I have used Coppermines Pest Control for several years, and I appreciate supporting a company that is locally owned and operated. I’ve only had one minor issue in the past, and it was addressed quickly and thoroughly by the owner. Today, our home service was handled by Robby, and he was exceptional—kind, caring, and very informative. He even called ahead to ask if he could arrive early since he was running ahead of schedule, which we greatly appreciated. I had a question about my bill, and he took the time to review the information he had and was very professional throughout. I followed up with Jessica in the office, and she immediately looked up my account and confirmed what I owed so I could settle everything promptly. Both Jessica and Robby have been professional from the moment the appointment was scheduled a couple of weeks ago through today’s service and invoice follow-up. What a wonderful, professional, Christian-based experience. Thank you, Coppermines!

I continued the service that the seller had with Coppermines for pest and termite. This was 2 years ago. We started to develop a problem with a very small type of fly in the house. We called and David came out and treated the drain in the kitchen. No improvement whatsoever was seen. This was 6 months ago. I called and spoke to the manager about the issue and he basically gave me every possible situation that he could think of to where he couldn’t be of any help. He did offer some suggestions but we had already tried them. The gnat problem is so bad that if you are simply cooking dinner they are everywhere on the food. If you have a drink opened up within 5 minutes your drink has a minimum of 10 gnats on it. I feel I gave Coppermines adequate time to fix this issue. I phoned my previous pest control company that I had do many years at my previous home as I was told they did not service Dahlonega at the time. They do now. They have made one visit and the issue has been non existent for 2 weeks. Needless to say I called and canceled my service with Coppermines. The lady I spoke to asked for the reason in which I explained it to her. She immediately said they can’t guarantee to stop any type of flying insect and told me to have a nice day. Are you kidding me? This was the same lady who told me last summer when I called about Joro spiders that they have not developed a chemical yet to kill them and she would let me know if they ever were to do that. I had a can of Raid pest spray at the house and sprayed a couple of them and I’ll be damed it killed them. Coppermines is good until you have a problem in which you really need them. Once you do good luck. I would like to note that we absolutely no problems or issues with our technician David. He’s actually a great guy and always enjoyed talking with him.

Robby Bell is a fantastic exterminator! He has been the best thus far with his professionalism and genuine interest in my daughter's house to be pest-free. I highly recommend Robby and Coppermines Pest Control.

This company is GREAT!! Junior came out and trimmed limbs and blocked the entry to our roof where the squirrels were making a nest. He cleaned up everything and did a great job. He is awesome!!!!!

We are super happy with our new technician, Robbie. He takes his time and does the job right. Coppermines is lucky to have him. A company is only as good as the service they provide and Robbie provides great service.

I purchased a property Coppermines previously did work on prior to my ownership. When I did not schedule them to continue treatment on the home they sent me a bill and threated collections on a service I never scheduled. After going to their office I was informed this was "their way" of getting my attention so I would contact them to schedule services. I reluctantly did allow them to complete a termite bait treatment and inspection. After missing the schedule slot they arrived the next day and spent less than 2 minutes inside the home inspecting a 2 story house before speeding past the neighbors home at a speed that was completely unsafe prompting a phone call from them I had to address. I would never use this company and will be quick to warn people to look elsewhere also. They lack professionalism in all that they do.

We had an ant attack in our kitchen. Copper Mines worked us in for a same day visit and David, the Service Tech, came at the end of a long day for him. He took his time and identified potential areas of concern, applied necessary pesticides, and advised to let Copper Mines know if the problems continued. We needed a return visit and again Copper Mines put us on the schedule with David. He came at the promised time and conducted a thorough investigation and treatment. We cannot say enough good things about David and Copper Mines. We have been customers of theirs since the company was started and can honestly say that their level of customer service, and the employees who work for them, are always top-notch. We highly recommend them.

Technician was punctual and professional

I paid a hundred and seventy five bucks for two visits .. each time they came and left I had an explosion of insects .. I had to cancel my Thanksgiving because of it .. note I only had started seeing them when I first called them in two weeks after they sprayed it was like living in a nightmare I would never recommend this company and they are still sending me bills that I never asked again for their service and paid them the two times they came . I've had exterminators in the past these were the worst of the worst I was very displeased!! I didn't want to even give them the one star

This business was at one time known to be top notch. Over the past several years, we have experienced the decline of their customer service, response, and overall professionalism. After paying a full year in advance (so we could receive the 10% discount), we have been charged the full amount two years running. This is eventually corrected, but only after lengthy phone calls with less than professional employees. Recieving poor service is always a hassle, but experiencing the decline of a local business that you had come to trust makes it even worse. We suggest that you take the time to find an alternative to this company. Best of luck!
