I cannot say enough good things about Tony at steri clean. He provided sound pragmatic advice at a time when I was worried about construction in my home exposing my 6 month old to environmental hazards. Despite knowing that my timeline did not align with his availability he gave me step by step instructions on how to make my home safe without any guarantee of future business. A true pro. I am very grateful for steri clean Illinois expertise.

Aaron and Mike came to clean the unfinished portion of my basemen̈t. They did a great job, very thorough and took the time to ask questions and to help with any items that needed to be moved. The basement is nice and clean. I highly recommend Steri Clean!

Tony was very helpful and patient in answering my myriad questions about whether I should have my home fogged because of issues with odors. I highly recommend Tony if you have such issues in your home.

I can't say enough good things about Steri-Clean! When faced with a very severe hoarding situation, we contacted some other companies, but it sounded like they just sent some burly folks out to schlepp boxes. We needed more. Mike and his team were absolutely fabulous. They were very respectful, thorough, and professional. They helped organize the whole process so that it was not too overwhelming. They found so many things that we thought were lost forever! Tony was easy to reach and responsive to all of our concerns. I would definitely hire them again, and I would recommend them to anyone who needs this type of help!!

Tony, Joel and their team were terrific! Did a wonderful job and were amazingly patient and helpful. Explained what they were doing throughout the process so I didn't get overwhelmed. The house looks and smells amazing. Would recommend 100%.

Initially planned to put new fiberglass insulation in after taking out 48yr old mice infested pieces. Tony and Joel, after seeing the extent of mice damage, immediately recommended having someone else do spray foam insulation which mice do not like. This means they redid the contract and LOWERED their price. (Unfortunately, spray foam insulation is much more expensive but worth it.) They were honest! Mike, Joel, and Tony were very professional. Helped me go through 48 years, (more if you count my grandparents items), of collecting and storing. Not haseling me about time. Although they worked quickly! I can't sing high enough praises of Tony and his team at Steri-Clean. I hit rock bottom and needed my house cleaned so I could get a plumber in to inspect my downstairs bathroom. From the start, Tony met me where I was and communicated with me by my preferred method. When he came to my house to provide an estimate, he was extremely kind and made me feel like a person — not judged. The team that came to my house to clean was AMAZING! They were in my house (approx. 1400 sq ft) for 4.5 days and took out so much trash, even with the limitation of not having a dumpster due to my living situation. Plus ALL the scrubbing! I don't think any surface was left untouched. I honestly just wanted all the stuff out of my house. The rest was icing on the cake. They went above and beyond, and my house is in a state I can manage. PLUS, my downstairs bathroom now works because one of the team members was able to clear the drain. The team listened to me every step of the way and respected my choices, providing me with details on my options. And at the end of the clean up, they checked in with me again to make sure I had every opportunity to receive their support. My ONLY ding would be not having the option to input my payment method via an online portal, but that’s minor. I will happily reach back out to Tony and his team in the future if needed. The service was worth every penny! This is white-glove service for a major purge and deep clean.

When I unexpectedly had a three bedroom hoarder house with full basement and garage that was FULL, I called Steri-Clean. Toni came out within a few days, looked it all over and sent me a contract. Mike and his team diligently worked to clean out the entire house and garage, removed old carpeting, sorted and boxed up items that could be sold/donated. Then they washed and cleaned every surface. Their professionalism and thoroughness is phenomenal; they completely exceeded my expectations. For me, they provide an incredibly valuable service and did an immensly outstanding job.

