I have edited my review. This company turned out to be terrible. Jason is no longer with the company and since he left, I have not had service. Mike, the owner in CA does not return emails, texts or calls. I am being charged and not receiving service! We are having pest issues and we cannot get anyone to come out to service the house even though we paid for service, CRAZY! Going to contact the bank tomorrow.

First, dont pay $ them in advance, you’ll probably never see them. They never showed up for our scheduled appointment, and I left work early to be there. I never received a confirmation a few days prior, which I thought was unusual, so I called and texted the day of the appointment to confirm but never received a response. About an hour and a half after my scheduled appointment time, I received a text saying they were at a job that ran too long. Regardless, this felt very unprofessional and unreliable. I also noticed several other negative reviews mentioning similar issues of them not showing. I found them on Groupon, and they wanted payment upfront before even coming out for the service. I declined because I preferred to meet face-to-face, have them do a walkthrough, and provide a proper quote. Luckily, I did not pay $ in advance!!! Just don't! There are too many reliable companies out there to choose from, and they really need to improve their communication and professionalism. I ultimately decided to go with a well-known, reputable company instead.

I’ve used Blue Door Pest Control for over a year and was very happy when Jason was servicing our home. However, apparently Jason isn’t with the company anymore and no one has been coming to my home for the last 3 months and I’ve still been charged $54 per month. Recently I found out that Blue Door is NOT licensed and that the owner sub contracts his work out to contractors which is fine, but when they can’t find a contractor to cover your service, he still charges when no one comes. He is a one man show that isn’t licensed. I feel that this is dishonest and he owes me 3 months of services charged when no one has come.

Prepaid and bought a Groupon. These people do not answer. My voucher said to email for appointment which I didn't like. Ignored my email. I had to Google them and then tried calling them. Left them a voicemail. Did not return my call or voicemail. I tried to text them the next day. Introduced himself as Mike and replied and asked what my voucher number is, gave me a day but not a time that he would come out, and then never replied again. Ghosted. Attempted to reach out 3x after that. No response. Now I'm trying to get my money back.

Blue Door Pest Control was able to come out and inspect my mom's house in less than 24 hours and at no charge. They were timely and communicative. Fortunately no major issue and they didn't try to sell me on a service I didn't need. I'll definitely call them first next time I need an inspection or treatment!

Excellent service! Pest free since they started. Dave and Jason are very nice and listened to my concerns. At the first visit, suggestions were made on type of treatment and then what to follow up with if I continued to have problems. Never needed secondary treatment to eliminate the original issue. Maintenance is on schedule and they are very considerate of time and space.
