I cannot recommend South Suburban Maintenance enough for snow removal! With the AFC Championship game in full swing, I was posted up at the TV, and stressing about the mounting snow in the driveway. I called Mr. Thomas and he couldn't have been more accommodating. With the heavy workload from the recent storm, I wasn't expecting them until later this evening. It was such a relief to see them finishing up BEFORE kickoff of the NFC Championship Game. They were professional, thorough, and even included de-icing. If you want a reliable snow removal service in the south suburbs, that gets the job done at a reasonable cost, look no further! 10/10

South Suburban Maintenance Inc. did an excellent job of clearing my driveway of snow and ice from three snowfalls. I called South Suburban Maintenance at 7:30pm on Sunday, and my driveway was cleared by 7:30am. The owner Mr. Thomas was very professional.

If I could give you an Excuse as to Why I gave the 1 Star , I would. It seems this is ALL Mr. Thomas had for me. I would initiate the contact bi-weekly to check if I would be " in rotation" to get my grass cut. Today, it was the truck was down. At 6:40 pm, you had No intentions of cutting my grass. My advise, choose someone, ANYONE else. Please, No response will be your best response. I have receipts.

Call yesterday he he said he would be here Sunday .And him and his crew showed up and showed out my lawn is great front and back !!!! Highly recommend

This was my first time using South Suburban Maintenance and it was a great experience. Chauncey Thomas was extremely professional and communicative. He was thorough and pleasant to work with. Terrible! Spoke with him at 8am told me he could get the job done SAME DAY! Shows up at 6pm quoted me $250 for half the size of an average yard, my back yard doesn't even have grass...I still agreed to pay him because I have a BBQ tomorrow, then he made up another excuse saying " he could come back tomorrow" HOW! Am I going to gind someone to cut my grass at 6pm inconsiderate and very unprofessional...

Called them at last minute and they came and did a great job. Looking forward to doing more business with this Outfit!!!!!!! The bushes look great guys!!!!

This company quoted me the price and scheduled service for yesterday. They never showed up and no communication either. Because we do not live at the property I even agreed to pay them full amount up front before they even start doing the job. Still no show. Do not trust this company. Period. Update: I have all the texts showing I replied his last text almost right-away. He asked whether I still need the service at 5:54pm yesterday. I replied almost immediately said "yes, please." I also re-send the property address and instruction for access. That's it. No reply from him until 15 minutes ago today saying his phone died. People, you figure this out.

I contacted Mr Thomas by phone and we made plans for him to clean the snow off my driveway for an important event on the next day. He was supposed to contact me when he arrived. He told me I could rely on him because he wants to maintain good ratings. 90 minutes after he promised to be done with the job, I called him because I had not heard from him. He said “oh, I forgot”. I would not rely on this company if you need something important done. Very unreliable and unapologetic. They cost me a lot of money by not following thru with the work.

I called and spoke to the owner mr chancey he was nice over the phone and even shared with me he is looking for an assistant. I referred him instantly and asked he come do my yard...it took him a day to come with excuses of why he didnt show up after making arrangements and then he gave me a quote and said he will be back again never showed up...I called no answer then I text and received a message saying my number was blocked...very unprofessional and called my referrals and told them not to use him...no explanation as to why he blocked me and made false appointments I thought he was pretty qualified for the job no matter the cost but nahhhhhh....I wouldn't use his services
