Our Landscape has been serviced by Fairway Lawns for several years now. When I interact with the technicians, they are always friendly, patient, and seem to know their business. Thanks Ryan Anderson for today's Round 2 treatment. 27 Mar 2026: Trees & Shrubs James Carver walked the entire property with me suggesting some maintenance that he felt would improve the health of the landscape plants. He treated the property with a granular fertilizer noting a couple of important things along the way. I was able to quickly prune a couple of hidden issues on an Azalea and our Sky Pencil Holly. He also sprayed our roses and ligustriums with an insecticide for afids and afid eggs. Really appreciate all his advice and assistance. Well done, James.

Avoid this company at all costs. I hired them several years ago and things went okay for the first one then a different employee would show up almost everytime and tell me he was the new guy, the yard started getting progressively worst after all the turnover. Then at one appointment the employee came to the door and told me that they were doubling the price to do the yards. I told him then and there that I will no longer be a customer, I called and left several messages on their phone and I never heard back from them. Then the sent another bill with the new pricing. I emailed and called, still no reply, but i think they got the message. Then 6 months later they pulled up and tried to service the yard, I stopped them right away and they claimed they must be at the wrong address. I have video of this. I emailed them again and sent them the video. Still no reply. No they are claiming I owe them for the service that I canceled and they did not provide. Buyer Beware. Do not hire them. Check yelp reviews, it looks like they pay google to hide negative reviews.

We have never doubled the price of our service, we have done small 3-5% annual increases over the past couple of years but never increased the price more than that. Just cancelled my recurring treatment with them. First 2 years as a customer were great. This year my treatments have all been 7 weeks apart, not the advertised 4-6 weeks. My yard was looking great but now it’s got weeds popping up. Called 2 weeks ago about my issue with the time between treatments and no one came out. So I hired Lawn Ace instead.

My experience with this company is not what I was hoping for. They tell my one thing and the exact opposite takes place. I’ve been in and out of the hospital this week and I just don’t have the strength to put up with them. I just want an easy well run lawn treatment and it doesn’t ever seem to happen. Now granted I’m not spending hundreds of dollars every month but it doesn’t matter what I’m spending. They’re the ones that came up with the price do what you said you do for the price you said you’d do it for and do it well.

TLDR; - No new customer onboarding. Had no idea what to expect / my part in the lawn care. - No timeframe on when the services will happen so you can't schedule your day. - Customer service on the phone says one thing, techs say another. - No voice confirmation for appointments like promised. I called, listened to their services, sounded great, price was great, so I signed up. Told them I do not want to start until I get back from vacation and was told someone would text / call first. First appointment happened while I was out of town. The only reason I knew about it is because I got the invoice after the fact and my security motion sensors went off. Not only did the first scheduling not happen like I was told but I am new to taking care of a lawn, and there was 0 customer onboarding. I did not know I had to water anything in to keep grass from burning. I did not know the proper length to cut to support growth. That information was given to me after I called and complained about the scheduling. Because of the initial scheduling issue, I was then signed up for a voice confirmation where they are supposed to call the business day before they come out. That never happened. For example, they text me (not called like they said they would) last Friday saying they were showing up today 5/19. No timeframe. No call. They showed up today while I was at the vet and I couldn't open the gate for them and had to reschedule. So they did not get my verbal approval like they said they would need before showing up, and with no estimated timeframe, I guess I was supposed to sit at the door waiting on them all day. I will say the 2 techs + the field manager I spoke with were very nice, but the call center is an absolute nightmare and where I had all of my issues. They tell you all of the right things, but somewhere between them and the techs, the complete opposite happens. Unfortunately, because of their call center, I canceled my services today and cannot recommend Fairway. When I called to cancel, they asked why and didn't even try to save me as a customer which really shocked me. That just showed me they do not care about me as a customer and they obviously do not care about good business.

I just contacted this company to report a spray done on my neighbors lawn. The chemicals were so strong that I could taste them. They also triggered my asthma. I was told to rinse my mouth out and have a good day. I'm going to assume that the chemicals were not mixed correctly and the concentration was to high. There is no such thing "as safe for people and pets" if there are improper concentrations.

