Enviro-Tech Termite & Pest Control

Enviro-Tech insulated our crawl space and installed a sump pump for us. The workers were courteous and friendly, while doing a great job, including cleaning up when they were done. At some point a year or so later, I got concerned about the sump pump and they came by and checked it out for us. It turned out there was no problem with it and it continues to work fine to this day. I totally recommend them.

This is the second year in a row that we’ve used enviro-tech to spray around the outside and inside our house. Other places quoted us ridiculous amounts. First, enviro tech has good prices. Our block has issues with water bugs, but since last year we have just recently started to see a few outside the house! We called to get on the schedule for a spray this year again. They are easy to schedule with. This is also the second year they have sent out John to spray for us. John is a very personable person and easy to talk to. John is super nice and does a good thorough job. John keeps in mind and informs you about the products used in and around your house if you have animals or children like we do. We will continue to ask for him every year that he works for this company. We highly recommend!

I had Enviro-Tech treat my house today for a pest issue and they did a fantastic job. Ray made sure that my cats food was out of the way when he sprayed outside. He also got my broom and wiped all the cobwebs off around my house. Enviro- Tech treated my house in the past for termites and took care of water issues that I had in my crawlspace. I highly recommend this business!

I have used this company for many years and have nothing but great things to say. My service person Cole always calls a day before he comes which is a nice touch. 🙂 He has totally eliminated my pest issues.

Keith and his team resolved my crawl space issues and did an amazing job. We were pressed for time and Keith made it happen before our deadline. The ladies in the office were very helpful in getting this scheduled and set up for us also. I would highly recommend using this company moving forward.

Very affordable and a very knowledgeable exterminator. Harry explained everything very well before hand which made the whole process simple. Highly recommend over other exterminators.

Had them come out to treat for a bad ant problem. Called them a couple weeks later and told them I was still having problems. Dylan came back out after normal hours due to scheduling, sprayed everything again and refreshed the bait traps. He was also highly knowledgeable about the products used and how they are safe for my pets. Would highly recommend for your pets needs

Enviro-Tech is honest and a reasonably priced company..they care about major concerns of customer and explain things thoroughly..great group of workers..

They seem to know their way around termite treatments I guess? The pest control guy was worthless and rude, didn't fix our problem at all.

Horrid service. Very rude. Foul language.

First spray did not work. Nice enough to setup a second service free. So they say. Guy comes today. Pulls in then leaves and I mean literally. She calls and he claims he knocks. It’s 5 minutes til 9 at this point which is earlier than appointment time. Except I’ve been awake and watched him. I call myself to confront guy and ask him to return and he cusses me out and hangs up. We call the business and explain what happened and after a headache of excuses they just hang up. Horrible business. Unprofessional. Ignorant. And honestly blatantly disorganized.

Showed up early. Did not knock. When called about it was told the environment was hostile therefore they would not be coming back after their technician cussed us out. Definitely would never recommend due to the unprofessional attitude.

Was extremely disappointed that although we personally set up a pest inspection and prepaid for it, Envirotech would NOT send US the report! We had to follow up, and they still didn't send it to us - said to check with our realtor. If our realtor had set up and paid that would be all fine and dandy - but they didn't, WE DID. Very poor customer service... Disappointing in this smaller community. 😒

They have been very rude to me on the phone .insist they have to come certain days..cut me off in mid sentence then claim I am not easy to schedule..if they talk to everyone like this how are they in business?

The previous landlord of the house I rent negotiated a contract with them for this house to deal with any pests that may arise. I live right next to a wooded area. Instead of doing anything of spraying, the guy would come in, say there were too many dead cockroaches for him to spray, even after I had vacuumed up and spent time picking up dead cockroaches by hand, and then leave. From what I understand, they're better with termites than anyone, but Hire them to deal with literally any other pest, and you're basically screwing yourself out of money. That's a bad thing because the wooded areas in this part of Southern Illinois are also home to field mice and, all winter, I heard weird noises coming from the ceiling, and occasionally the walls. Now that Winter's over, there's a lot more of it in the walls, and I'm hearing squeaking. I told the Envirotech guy when I was here and he had come by. He laughed and said it was probably a raccoon. I took him out his word. Never doing that again. All in all, lousy service, an insanely small list of pests that they can deal with properly, meaning 1 and terrible customer service skills. The only reason I even gave them one star is because that was the lowest I could go.

They did a good job with our treatment, but broke some things down in our basement (a glass pitcher I had purchased as a gift and a bag full of glass hummingbird feeders). These things could have easily been moved to the side, and if they were accidentally broken the professional thing to do would have been to let us know.

This has got to be the WORST customer service I have ever experienced. I had termites in the home I was purchasing. They were contracted out to remove them. They did a good job that I know of, but they slung oil on my finished walls in the basement. I was certain this was avoidable, but I didn't say anything. My year was up, and I was under the impression that I had a three year service plan. I was contacted by the company to tell me I had service due, but was going to be charged $85 for the inspection. I did not recall that in my contract, so I questioned the girl on the other end of the line when I called. She couldn't answer my question why I was being charged except to say "standard contract". After inquiring as to WHY when their services were paid at the time and should have a standard 3 year warranty WITHOUT having to pay every year, she very quickly transferred me to her supervisor (who I am later told is the VP and manager of the company). I told him I felt deceived and misled by their service technician with the cost of having to pay again. I was not familiar with having to "pay" to keep my warranty up-to-date and was very unhappy with the news. Instead of trying to console and understand their customer, he was quick to say "we'll just end the contract and be done with you. BYE BYE!" I was appalled by the customer service I received and tried to call another number. A lady answered and said all numbers rang the same office. She couldn't help me, but when I tried again to voice my complaint about poor customer service, she too got on the defensive and talked over me. Not one of the three people I spoke to today had any patience, understanding, or any customer service skills of any sort. All they could say is they didn't want to deal me. The company doesn't know how to handle a real I tried to get them to come out and do the work as my paperwork supposedly says, but they refused. The business refused to listen to my complaint. Instead they wanted to simply say how "right" they were. Reading the other BBB review, I can see its validity. They were "too busy" to handle an upset customer. They would rather transfer, hang up, and talk over instead of listen. If the company would stop, listen, empathize, and offer a solution, their customer service would GREATLY increase. After attempting time and time again to have them listen to me without talking over me to listen to the customer, I finally decided I would jump on board with them and agree to their service. Then they were "oh, no. We don't want your business. We are just going to terminate your contract" of which they previously said they didn't have a "contract" with me.