This review is way too late in coming, but Tony and his technicians need to be lauded for their professionalism, optimism, and expertise. This morning as I was driving to an appointment, I was pondering what did NOT need tending...and Tony and the Steri-Clean crew came to mind. I was tasked with the cleaning and remediation of property in another state. Tony and his techs met me there for a small project; the intent was to remove and remediate appliances and also to assess the larger scope of work to so he could offer an accurate quote. In the first 15 minutes of the project, Tony had earned the future business. He showed up on early, they set straight to work, and then it happened: when there was discovery of sensitive material, he called me over, ensured I was at a safe distance for fumes, and asked my permission to investigate more into the items found. This was sensitive information that could be used to compromise someone. He ensured there was no question about their integrity. An hour later when the project was almost complete, there was a concern about damage to a wall when removing an appliance. Tony instructed and worked with his technicians to find an alternative solution that would keep the structure of the home in tact. The quote for the original project was honored. The images for the subsequent project were obtained. I had a quote for the next project within 24 hours and all my questions answered within about 48 hours. The second phase of our effort was 4 months later. The technicians worked diligently for 10 business days, the original estimation. The technicians set to work, explained what was needed of me at each step. They worked cheerfully, adhered to the arrival and lunch and departure times. The level of integrity from the first phase was maintained at all times, except one by one individual on the first day of phase 2. That individual did not return to the project again, not by my request, but the supervisor just dealt with it without me saying a word. That spoke volumes!! After the declutter and debris was removed, I was astounded with the level of cleanliness the techs were able to achieve. The rooms were restored to a level I could not have imagined. What I want to be sure to mention is the attitude of Tony and his techs. Always professional, always on time, always working at a diligent pace, but when I would get discouraged, they kept me focused and encouraged; it is important to note that decisions need to be made by the customer; those can't be put off on Steri-Clean, and they were respectful of the emotional weight of the project. By the end our 10 days, the project was complete, exceeding expectations. All of my questions about future decisions we may incur were answered. The price seemed high originally, but I'd never done this work. Now, I realize it was a steal because it included ALL the supplies, the travel, the dumpster rental, and expertise. It was reasonable given the scope and I'd do it again (porobably adding 2 days and 2 more tasks if given the chance). The only cause for disappointment would be that Tony is probably disappointed that this review took so long for me to write. By way of explanation, we had a list 20 miles long of tasks to complete. Steri-Clean's efforts to the decluttering and remediation at our property took the lion share of that weight and allowed us to focus on so much more in coming months. What does that really mean? Tony knows his stuff! He and the Steri-Clean team gave us quality, professional service, and a peace of mind. I pray the guys on the team are doing well. I could name them here, but...they know who they are and God bless them! Thank you Steri-Clean and Tony!

We hired them to clean out a townhome as well as do a biohazard cleaning. Tony was wonderful in easing my mind and sent Mike and his crew out. They did an amazing job! It was such a relief to have it handled in a professional and expedient way. Can’t thank them enough!

Tony and his crew at Steri-clean did an outstanding job at helping my father and me remove hoarding in his two story house. They were with us each step of the way and respected our wishes for what to keep, donate, and throw out. We were emotionally overwhelmed with going through my mom’s possessions (she recently passed), but Tony and his team helped us get through this difficult time. The end result is my dad now has a deep cleaned, organized house. We are so thankful for their hard work and couldn’t have done it without them!

Tony, Mike, Ashley, Ross and Big Mike did a phenomenal clean up on a hoarder home situation with animal issues. Their attention to detail was excellent to the point of washing dirty dishes out of a broken dishwasher and going through closets and kitchen cabinets to clean, organize and remove expired food products. The amount of work performed in three days and the resulting cleaned areas are perfect. Tony was prompt in his response and inspection of the home to be decluttered, cleaned and sanitized for a fair price. Thanks Tony and crew!!!!

Highly recommend Tony and his team. Professional, courteous, hard-working, responsive, communicative, compassionate and have a sense of humor. We had a situation that was just too much for our family to handle on our own. When Tony was done, the house was night and day from how it was a week and a half ago. It was like a fresh start. Just called to voice my unhappiness with your service. Tony was rude and totally uncompromising. I am 67 and disabled. When your crew was here, they totally rearranged my cupboards, which had been the same since I was born (I’ve lived here since birth). There was no reason to do that. They broke things which have not been replaced. Brought bags of clothes which were to be be washed from the garage to my bedroom and stacked them in front of my closet so I cannot access my closet. They were supposed to help, not put me in a worse position. I could’ve cleaned my home in another way. I wish they had never come!

I would hire Steri-Clean Illinois again in a heartbeat. Tony and his crew did a cleanup and move out of my family members’ home. The family members had experienced declining health, along with depression, and their home had gotten into a very bad state. I had attempted to clean up parts of the house myself, but it was totally overwhelming, especially since my priority was to try to assist them in regaining their health. I couldn’t do it all. When one of the family members went into hospice and then passed away, I knew it was time to bring in the professionals. I found Steri-Clean Illinois through a web search and called Tony, who was kind and understanding about the situation. He and his guys were really great: compassionate, considerate, positive, hard workers under very difficult conditions. Oh, and they could lift heavy couches and toss them into dumpsters. Over and over again. My jobs were to sort paperwork and tell them what items to keep/store, donate, or toss. Whenever my energy started to drop or my emotions got the best of me, Tony seemed to know the right thing to do or say to get me back in the game. I am so grateful for all their hard work, good humor, and professionalism. What seemed to me to be an insurmountable task at first was accomplished over several days of work and I am so happy to have it done. Thanks guys, for a job well done!

