Bill Grey did an excellent and thorough job of inspecting our entire crawlspace, both inside and outside the house and took care of all of the problem areas. He was friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain both his proposal and review all the work performed. We will be sure to call Bill for any future exterminating needs.

I highly recommend ABC Exterminating! Billy was at our house within a few hours after calling to remove bees that nested inside our house. He was a true professional… Very calm and reassuring that the treatment would be completely effective. It was an excellent experience from start to finish!!

Our Technician Walter Jofre was very knowledgeable and thorough, he explained everything as he treated our home. Walter was also very personable and went above and beyond. ABC Exterminating is fortunate to have him as an employee. Although based in Milford ABC did service my home in North Branford. I would highly recommend their services to anyone.

After reading positive reviews about ABC I called to inquire about different options for service and cost. I spoke at length to the woman that answered the phone. She scheduled for Bill to come out over a week later. When I called the day before to confirm time I started to get the run around . Apparently Bill had forgotten to put my appointment in his schedule. She said she’d call me back after speaking to him but never did I had to follow up two more times. The last time she said he’d be there as scheduled but she’d text me the time by the end of the day. Never texted, never called, never showed up! Very disappointed! 7/29/25 Had to come back and update my review. I originally expressed disappointment in the service I experienced but since then Bill and the new office staff have been apologetic and explained the misunderstanding. Bill has come out as promised and did a thorough assessment and gave me a reasonable quote. I would recommend them going forward!!

They always provide quick service, I called them late morning and the Technician was there the same afternoon and treated the in ground wasp nest!!

Terrible experience. I reached out to them for two different services for a rental property I own. The first service was to spray for centipedes. Not only did the spraying not help, the problem actually got worse while the were "servicing" the units. The other area I asked for some assistance with was rodents. They but boxes outside and came monthly for a year. I finally told them that the plan was not to have these boxes forever and to remove them. They milked the service entirely too long. In retrospective, they probably would still be coming for something that was no longer necessary had I not put an end to it. The worst of it though, was that they moved locations and did not inform me. When I noticed my check was not deposited for the month of June, I called to inquire why. That's when I found out they moved locations without informing me and my check was lost. Needless to say, I had to stop payment on the initial check and my bank charged me a $30 fee. I issued another check to ABC Exterminating and deducted the $30 bank fee from the total as I did not feel it was fair for me to have to eat the cost given they should have notified me that they were moving locations. I also verbalized this concern to the receptionist who said that she did not have the authority to over ride this. I asked her to speak to someone who did have the authority and did not get the curtesy of a phone call back despite being told that a manager would call me. Instead, I received another bill this past week and when I called to re-explain, they would not budge or be held accountable for their mishap. I own two successful businesses and would not hold a client responsible for my mistake. That's insult to injury. Needless to say, I will not be calling them in the future and do not recommend their services to anyone who is looking for a competent exterminating company. Not only were their services completely useless, they made a mistake and held me responsible with absolutely no regard.

Have used ABC for last 4-5 years. Pay a monthly fee for them to co e here and spend 10-15 min every 3 months. Have called for emergency device in the past but today they wanted to charge me over $160 to spray bees in a bush (not honey bees). When I said we paid for this service I was told we never had it done before (we did- 2 years ago before they were sold). Sadly leaving. Why would I pay monthly for what they do every 3 months, spray foundation. We can do that ourselves

Decided not to go with the pros although I am sure they are very good. Easier (and far less expensive!) to set our own traps. We used Victor electronic traps. They worked great! No poison, no 'caught like a rodent in a trap', just dead mice, electrocution Style, good old Sparky.

No call back. One month later after leaving 3 messages...I took them off my list. ● They must not want my business or need my money. Next!

Overall good experience. We had Bill help us a couple years ago when we had a hornet's nest in our front yard. He was on time, professional, and even charged us less than the estimate when he determined the work was not as difficult as initially suspected. Rare to find someone who does that these days. So when we had another hornet's nest pop up on our back roof line we had ABC come out again, though Bill was not the one to do the work. They came on time and got the job done. Only suggestion would be to take a couple extra minutes and scrape the nest remnants off of the trim and siding as the worker left a decent amount of visible debris that does not come off with rain. Otherwise happy with the work.
