Tented my home and never got rid of termites let alone other bugs. Price is cheaper than competitors for a reason. Now I need to pay more for another company to do it right.

Worst Customer Service, We had a very bad experience this weekend with Krypton Pest Control. The customer service was extremely poor. They tented the house on Friday and were supposed to remove the tent on Saturday, to return Saturday night, they didn't appear and we had to call to get status. The process was fragmented and poorly managed, with no cohesive end-to-end service. We were left waiting, impacted by their lack of accountability and basic courtesy. To make matters worse, a rude inspector showed up on Sunday treating us unprofessionally and with unacceptable behavior. Do not recommend this company

These guys are the best. So, we had to tent my mother’s home and her tenant in the back had the property in horrible condition with food everywhere. He did not comply with the requisites of krypton. Raul of krypton is a lifesaver. He literally worked his ass off for three hours helping this tenant who is, a bona fide hoarder remove food items from the home. The tent was put up on the day promised and the services were spectacular. Raul is an incredible human being. I will recommend krypton to everyone. I attached pics of what Raul of Krypton walked into and how they got there up.

I wouldn't recommend Krypton Pest Control to anyone. I rather pay extra money for a real professional service to have peace of mind rather than to deal with the hassle and headache I went through with this incompetent and unprofessional company. From management, sales, scheduling, to service; the worst service and experience ever. The only two things they are very efficient and good at is making up excuses for their bad service and for their incompetency, and to charge your credit card account immediately.

I contacted Krypton Pest Control and requested the name of their general liability insurance company to verify coverage as they were insisting on me signing a damage disclaimer (roof, fence, lawn, etc). They provided a Certificate of Liability Insurance with the insurance company name whited out, claiming it was to "preserve data integrity." When I asked for the Insurance Company name again, they refused and abruptly declined to offer their services as they were "no longer interested". This raised concerns about their transparency and whether their insurance is even valid. It seems they prefer customers who don't ask questions and sign everything fed to them blindly. I believe it's important to work with companies that are open and transparent. Krypton Pest Control did not meet these standards. UPD: Sir, I am in receipt of your response to my review. From the beginning of our communications, I requested basic information about your insurance carrier and policy number to perform standard due diligence. Your claim that I am "not entitled" to such information because I was not yet a customer is both laughable and concerning. The name of your insurance company is not "privileged" or "proprietary" information – it is public information that any reputable company would freely provide to assure potential customers of their legitimacy. Your justification of protecting "data integrity" and the integrity of your vendors is nothing more than a thinly veiled bait and switch tactic. Everyone understands that basic insurance information is standard practice and necessary for due diligence. Refusing to provide this information raises serious questions about your transparency and credibility. You mentioned that Krypton Pest Control has been in business for 40 years and is licensed by the Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (DACS). Being in business for 40 years does not imply maintaining a good reputation as a company. Furthermore, being licensed by DACS does not imply your company is impeccable. In fact, your company has multiple violations and fines imposed by the Department of Agriculture. This information is public and contradicts your baseless claims of being a reputable company. Showing proof of insurance is not proprietary information; consumers have the right to see it without you hiding key public information on the standard form. The way you turned around and suddenly became "no longer interested" in providing service after I simply asked for legitimately public information about your company clearly indicates that you are on the lookout for customers who do not ask questions or demand transparency. This behavior is not indicative of a company that values integrity and customer trust. It is a clear sign that potential customers should stay away. I hope future potential clients see this for what it is and seek out companies that are open, honest, and truly reputable. This is what transparency is all about.

The receptionist is uncouth and the owner can care less about his longterm clientele! I used their services in 2018 and paid a yearly renewal for 4 years. They cracked tiles on my roof and i let it slide. Had a death in the family, my renewal lapsed, and they refused to honor my payment the next month. I called 5 times asking to speak with the owner and he wouldn't even take my calls or bother to call me back! Four years of paid renewals down the drain and not even a call back! I suggest you choose a more professional outfit for your extermination needs.

