Pest Tech Hawaii

My elderly parents booked them twice and Pest tech never showed up both times. They made excuses and never apologized. Very disrespectful to kupuna. Chance’em if you like, but seems to be a common theme from other reviews.

We did the fumigation tenting with them. And still found active termites

Zara was very helpful -price was reasonable and they were able to schedule our tenting quickly.

I do not recommend Pest Tech. While their process is the same as others, they do not accept responsibility for damage. They destroyed ornamental shrubbery and left my gate unhinged. When I complained, no compensation, no apology.

We prepped our house three separate times for tenting over three months, and the tenting was cancelled for high winds three times. On the fourth attempt the tenting and treatment was finally done. However, they broke a number of tiles, damaged our copper gutters when they leant the ladders against them, and damaged the stucco on the support columns when they tied rope around them. When I submitted photos of the damage, they said because I signed a waiver they were not responsible for any of the damage. Breaking a few tiles could be expected. However, the other damage was totally avoidable.

Thank you to James Dumas for always delivering on promises and providing excellent termite inspections. Look forward to the next inspection with you.

Super disappointed with Pest Tech. Here's why: - the front outside corner of the raingutter was damaged and leaks significantly from the tent being pulled too tight - a portion of the raingutter on the left side of the house was damaged. Some screws are missing and the hidden hangers are bent down. - the planter in the back of the house was tented, including potted plants that were placed there because it was not to be tented. Those plants didn't do well. Aaron and I had talked about removing the gravel along side the house so the base of the tent would be sealed, but they tented around the entire garden. - I was told by Kahe and Earvin that they would be the only ones in the house. At one time, one of the workers, not Kahe or Earvin, removed the lock from the door and entered (we have camers). I assume it was to use the restroom. - some of the pergola was damaged from the tent being pulled too tight. - plants in the backyard were trampled on and damged - several balls of masking tape were left about the property. There were also some tent clips left in the gutter. Much like the other one star review, Aaron did well at securing the job. Unfortunately, the crew that showed up was sub-par. I emailed Aaron with the same list from above and never received a response. Ever since this recent fumigation, the ants have been out of control. I will not be using Pest Tech to deal with that.

My experience with Pest Tech was horrible! I would have rather taken my risk with termites over the damage they caused to my property. They caused thousands of dollars of damage to my roof, broke light fixtures, and killed expensive shrubbery! Their sales team talks the talk but their actual technicians look and act like they came straight from prison. Pest Tech was unwilling to fix the damage they caused and was extremely unprofessional.
