I used guardian pest control for years and the service was fantastic. Now, they have been bought out by modern pest control, the starting costs are $500 per package and the phone customer service is horrible. Nothing can be done about it I've been told except go to a different pest control company.

New tech was very well trained and hit all spots
I've deleted my prior review and upgraded my evaluation, because I didn't feel that my prior review accurately reflected Guardian Pest Control's excellent commitment to exceptional customer service. To recap, after my routine monthly service visit was performed a few days ago, I reached out to them to voice some concerns about the way their service tech managed his visit. They responded promptly to my concerns, and came back out to repeat their treatment of our property. Their follow up visit was much more typical of the quality of service that I'd become accustomed to over the last 8 or 9 years that they've provided their services to me. In those roughly 100 or so monthly visits, this was the one and only time that I'd ever had a concern. The other 99 times, their service has been exemplary, and in retrospect, I wanted my review to focus more on all of the great service that they've provided over the years, rather than this lone glitch that occurred. In today's day and age, it's rare that any company would provide service with a 99+% approval rating, which is what my experience has been, and what I wanted my review to more accurately portray. I can and would unequivocally recommend this company to anyone, because the real mark of a quality company is not that they provide perfect service 100% of the time, but how they respond to the situation if a concern is raised by a customer. Kudos to Mr. Markowich for the high service standards that he provides for his customers!

I'm sorry for your flea issue but as we mentioned, the two times we came out to perform service, there is a lot of stored items that your tenant has making it very difficult for us to do a proper treatment. We notified you and your tenant of this on your service invoices. We can't continue to come out and perform services at no charge. I am sorry. Fred
Josh is always personable and helpful. He's very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. He was here for foundation spray to deter pests, but also came inside and emptied and reset any traps that needed tending.
I’m a little late in sending out a thank you to Josh at Guardian Pest Control for his visit on October 1. He has been here a few times and has always been thoughtful and professional every time. I’m always grateful for your help Josh!

5 months going for a treatment against roaches but nothing is effective. Reasons were the tenants are not clean but none of them found out apartment were in dirty conditions. I think I am going to cancel my subscription. I am tired of this ineffectiveness. They said after 4-5 application I should be all set but when you bring to their attention that the treatment is not working compared to other service provider you use for similar service at different locations...it is always the same shit ...I have been doing this for 15+ or whether it's 25yrs...this is irritating.

You are not a customer of ours
The technician was efficient and polite. My only concern was that he seemed rushed and sprayed my foundation in record time, so not sure if enough pesticide was applied. If the ants come back, it's great that they will come back too at no charge.

If I could leave zero stars I would. I've paid for their service since 2021 and a couple weeks ago the technician came and parked in front of my house and drove off. Caught on camera! I was charged for the service and called Customer Service and they told me they would get me a different technician and not charge me for the service seeing I was charged for the previous service that never happened! Well today I was charged for the service which I was supposed to. I spoke to the receptionist and she refused to reimburse me. The owner was supposed to call me and never did. Very poor customer service. People, watch your cameras because you're more than likely getting charged for service that didn't get done. I filed a complaint with the BBB and I'm contacting the Attorney General. Very unhappy with this Company and the way I was treated!

Not warranty that they are able to get rid of the problem. Too much money for the same thing I doing already at home.

Sorry to hear that. We have 5 people in the office from 7am to 5pm m-f and 8-12 on Saturdays. Any messages left after hours are immediately send to an on call technician so I'm not sure what happened but I will look into it. Fred
