Had been a customer for 3 years. Every pest control tech that came had something negative to say about the company whether it was poor management or mistreatment due to lack of staff. Red flag and should have just canceled then but just stuck it out since they had been reliable after two moves and the techs were kind. Fast forward to today, received a collections letter from them saying I was 60 DAYS past due. First notice I had received even though I had been enrolled in autopay since 2023 AND my account online stating I was up to date on payments. Proceeded to pay via phone call and canceled right away when rep said he didn’t know what happened or why the system did that but my account was in fact overdue even though there was NO OTHER indication except for the collections letter sent after 60 DAYS of just watching my account collect dust. Just support local. Don’t put up with the headache that is Orkin. Between the HI office NEVER being open and available to speak to local reps (even during business hours) and only being able to speak to corporate reps and everyone always saying something about being confused about their own programs and systems it’s just not worth it. Support local and ditch this one.

Orkin representative tailor was very nice explained everything about the pest I was dealing with and also explained how the bait and spray he used will work on the pest and what to expect and how to keep them out . Thank you orkin.

Orkin is the reliable company. Technicians are knowledgeable and good listeners. They will take care of your place. After we did deep clean out and monthly treatment 3 times, we see the difference from previous conditions. Highly recommended!

Fred is the best!

Fred is a topflight technician. Ever since I started with Orkin I have not seen a single roach. This used to be a giant roach motel; I’ve now been bug free for a couple of years.

I think permanently closed at this point. I can’t get a hold of anyone.. I’m on hold forever after 15 minutes I give up and press 1 to leave a message and it says they are closed. It’s been over a week and I keep calling and never get a hold of any human. So I think they closed for good. I have been with them for 4 years. Sucks.. Need to find a new company now.

It’s never about how you start, it’s how you end. Add ORKIN to the list of companies who offered 24/7 sales line but as soon as you handover the check it is done. Believe me, they punch that clock and they don’t care. From 4:53pm I spoke to many employees who all promised to have someone out here last night. Nothing. No call back no show. There is a reason they ask customer satisfaction questions at the beginning instead of at completion. I DO NOT recommend this company. Why take a chance that you have to go through the same thing I did? There are so many other companies that Orkin should be last in your list. They only want money. I will pay another company to remove the traps and send the bill to them.

Excellent service and very receptive to needs. Update 2025: My service technician, Tyler Pitz, does an excellent job. He has eradicated cockroaches and ants from my property. My varying schedule is always accommodated and he makes sure my indoor cat is safe.

Continued success with Fred and our service to take care of roaches. Very happy with the service we received today.

Orkin customer service is terrible. local service swiches techs every few months. Good luck calling in and not being disconnected or sent around in their que countless times until you just give up. Worse yet, as soon as you get comfy with a tech you get a new guy. We have had four in just over 2 years. That says a lot. Charles the manager is who we were referred to as they decided it was accepetable to increase your contractual amount and raise it over 20% without advising ahead of time or getting approval to do so. Instead they did a hidden increase and took it our of our stored credit card as you have no other option to pay. After a 20 minutes dropped calls sent around to different departments just to get a requested refund for the difference we have to be approved by this manager. Ridiculous!!! Just easier to sumit a chargeback with our bank. We stumbled across the increase accidentally and treid to call many times over last 6 months when we first noticed it. Even told the tech about it--he did absolutely nothing! Useles. Then you forget get busy and it happens again. Of course you cant find a Orkin customer care email address which would be the easiest when one doesn't desire to sit on hold on a phone call then be kicked around for 20 minutes.