Company was very dishonest. They said the tent will be up for about 48 hours, from Friday Morning to Sunday. They installed the tent Friday at 10.30 PM and removed it Saturday at 11.00 AM. This amounts to 12.5 Hrs, which is less than the 48 hours they said they'll provide. This is not enough time for the gas to be effective. This company also said they won't harm my landscaping by placing the tent behind it, yet when I got home all my landscaping was dead, easily $800 worth of plants. This company never announced that they cleared the house for use, although it seems like they did clear it, as there was a paper on the door. We were never notified. The company was unresponsive after my several attempts to find out if they had cleared the house and where they had left the key. Do not use this company. Update / Response to owner. Thanks for reaching out and confronting the situation, always speaks good of a business to do this. I have follow up questions, you mention that day 1 the structure is tented, does this imply that 24 hours is the adequate period? As I mentioned, my house was tented for 12.5 hours. Do you consider this period to be sufficient to meet the goal of the fumigation? As a clarification the inspector that cleared the property NEVER reached out and NEVER gave anyone the keys. It took me hours to get his phone number on Monday, especially since Santiago turned off his phone saying that clear of properties was not his problem. When I reached out to the inspector, who did do the clear on Saturday, he told me where he had hidden the keys. Finally, is Krypton going to take responsibility for the damage to my landscaping? Santiago said there won’t be damage to my 20 podocarpus plants in the front of the house, since the tent will be placed behind them, but then it was placed over the plants and killed them. There might have been a misunderstanding regarding the 48 hour aspect of a tent - but all tenting process is as follows: 2 1/2 days total, day 1 structure tented, day 2 tent comes off and aeration period begins, day 3 structure will be cleared and customer is allowed to re-enter property. Also note all tents carry a one year warranty, therefore if you see evidence of termites within that year, you are covered by Krypton Pest Control to re-fumigate NOT spot treat. The inspector that does the clear of the properties was very clear when he reached you to give the property keys back to you, although there was some confusion as to the date/time on your end. Where to begin? Communication is one, but not the only flaw for this company. First thing's first, the initial meeting, the rep was late. It was a Saturday, so the traffic excuse is more difficult to swallow, but a simple phone call with the status of their ETA would have been appreciated. Living in South Florida, I have been through a couple of previous tentings. The representative was not very informative in what was expected from us prior to the tenting day. Simple questions like if fish should be removed he had two answers: The company that creates the gas says you should remove the fish, then he gives you a wink and says, but they should be OK. The representative said they would be passing by on a specific day to collect payment information and to hand us bags where we may store some items that would not be affected by the gas. The representative came and went and never knocked on my door, claiming I was not home (even though, I work from home). They did not knock because there was no car directly in front of my house. On the day of the tenting, the representative arrived on time and gave us some last-minute directions on which wood fence planks had to be removed in order to correctly pass the tarp through the property. Those exact planks were removed and all surrounding plants in that area. The actual tenting crew was around three hours late. I understand that things out of your control may happen, i.e weather, but a simple phone call telling us a status on their ETA would have sufficed. We called several times and the time kept getting pushed back. While the tenting crew was here, the manager called the office to have the following client informed that they would need to cancel their appointment for today. We handed our keys over to the manager, he did the walk-through of the house to verify we were not leaving anything behind, i.e. food, pets, medicine. When we returned to our property we found out that the route the rep advised us the tent would be taking was changed. Because of this, plants that were more than 10 feet away from the initial tenting path were gassed and killed. I understand plans change and the tenting manager most likely had no choice but to move where the tent eventually laid. However, if your company tells me one thing and you change set course, then I believe you should have done the customer courtesy and move the two pots that were now in harm's way. One thing is if I left it in the way after you told me, but you changed the route of the tent. Plants that were up to 12 feet outside of the tent wall were affected. I have images to confirm this. The good news is most of them came back. Please do your research on any company that will be looking after your property. There are plenty of companies that tent for termites in South Florida, pick another one. I don't want to hear a response from the company to try and point out discrepancies. Everything in this testimony is 100% accurate with evidence to back it up. P.S: I also have a video of one of the workers relieving himself on my front lawn. Go elsewhere.

Buyer beware...We did not use their services. This is purely based on the call back phone service from the inspector Robert. We asked for the ‘free termite inspection’. He was extremely rude. He crassly said without inspecting that we needed a tent and that the Krypton Pest company only does tenting for termites. We mentioned that we had an estimate from Orkin and it didn’t require tenting. He said they weren’t Orkin’s and they only do tenting. Well in the rude manor he spoke and the misrepresentation of the services offered on the website. I would not ever give this business my money nor recommend them to anyone. Per the website verbatim : We offer the following termite removal and control services in Miami, Florida: Tent fumigation services, spot treatment pest control, subterranean and drywood termite treatments, termite baiting, boat treatment fumigations, Real Estate Pest Control Services, pre-construction soil treatments, Bee Removal Services in Miami and Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Stay away from this company!!! Hired them to tent my mobile home. Stressed the difference in construction form single family homes and was told not to worry we do this all the time. When I arrived to see the property after completion I had major ceiling damage. When I addressed this with them they said that it wasn't them and that they had let someone go up on the roof and it must have been them. After checking on their story and confirming it was false I continued to pursue management. They did not take my problem seriously and it took 3 days before I was told someone was coming out to see me. I was expecting an administrative manager based on the seriousness of the situation. Instead they just sent out a crew manager. He was very rude and showed no concern for my issue and then went on too lie and state the property was fine when they left. Do yourself a favor and stay far away from this company.

