Meyer Bees

I got my first package of bees today! Dave was very helpful at the bee association meetings I’ve gone to and willing to answer all my questions. The mom and daughter in the shop (I didnt catch their names) were also so kind and helpful. They went out of their way to get me frames and other things. I really appreciate them and will be back!

Still a great place to get a Bee nuc. Also you get to meet so many other beekeepers from all over the state and the states next door. Check out their website or swing by their store. Foe some gifts, supplies and friendly advice.

Fantastic experience, and our bees are thriving! Worth the 6 total hours of drive time! This was the closest place I could get Saskatraz, and they are going through twice the feed as Italians & Carnolians, and really appear to be busier!

A little bit hard to find, with very little signage out by the driveway. However, they have just about everything you could ever need for beekeeping. They purchase most their equipment from large retailers so unless you are buying a large quantity of equipment at once you aren’t losing out on many savings by just going to their store.

Very shady dealer. I purchased several nuts with queens. I bought 6 nuts and only one had a queen. When I complained they insisted I was mistaken. I tried to get queens sent but they insisted I pay for new queens that should have been in the nucs to begin with. I then checked out the nuc boxes to find a postit note that had (queen ?) On it. This is a greedy supplier. Don't waste your time and money.
