Brendon is awesome! He came in and got to the bottom of a knat problem when I had a teenager who had not emptied her cooler down in my basement. Since then he had come on a regular basis to ensure we are good. He is professional and courteous and I would recommend this company always!

Extremely upset I set up an appointment that worked perfectly for me and my grandma as I was doing it for her home and she is super stressed about the jap beetle infested. So they gave us 2 hr window and we both sat here and waited called 3 times and all I got was “can’t get ahold of the schedule they will call us.” Never received call they 2 hour window came and went then I finally called and got very upset and they then tell me we never had an appointment and asked if I wanted to set one up. Absolutely not so I can take off work and never get a service again. Nope will make sure everyone knows so they don’t get the same treatment. Thanks for the time I missed at work and dealing with a very upset grandmother!!

Would give zero stars if I could. Called on Friday and left a voicemail, got a call back from Cody on Saturday who said they could get someone out Monday morning to help address a critter running around in our ceiling. The two hour window comes and goes and nobody shows up, and when I call to try to get ahold of someone they say they show no record of an appointment and the local office is “backed up with calls and won’t answer right now.” So there’s nothing they can do but leave a message for someone to reach out to me. Meanwhile there is something running around over my head and nobody trying to come take care of it. Will be looking to cancel my contract after this. Stay away!

Would rate lower if possible. They do not care. At all. Scheduling is a mess, they will blame 'the computer', 'the owners', and anyone else to make it not their fault. They refuse to hear complaints nor follow through on promises. They hope to get you on the roster and then you forget about them to all but steal your money.

Disappointing is an understatement. I signed up for service here after using Orkin in Florida. We recently moved to the KC area and thought things would be seamless. TLDR: They were not. Starting with the service, my issues were spiders and ants primarily. Since Orkin first showed up the problems have gotten worse so I had to hire another company to manage the problem. For $111 a month that Orkin was charging the service I was getting was an adhoc visit when I called for them to come out to spray. This is entirely different then Florida, I was paying less and it was scheduled visits. My BIL was here during one of those adhoc visits and when the technician left he asked me "Why are you paying for nothing?" He had noticed that the technician sprayed very little and didn't even go everywhere. The fees: when I left Florida I didn't have any cancelation issues. I closed my account and that was it. For canceling here in KC, I called the corporate office to cancel on Jul 14th. This is after I established service in KC May 19th. I paid a $328.76 initiation fee and that included the first months service. I paid again Jun 18th $111.05 for the next month assuming the problem would go away. When I called Jul 14th the service agent told me that my card would get removed and I would not get charged additionally. It's Aug 1st and I just got a collection notice letter saying I owe Orkin $140.68. I called the corporate office and they told me I was on a "flex plan". When I called and canceled, they also canceled my adhoc visit for Jul and told me we wouldnt have Jul service. So the actual cost of my service was just split out over 12 months and they prorated one piece of it for Jun so that's why I'm getting charged extra. This wasn't explained when I first signed up so that's misleading. Also misleading was the corporate office telling me I wouldn't get charged more and now I have a collections letter from Orkin. So it's almost $600 for only 2 months of valid "service" that made everything worse. Misleading, way too high priced, and makes the problem worse. Would avoid this place like a swarm of mosquitoes they can't take care of.

Orkin's technicians made me feel unsafe in my own home. Adding insult to injury - Orkin's staff members Michelle and Ryan - were incredibly unfriendly and rude. There are so many cheaper and better options in the KC Area. We switched to Rock Pest Control and they have been a 10/10 - knowledgeable and so kind! Run don't walk away from Orkin!

Well since someone took my rating down I'll repost it. Some one who answered the post said to contact them. Can't do that without proper info & contact number. if it get taken down again. I will repost it every day. Approx 1 30 pm TODAY. Forged signature and turned in a service ticket when he never came to our house. Service appointment was scheduled between 4-6 pm waited for the tech for nothing . Branch manager never returned my phone calls. (3 days). He said that it not worth his time looking it up . Secretary said Mgr spoke to tech and he denied forging the signature. Secretary told me looking at past signatures they did not match. Tech claimed he did the treatment. I came home early from work to meet him and for the walk through. Office could not give me the ceo's telephone number. Checking around now for a honest and trustworthy company. Had this contract since 1996. Trust and respect go a long way.

