PIG PROBLEM INC. - Hog Hunting

First-Class South Georgia Hog Hunt Absolutely first-class operation from start to finish. The equipment was world-class—great rifles, optics, thermal gear, and everything was in excellent condition. Even the van and transportation were solid and well organized. We hunted two nights with our guide, Noah, and he worked his ass off for us. The first night the pigs simply weren’t cooperating. The second night was the exact opposite—pigs seemed to be in every field. Noah kept us moving, put us in position, and made sure we had a great experience. We ended up taking a 225-pound boar and a coyote, and somehow managed to miss another coyote—I’m still not entirely sure how. The highlight, though, was the whole experience. There isn’t much better than stalking a big hog through a South Georgia field in the middle of the night while the Perseid meteor shower is going off overhead. One of those nights you remember. Great people, excellent equipment, hardworking guide, and a ton of fun. Highly recommended. We’d absolutely do it again.

My son and I had an unforgettable experience together and we owe a lot of that to our guide Noah. This was our first hunt together and safety was my number one concern. From the very beginning, Noah demonstrated a passion for hunting but also safety. The hunt began slow even after spotting pigs early on but they were surprisingly elusive. After a few hours had passed, we began to wonder if we were going to find any to shoot. Noah was persistent in his pursuit of finding hogs and after waiting out bad weather, we finally located a large amount of them. My son was so excited and loved it so much, Noah continued on after the scheduled stop time. Even though there are several options closer to us, Pig Problem proved to be well worth the 5 hour drive.

My group of 5 guys were experienced shooters and pig problem got us on pigs and coyotes. Our guide Noah was talented and did a good job getting us opportunities to shoot. We wound up with 9 pigs and 2 coyotes over 2 nights. Rental guns are long and have heavy triggers but shootable and the ammo provided was plenty lethal. Hunts were long (and that is a good thing) pick up at 8am and we were back to the hotel between 5am and 6am.

Awesome time! Noah is a top notch guide. We were getting a little bummed not seeing any pigs, but he was very set on putting us on some. Took til almost 5 am but we finally got them! Was impressed with how well he went over all the equipment, and made sure we were all comfortable with everything. He takes his job and love for the hunt seriously and strives to give you the best hunt possible!

Our hunt with Jordan was an incredible experience. Safety was at the forefront of consideration as well as communication throughout the night. Every effort was made to ensure that this hunt was memorable and productive for my son and myself. Our guide Jordan was amazing knows what hes doing and got us on some hogs and put in some work getting to them but all worth it supporting local farmers taking down these hogs destroying there crops 10/10 Hunt hope to come again 100% recommend Jordan as your guide

Max has an incredibly strong preparation program before heading to the field, which resulted in a safe yet rewarding night. While the pigs weren’t out much, the technology really keeps the interest level up throughout the night and helps sustain your anticipation. We were able to harvest a few, but only had one group we could put the stalk on, while another group was seen, but on a farm we couldn’t access. Sounded like a tough night for the rest of the teams that were out hunting that night as well; we would plan to hunt with Pig Problem again.

Went out last year with Max as our guide, had a blast and came back for a second year! Jordan was our guide this time! Had an absolute blast! Got a handful of hogs! 1000% recommend going out with them! You better have a good sence of humor to handle these guys!!!

We had the most amazing hog hunting experience with Clay! It was such a wild and unforgettable adventure from start to finish. Clay was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and made the whole experience exciting and fun. What really stood out was how great Clay was with the kids. He took the time to explain everything, made them feel included, and turned it into such a special memory for our family. You can tell he truly loves what he does and wants everyone to have a great time. If you’re thinking about going hog hunting, I highly recommend going with Clay. He made the whole experience worth it and we’ll definitely be back!

Absolutely wonderful hunting experience. I have lots of experience and thermal hunt pigs and coyotes on my own frequently. Max has the most complete setup I’ve ever seen. Top notch gear, comfortable spacious vans and excellent guides. We hunted with Luke. He was extremely accommodating and helped me get my 9 year old set up several times for excellent shot opportunities. It made my life so much easier and I was able to have the best hunt I’ve ever had. 2 adults and one kid bagged 14 hogs and probably a few more that made it into the swamp. I will hunt again self guided, but I’ve already told Max I am coming back next year to hunt with him. Can’t recommend enough.

Had a great time hunting with Pig Problems. Very professional guys. Safe, knowledgeable, and rocking some pretty cool equipment. The van was decked out with thermal camera to scan fields as we drove. Blacked out and comfortable. Can’t beat it. Once we got on the pigs, our guide Luke was all business. We quickly got set up and were laying em down. We got 3 the first night. We probably could have done better but we had a few clinks and clacks as we got set spooking off the larger group….. probably 20-30 pigs… When out of nowhere a smaller group entered the field which we succeeded in punching holes in them! Good time. The following evening started out slow but Luke spotted a good group of pigs down wind of us in a field. We jumped back in the van and got around them. Luke told us to keep up! We hiked a few hundred yards at a decent pace and turned that place into a war zone! So much fun. We ended up with 10 pigs that night. I’ll definitely be back to enjoy some post deer season fun!

Would highly recommend pig problems for anybody that is looking for a great hunt.Max and The guys work hard to put you on pigs. They take the time to make sure that you are safe and comfortable with the firearms before the hunt start’s to the end of the hunt. I have hunt with max for the pass five years in will continue to hunt with pig problem.Also Wes work hard to put us on the pigs. Great job Wes thanks see you guys next year.

Best thermal hog hunt available. The system that is in place made the experience feel safe for friends that haven't been down before. The standards haven't changed from one guide to the next. Aways appreciate the pregame snack shopping before the hunting starts. I will go again.

Two nights - got nine. A few things to add value and create a higher end experience. #1 - fill up the van with gas and set camera up before you pick up customers. Both nights forced to sit there while he got gas, my time is money and we could’ve used that time to be hunting. 2- would be a nice up sale to package with dry ice and ship the meat back for the customers. 3- should put a ladder with the standing platform on top of the van so the guide doesn’t have to walk into the field and climb up on rig. 4 - it’s dangerous walking through Fields with no lights, especially cornfields. Would be a nice upgrade to have thermos or red lights for the hunters. #5- the guide should carry extra filled magazines and clean guns… The first night two of the three guns jammed, and my gun ran out of bullets once, van was 300 yards away. Guide cleaned guns for 10mins and some more time to fill the magazines… Would also have backup magazines ready to go so we can keep moving and hunting. I hope this helps, overalls we had a good time.