I can't say enough about Tony M. and his crew. My loved ones were in a terrible car accident. While they healed, I hired Steri-Clean to come in and declutter and make their house a place where they could return to and move about safely due to a hoarding situation. The price was more than fair, the service and professionalism were excellent. I would strongly recommend Steri-Clean for any clean up need you have. My loved ones now have a place to go home to and I have peace of mind that I haven't had since before their accident.

Tony and all the guys were very easy to work with. They communicated well, were professional and went above and beyond my expectations. Owner Tony M. is awesome. Have used his service several times. Water in basement, no problem. They were able to clean and dry thoroughly and check for mold and disinfect entire basement. Had an issue with dryer vents, he came out and took care of what three service teams couldn’t figure out. Saved me over $700 by not having to purchase a new dryer.

Over the past 2 weeks I have had to tackle the one thing that I have been dreading for 25+ years, and that is cleaning out my parent's home. I have literally lost many nights of sleep over that time thinking about the unfathomable job ahead of me. Knowing I couldn't do this on my own I contacted Steri-Clean. From my first conversation with Tony I knew this was the right step and I felt instantly at ease. We were able to schedule an appointment for a consult that week and he sent me the estimate by the following day. Overwhelming feelings and emotions play a huge part in this process for many reasons, but from the first day I felt comfortable with him and his team (Dez, Joel & Mike). They literally jumped right in and didn't stop until the job was done. Every. Single. Day. Communications were clear throughout the process, the team was prompt, professional, organized and thoughtful in caring for the home's items, including myself. Beside the fact that there were several areas that were mistakenly overlooked and not taken into consideration during the estimate(my mistake), they did it without hesitation and still finished in the timeframe agreed upon. No matter what I asked them to do, it was done immediately with no questions asked. It takes a special and amazing person to engage and listen to your life's story, experiences and history all while cleaning through the memories. Working next to Tony helped me realize everything would be ok and that's what he did for me. This is definitely one of the most emotional, physical and mental experiences I have had to deal with and this team was definitely a huge support system for me throughout this experience whether they know it or not. I can honestly say I couldn't have done it without them. Ever. I know one could say that they are just "doing their job", or "they are getting paid to do it", but it takes unique and caring individuals to help you go through unimaginable surroundings without making you feel judged or uncomfortable. Hell, I didn't want to go through it and it was my own family's things... let alone if I had to go through a stranger's mess. And this is what they do on a daily basis. The joking and bantering I had with them made the whole process palpable and helped me see light at the end of a long dark tunnel. With every day that passed I could see all of our hard work come to fruition and that light became a whole lot closer and brighter. I do not do reviews. Ever. This is one I couldn't resist or neglect to write. I can never say enough about these guys who helped lift the weight off my shoulders that I've been carrying for 25+ years. If anyone is in this situation, don't hesitate to call Tony and his crew. They will get the job done and relieve you from that monster on your back. EVERY penny was well worth it. THANK YOU TONY!!

If you are looking for THE BEST, this is it!!! We were dealing with the aftermath of a mice infestation, lots of clutter and bad smell. Tony Moser and his team came in and went to work on the house and didn’t stop for three days! They cleaned ceilings, cabinets, walls, floors, toilets, everything from top to bottom. Cleaned, steamed and disinfected! The smell dissipated every hour they were there. It was truly amazing watching the transformation happen so fast, They carefully cleared clutter asking us all along the way if we wanted to keep, donate or trash items. They carefully sorted personal items and important paperwork and set it aside for us to go through. They were kind, polite and caring throughout the entire process. My cousin had been very hesitant about having people come into his home and was embarrassed by the smell and mess. However, he felt so comfortable with Tony’s team that he expressed over and over to everyone how happy he was they were there. The team was so great!! They put together a new recliner I had ordered that was still in the box and then helped set up his new television! They did not have to do this but didn’t hesitate when I asked for their assistance. They went above and beyond the entire time they were there. Tony Moser is an amazing individual who truly cares about the quality of work his company promises to deliver. I set up an appointment with Tony Moser and he canceled 15 minutes before the appointment. We rescheduled for the next day and they came early because they had some free time but I wasn’t home. I was told to just reschedule. When I tried to reschedule because this is a delicate situation, Tony said oh you weren’t home. I don’t appreciate that. It took a lot of courage to contact them in the first place.

They held on to my things. Going back to get the rest soon. Got all my stuff that they had but, TONY LIED TO ME & SAID THEY KEPT EVERYTHING WHICH THEY DIDN'T!!! WHAT A LIE!!!