Update I have changed my satisfaction record with this company. I had bedbugs. They came out with a contractor company to do a heat treatment. The person that came out was not even at my house for seven hours. So the treatment was not effective. I still have bedbugs. I paid $4000 for a service that was not done correctly. Their inspector was supposed to come back out in a two hour window Never showed up. They want to send another company out to do it again. I have no extra storage in my modular home so I had to rent a storage unit. They want me to do it again and won’t cover the charges this time. Not going to happen and saying that me moving stuff out of the house like I was instructed to is what is causing the bedbugs because those items weren’t treated. But I was instructed to move those items out of the house so they are not damaged. Very unhappy with this company now $4000 down the drain. Do not use Orkin. They will not stand by their work. All over the website it says that there will be a follow up inspections for bedbugs never once was contacted. They only want to blame me for doing the prep work that they told me to do. Very satisfied with the service that I received from Orkin We have gone from a massive infestation to a light Infestation, Orkin’s Technician Ryan Knowlton is The one that has made it happen I recommend him to anyone

We started service back in June and since then we have not seen a difference in pest in our home. I called to cancel and was told a manager would reach out to discuss the issue. No one ever reached out and I had to call back to get confirmation on cancellation. I would not recommend this service at all. Overpriced especially for the lack of quality.

My experience with Orkin. 2021 had a large infestation of termites. These guys were on it. Very responsive and on it knowing I had an issue. Spent thousands of dollars core drilling through concrete the house creating a perimeter setting of stationS everything they suggested. The chemical supposed to last 15 years. However, if you don't sign up for their yearly service or you pay them to warranty it basically, meaning if there's any other issues they'll spray it at no charge or take care of it. Basically you're paying for additional services that should be covered under a warranty if the product does last 15 years. I don't mind paying for an additional services to come check my house but how should that affect any warranty? Because the work that was done and the product itself should warrant the work completed. I chose not to use the services, not to be cheap but just thought the last 15 years but why do I need to pay for 15 years of checking on it. I'll let them know how displeased I was and demanded that they come back out and so they did. They told me that I had a termite infestation again and then I needed to pump all The Wall's full of foam into an extensive amount of work. I kindly requested a proposal of their recommendations so I can have a comparison because I was not sure if I wanted to use them again. It's a chemical wasn't working. They refuse to give me a cost asking why should they if I'm going to work out. I kindly asked him to leave them. I had two other vendors come today and they said that it's not termites and that their Carpenter ants localized in one section and they have since treated it at minimal cost if that matters. Long story short, if something should last 15 years then why should I have to pay for you to warranty it? Just to tell me that the termites are back even when they're not termites. Be careful when signing a contract with these people. Read the contractual agreement. Reach out to others, you might find a better solution.

Literally the worst company! I needed them to spray for ants and spiders inside and outside of the house. The first appointment the man came and was done with my house within 15 minutes. I had to tell him where to spray and he wasn’t even going to do every room until I told him to. Fast forward 1 week and the ants are actually worse so I call them and they scheduled me for another week out to have a man come and spray again. So I schedule an appointment and the person never showed and never called me. I called the next day and the woman never apologized so I asked to speak to a manager and he talked me into scheduling another visit to make up for the no call/no show, instead of cancelling like I wanted to. The same man comes and sprays and took 13 mins and he didn’t spray outside. Another 2 weeks after their second visit, nothing is better! I called them and told them I wasn’t satisfied and wanted all my money back and they fought so hard on that. Finally my husband told them we don’t want them to come out again cause whatever they’re doing isn’t working at all and the manager FINALLY agreed to a full refund. How that was 8 days ago and we have yet to get our refund. I definitely do not recommend Orkin, I should have listened to their bad reviews…you couldn’t pay me to use them again! Here’s a few photos of a ton of ants outside our back door (there’s more ants in other places too). If I could give them 0 stars on here, I would.