I signed up with Fairway Lawn in Feb 2023. Regretfully. I had problems with Fairway from the start. I had weeds that needed addressing. After reaching out to Fairway Lawns for serval weeks into months I was told by their technician by text (Wed. August 16, 2023, 11:27 AM) that they completely forgot about my services due to personal reasons which ruined my lawn due to services not rendered. I paid in full for Shrubs control and they died. My new sod that I paid $4000 is brown/dead due to disease and lack of service by Fairway. I stated to the manager on September 14, 2023, I paid in full for grubs and fire ants’ control and was still having problems. The manager visited my property but did not do a complete inspection of my lawn, had he did he would have noticed these issues. The manager stated that all I wanted was free services when I asked for a complete refund, which was extremely rude ,disrespectful and hurtful. I stated that all I wanted was to be treated fairly with respect and to get the services/ results that was promised by Fairway. I mentioned to the manager when I first started my treatments that I couldn't take care of my lawn due to my medical disabilities. Fairway took advantage of me as a disabled Veteran and my medical sickness. I trusted them, and they failed me. They are very unprofessional dishonest and rude. I would not recommend Fairway Lawn they make excuses, poor service, then blame the customers and play the victim .

Service was good for 4 months until my most recent application when the technician over fertilized and created really bad fertilizer burn on about 40% of my front yard. It looks terrible, a real eye sore, and effectively diminishes the aesthetic appeal and thus potential monetary value of my home. I have engaged with customer service and asked to speak to an account manager to try to find a way forward with damages/restitution and all I got was a field manager suggesting I overwater to try to mitigate the effects of their burn. They offered to refund the next application (approx. $40) but my service is paid in full and it doesn’t cover the cost of grass repair or time spent watering. I gave this company 2 weeks to get back to me after notifying them of the issue but they are not living up to their standard of complete customer satisfaction. Fairway Lawns completely damaged my lawn and is offering no sensible compensation. I believe fair compensation should account for cost of materials and time required in attempting to repair this damage that Fairway Lawns is responsible for.

We’ve had service with Fairway Loans for three years and we have been satisfied up until recently. The service is sporadic and they changed our technician. Our previous technician was great at recognizing and treating weeds. We currently have more weeds than before we started service. Don’t even get me started on the trees and shrubs service. If someone replies, don’t gaslight me in your response. Just fix the problems that you know have arisen.

Update: I walked past 4 houses in my neighborhood that had all just been recently treated by Fairway Lawns. As you can see in the pics, the technician left fertilizer granules (the tiny white specs) in the gutter and did not clean up some even right next to a storm drain. This is how harmful chemicals get into our drinking water... I will not use a service provider who is sloppy and careless like them... Previous review: I called for an estimate because several of my neighbors use their service, I got a call yesterday from the technician saying they were going to be coming today and I asked what time they would be coming by because I wanted to speak with them. They said 11-2. So today I stayed home all day waiting for the technician to come by. My truck was parked in the driveway so I was clearly home, or at least it should been a clue that someone was home. After 2pm I walk out my front door to find that an estimate was left. I checked my doorbell to make sure it was working because no one rang my doorbell or knocked. I called their customer service number and explained that I had been waiting all day to see someone haven't even left my house to go get lunch. They say that shouldn't have happened thank me for letting them know and say they're going to talk to the tech and the manager. I get a call back from someone who assume is the manager and before I even explain or say anything the guy says I didnt know you wanted to meet in person and is already being defensive about his poor customer service. He goes on to call me rude because at this point I'm agitated by the clear lack of customer service given by presumably the manager. I'm told he can already tell I'm going to be a difficult customer and he is refusing to service me. The whole conversation could have went differently if instead of taking a defensive position from the onset of the call he simply apologized for the lapse in customer service and made arrangements to meet with me to discuss their lawn care service like I had wasted the entire day waiting to do. I'm so disappointed. Wasted a whole day and now I have to find someone else to treat my lawn.
