I had an ant spray by another company, but was suddenly seeing more ants (after only 4 weeks). Contacted Ventura Pest via their online form, and received both a call and email from Ryan! After explaining my situation, Ryan dispensed some free advice to try Terro ant bait. It worked! I can highly recommend Ventura Pest for their excellent service. (FYI..we had used them in the past for ant control, and were always pleased)

Jeremy is a great communicator and explains what he’s doing in detail. He always takes the time to treat any bug or rodent concern I mention. He always closes and locks my gate when he leaves which I appreciate. Great service at a great price.

Our great family owned pest control sold their business to Ventura Pest Control so we were forced to be their customers. It was downhill from the beginning. Less personal, less courtesy when a technician arrived. Just got bills in the mail and no communication. Final straw was a technician showed up without alerting us, never rang the doorbell so we could keep our dog from going outside and started "spraying" a few areas in our front yard. Never went to the backyard. Spent about 4 minutes on the property, which was verified by our security cameras. Seemed to have issues even driving away. Immediately canceled our account and visits. Never heard anything from Ventura. Then, edited together a video with multiple angles of the techniican's service so owner called to apologize. Still got 2 bills in the mail following that so had to call and tell someone to close our account and we're not paying. We paid over $100 per visit! Never would hire this outfit again.
Terrible drivers, unaware of their surroundings. At least 3 bad encounters where they nearly caused accident(s) related to myself, several friends & a family member. 👎
DON'T HIRE THEM If you have a rodent issue and are considering hiring Ventura Pest, please read this to the end before you get scammed. I moved into a new property and had a problem with rodents, so I did a quick Google search and called these guys. They scheduled someone to come and inspect the property. The technician showed up, and for 30 minutes I gave him a tour around the house, showing him where I heard the noise. I then took him to the garage and guided him to the attic to show him how the vents run in the house so he could pinpoint where the rats were coming from. At the end of the inspection, he wrote a report with the work to be done (setting traps and sealing holes) and had me sign it so he could start working. By the way, the contract specified a 30-day warranty. Anyway, after I gave him the tour and signed the paperwork, he went back inside and asked me, "Where would you like me to place the traps?" Yeah, that's right—the guy with zero experience or knowledge about rodents is supposed to tell the "experts" where to put the traps? He then went outside and sealed some holes around the house. Even after his work was done, the rodents kept coming. I ended up buying $2 traps off Amazon, placed them around the house, and caught five rats, while his traps caught nothing inside. I dealt with rats for about three months after they came, until I finally figured out the root of the problem myself. They charged me a ridiculous amount of money and never honored the 30-day warranty that was in their contract. Do not hire them—they don’t do their due diligence to address the root of the issue. All they do is set useless traps and charge you 75 times their value (I am not exaggerating). Having rodents in the house is very stressful and these guys made it even more stressful for me. Again, DON'T HIRE THEM
If I could give this company zero stars I would. Clear instructions like call before service are completely ignored. Service is not completed properly. I've given this company 3 separate chances to get it together and complete the one thing I ask for every service, and it could not be done. I yet again have had a random technician show up to my house UNANNOUNCED! An appointment was never made in fact, I cancelled all services 5 days prior and a man STILL SHOWED UP, WITHOUT A CALL COMPLETELY UNANNOUNCED. Stay away from this awful company, awful communication, inability to follow simple instructions and over-priced!
This company bought out my old company which Robinson pest control which I had for over 19 years of wonderful service. In the five months that Venture Pest control has been servicing my home there had always been with spiders. When you call they never return your calls and when I canceled their service all they cared about was the balance due never asked me why I was cancelling. My advise look for someone else.
This review is in regards to customer service, since the actual service was never performed. Our technician, Tom, was 2 hours late. No call, no heads up. When he showed up my wife was the only one home with our daughter and he was incredibly rude. My wife works from home at times and had a meeting that day, which is why we set up the appointment when we did. My wife informed him that we would have to reschedule due to his tardiness. To which he replied with a demand to clear out our cabinets in 10 minutes so he could perform his tasks. Terrible customer service and practice.

Must have sniffed too much bug spray can't even use turn signals and cut people off

Our HOA has had them for years and we've always had continued pest problems. When I called for a monthly report of what they are spraying and where? (State law required) They said they would get back to me and have since given me the "run around." Meanwhile, our complex is infested with ants... in the winter!
Called to get service. Got a voicemail and there voicemail box is full, so can't leave a message. Don't seem to eager for business.
I called Ventura Pest Control on Monday May 2, 2016. I spoke with a girl at the desk. She said Wendy was not in and could I call back on Tue. I did and spoke with Wendy. She had an older heaver set guy over and he told me he'd be back at noon on Wed and do the job. No show for Wed. I called and spoke to Wendy again. She asked me to hold on and she would call the guy on his cell. She came back and said he did not answer and was having problem"s with his car. I said I understand and said he'd be here Thur and again no show. Today is Friday May 6, 2016 and I called Wendy again but at 10:30 am she was at lunch. I just told the girl on the phone to put my pre-payment back in my bank and canceled the services. I would never recommend Ventura Pest Control to anyone. Sorry, but please do the work promised and stop keeping people from waiting. Remember we all have cameras around our houses and know if you were there. No such luck.. Allen
