When Stark acquired River city, things took a turn for the worse. Higher prices and poor, less service. In my opinion River City pest control was a much better Company. Customer service should be always a priority. Salesman came out to the house with apparently not much knowledge of what he was doing. I’m done with starks pest control.

They sent me an invoice with no name, no service delivered. Definitely fishing for customers in a scam fashion. Not a good impression on honesty.

Arrived on time and completed work in 4 hrs. Professional and explained what work was accomplished.

Exact same message as last year. Make a note on the account or something. There are holes ar the garage door. They were drilled in the crack. Go back out and treat this area. "No issues with technician, but it was stated that the line between the driveway and garage wasn't drilled. We had this issue previously. It has been drilled, but it was done in the crack between the 2 and is not the easiest to see. If this area wasn't treated, please stop by and treat this.'

Blane did a great job. Listened to my comments and made an extra effort to help with the problem. He also cleaned out a lot of cobwebs in the garage. He is good representative of your company and I felt he was serious about my house hold needs. He addressed some problems in the back yard.

I contracted river city to treat my new home purchase for two forms of WDI. They provided a same day inspection and quote. Their work was quick and clean. The only reason I did not give them a higher rating is they did not tell me my policy was comprehensive on all wood destroying insects until after the work was performed. If I knew this upfront I would have chosen a different pest control company.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!! I don't often write negative reviews, but in this case I must. I paid $86.00 (43 for each unit) to receive inspection reports for 2 properties I was selling. I paid over the phone and scheduled the inspection. They had no problem taking my money. They did not ask whether I had a policy with another company (I did, but my termite company was asking too much for an inspection). So I went with River City since their fees were similar to what others would typically charge. They came out, as scheduled, but called shortly after arriving. They said they would not provide a report because they saw evidence of termites. I asked if they were referring to some mud in the outdoor storage room of one unit. They said yes. I informed them that this was existing mud from many years ago. I have a report from when I purchased the property over 10 years ago. I asked if there was evidence of any active termites. They said no. I asked them to submit the report stating exactly what they found...evidence of termites but no active termites found. They refused...stating that this would "look bad" when trying to close. I told them I don’t care what it looks like...it's the truth...so provide it in the report. They refused again. I did not receive a report for my 86 dollars. I contacted the front office and explained. I was given the same answer. I told them I either want my money back or a report. She refused. She said “we’re not trying to screw you over" (very unprofessional). She said I was better off getting my termite company to come out. Shocked, I asked why she didn’t tell me this when I was scheduling the appointment. She said she didn’t think to ask that. Are you kidding me? I ended up going with my termite company (Massey Services)…just had to pay a higher fee. But they came out and provided the report. And you know what? The report says that they saw evidence of termites (mud) but no active termites!! How about that! And you know what else? I was able to close with no problem. Don’t waste your time or money with this company. I’m sorry I did. Tell you friends and family so they don’t end up in this situation. Another funny thing…there was only that one issue in one of my properties…but they wouldn’t even give me a report for the property with no issues!! Again…they weren’t interested in providing a complete service…just taking my money. And another funny thing...their website says "The Best Service Guaranteed"...really?!?!
