Recently, my husband and I had a terrible experience with A-1 Pest Control. I called for an appointment on Tuesday. I had to play phone tag several times. Each time I called, I pressed one to stay on the line but no one answered. I left a message each time. When I was called back, I was in a meeting and tried to call back to them but could not reach a live person. When the receptionist called back to schedule, she was rude. However, a technician was scheduled to come out the following day. She gave a specific time (and not a time window). On the day of the appointment, I called to find how when the technician would be coming (because he was late), and the receptionist was rude again. A technician never came. I had been using A-1 for almost 20 years. NEVER AGAIN.

So I explained the history with your account with him as follows. <br>Starting in 2010- service performed, 3 complaints on that service. From Linda. Saying the tech didn’t do what he should have. We sent another back out, still wasn’t happy. Received a total of 3 services for free , from 2011-2013 due to deceptive comments . Stating tech didn’t do the whole job, showed up late (techs route showed he was 4 min past appointment time) <br>2013 our technician had the flu- called and complained and got another free service .<br>Previous office admin cancelled account due to verbal abuse from Linda.<br>I took over . Have 5 services in the time period from 2015-2020, and notes were made on each service of verbal abuse. I didn’t realize the account had been cancelled or else I wouldn’t have scheduled. <br>Appointment was set for last Friday , @3:30. We don’t do windows.. we just need allowance , like everyone else on planet earth, for traffic, construction etc) Linda called at 3:37 , angry that the tech wasn’t there. I called tech- he was almost there, on the way. Office closed at 4. I got a call Monday that no one showed from the Husband . I told him they need to find a better fit, we will not service them anymore. <br>As far as playing phone tag, and not reaching anyone- there is an auto attendant that puts you on hold if I am on the other line. You kept hanging up due to impatience. I called you back every single time, within an hour time frame. <br>Again, we hope you find a better fit.

We are extremely satisfied with A-1Pest control. We’ve had their service for many years now and have never had a problem with bugs. The only issue we’ve seen were gnats and they were explained as coming from the kitchen drain and they have found no resolution. Other than, we’ve had no problems.

Tech claimed he couldn't find our bait stations near our garage. Didn't leave a note or any paperwork to let us know. We ended up walking our yard & marking all of the stations after a call from the business office.

No.. that’s not how the conversation went. I called and informed you the bait stations were removed. You told me “maybe he , husband, took them out and set them next to the garage ” during the phone call. Our Tech found all the station in the ground near your garage. It was around the house that stations are missing. <br>You also were notified half were missing which we again replaced, for free. (Normally $25 per reinstall) in August of 2024. When we came back in November another 6 were gone. Again. <br>The warranty is voided if they have been moved from the original spot. This has been the reports from 3 different technicians- not “The guy” as in one technician. <br><br>Addressing leaving no “note”.. you scheduled a specific time for us to come and did not answer the door. So I called and RESCHEDULED another time.<br>Which is when we discovered no stations were in the ground. We do not leave a note for a scheduled appointment, that you scheduled and should be present for because you requested the time. I also told you during that phone call that we have a great new system that you can look at your reports yourself. You declined leaving an email for that service. <br><br>This could have been an easy phone call Susan. If you found the stations that you removed from their spots- you can call and we will reinstall them for a fee, which we already discussed on the phone.