Our number one priority is to continuously provide the utmost professional service with respect to our customers. That said, your review is unjustly making accusations without stating proper facts and/or giving correct accounts of what ensued. We have, and continued to work with customers who own mobile homes, we do have experience in set-up and care. That being said, it is the customers responsibility to advise of unstable/unsafe structure for not only our employees’ safety but the customers as well, which at no time was declared. As mentioned, we had only one employee on the roof, there was no other person on the roof structure at time of fumigation and/or clear. When the job was completed and the tent removed, the mobile home was cleared and fans removed, there was no visible damage noted to the ceiling at that time either, no damage to any cabinets, hanging drywall, falling or torn, both on the exterior or interior. The following day (day 3) when the clear was completed, we inspected and again there was no damage to the ceiling. Note that we were given instructions to leave the key in the provided lock box at time of clear, there was no instructions to hand/turn key over to Mr. Goodman. Coincidentally later that day when speaking with Mr. Goodman there was never any mention of any physical type of damage whatsoever to the mobile homes ceiling to the magnitude noted on review. If Krypton would have caused such an extensive damage to the interior ceiling, we are sure that Mr. Goodman would have made it quite clear to Krypton at that time. Furthermore, Mr. Goodman clearly said that there was no holes on the ceiling, and never mentioned any type of damage to cabinets. When our Service Manager attempted to go into the home for an inspection of the claimed damages, he was not allowed to go in and inspect, was told that he was remodeling and could not go in to verify his claims. The photos where sent days after the tenting was completed and cleared. Krypton in good faith has done everything within reason to accommodate Mr. Goodman’s requests, even though they were unfounded and without justification. I used Krypton 7 years ago and was happy with the service. I needed a termite tenting again this year and contacted Krypton. The sales rep who came out, JAMES, insisted on "double checking" Krypton's own Cubic Footage calculation, even though I showed him the contract from last time. Sure enough, it came out to a much higher CF than their own previous calculation and other companies. James then quoted me a 50 PERCENT HIGHER COST than last time. 50% higher! And I had the same day referred a friend who signed up for their service! No referral credit, instead a 50% COST INCREASE. I asked the rep who did the quote to have a supervisor call me, and no one called. I chose another company with great reviews who had a reasonable CF calculation and quote. Beware. Update Mar 23, 2019: I just read the response stating the square footage is the same on both quotes (?), which is not what my paperwork from them shows. If Krypton challenges this, I will simply upload the images for all to reference. Either they are making this up, do not have good records, or do not have quality control with records on file versus what is given to clients. Either way, terrible. My assessment is validated. :( Good luck.

Krypton claims that it offers a one-year warranty, but when we called them back because of a return of termites, they are making excuses to not cover us. Now they're saying that we have subterranean termites, which aren't covered in the warranty and they have to have the termites tested by the State to confirm the type of termite before they would be willing to honor the warranty. When they originally tented our home, they never bothered having the termites tested - they were very quick to say we needed their tent services. This is unprofessional and misleading. Also, the warranty document does NOT list any differences in termites that are covered. Oh, and conveniently, the company offers the treatment for the subterranean termites, which is very pricey and not covered - but they are fully prepared to make more money off of us for this different process. These discussions were all with the owner of the company, Nelson, so this problem comes from the top - not from a sales rep. I will be seeking legal counsel on this. I DO NOT recommend this company and will be spreading this word immediately. As a follow-on, a manager just called me and said they did not test the termites the first time they contracted with me because I "didn't ask for an inspection. I only asked for an estimate." so he's trying to say that I invested the time and money to tent my house without having received an inspection to confirm that I had termites. I am 100% certain that Krypton confirmed I had termites - why would anyone tent their home if they were not certain they HAD to?! AND, why would a company charge for and provide a service that they did not confirm was needed? This speaks even more poorly of this company. I'm very disappointed in the service. I fully understand that termites can return the very next day after tenting. I have not once complained about the return of termites. I'm simply stating the facts of the poor customer service being provided as a follow-on to the original service. Even if the test comes back and shows that we do have the type of termites covered by the warranty and they follow through with the re-tenting, the way Krypton has handled this situation is extremely unprofessional and not at all focused on ensuring customer loyalty.

Staff is friendly but that’s where it ends. My property got spot treatment by them in Sept 2017. Ever since termites have reappeared twice. (Not their fault but this where the poor service begins) When it reappeared the 1st Time the process took about 1 month to get them to come out . You have to keep calling and following up with them constantly to get the job done . On top of that the person who came to reinspect did not want to go into my roof where I suspected they reappeared. He kept assuring me it’s not up there when I felt different. But how could he even know without checking ???? He had bad knees and clearly it stopped him from doing an efficient job. Sure enough they reappeared again 4 months later and this time I see them swarming out the attic. I called on 4/6/17 to report it and it is now 5-8-17 with no treatment. It’s getting worse. It got reinspected on 4/24/17- this time with that inspector checking and finding the attic needing treatment BUT we are still waiting for the spray . I never experienced this type of service when we used Orkin. Only used Krypton because their warranty came with the house . We were hopeful and positive but nope they ruined it. Management/Owner needs to do better before they loose all their business. I would not recommend
