Broke my brand new garage door and refused to admit fault or pay for damage

I never thought I would find myself writing a glowing review for a termite service, but I loved working with Jacob and his team so much that I had to put it in writing. I met Jacob during my inspection period before buying my house - he is cheery, professional, on-time and thorough. In his inspection, he found significant damage to my roof and his quote included fumigation to treat the root cause (termites) as well as repairs to prevent future structural problems. This was my first time buying a home and I consider myself pretty handy. I also had a very tight budget after closing. All of these factors meant I was a slightly anxious client who had a LOT of questions. It also meant, I thought I could do some of the preparation and repair work myself and then realized I couldn’t. My plans changed a few times as we were scheduling and Flor, who schedules the appointments, was always kind, patient, flexible and solution-oriented. She answered all my questions and brought so much clarity to the process. We were able to get the job done within the timeframe she initially proposed (INCREDIBLE!) and I credit Flor’s knowledge, collaborative approach, and lovely, calm demeanor for making everything run so smoothly. She made me feel reassured and confident moving into fumigation and repairs! Don and Mr. Shin came to prepare the house for fumigation. They were both so sweet and - like Jacob - prompt, thoughtful and thorough. When the fumigation was finished, Mr Shin came back and made sure the house was left the better than they found it! He repaired the termite-damaged boards in the attic and reinforced the overhang on my roof with new boards. He even found the matching paint in my shed and painted them! It was a huge relief to have everything looking clean and nice and feeling very structurally safe. This team went above and beyond to do incredible work and deliver the best customer service. I can’t recommend them enough!

This review is actually a 5+++ star. Amazing customer service from the office (Flo-very professional and handles task quickly-efficiently) to servicing your home (Jacob and others), they go beyond customer satisfaction. Honestly, since the beginning of the pandemic this is one of the few remaining businesses that project high quality standards yet their prices remain reasonable, and you get way more for the price. My house was sprayed over 3 years ago for ants and I never experienced another ant raid in my kitchen. It’s been awhile since my house was serviced by this company (totally my fault), and I contacted the office on Friday, 9/16/24 in a panic after my daughter saw a silverfish in her room. I was grateful when Flo scheduled my house and my next door neighbor’s home that Monday. We were a bit unorganized when Jacob showed up to spray. However, he was patient-pleasant and reassured us that he would workaround the disaster and he did exactly as promised. My only suggestion for consumers is that you follow their instructions. For various reasons, I waited too long for servicing-years. However, I will NEVER miss a treatment again. On the other hand, my sister and mother follow Jacob’s recommended treatment plan and they don’t experience issues with indoor critters. So, whatever product Jacob uses, it’s magical. 😊

Jacob did a great job in helping us get rid of a German cockroach infestation in our home (south LA area). We had been dealing with it for months. We had tried everything to get rid of them with Advion gel, combat products, traps, etc. Jacob used his own specialized products (gel) and wiped them out. There was no need for tent fumigation. He provided great fast responsive service at a fair price. I totally recommend.

Jacob is incredibly knowledgeable and thorough. He explains your pest problem, the best way to treat it, what to expect with the treatment, and any follow up that is necessary. He is careful with the chemicals he uses and can explain how they work (this is a huge improvement from the big name guys we had previously used who pretty much had no idea what they were spraying). Love his honesty, know-how and transparency. Would highly recommend.

I have used Jacob's service twice now in the past two seasons. The summer brings out the ants, and the ants like to crawl into our bungalows on our community property. It's been a serious problem and really annoying to say the least! This service is awesome. They came back twice to do a top up on the house as the problem was extensive. That is also their policy. Within a month, if you're still having problems, they'll come back and inspect again and apply their solution. It's safe on plants and animals so no need to worry. After two years of a very bad ant problem, they solved the issue. I use them each year as the ant colonies rebuild within the 12 month period. Friendly service, fast and efficient. Responsive to phone calls! Professional.

On June 23, 2020 I received service from your Exterminators, JACOB TERMITE AND PEST CONTROL. Never in the 33 years since I've been a resident at my Complex have I been serviced by such a competent, and effective service! I haven't seen any pests since then...and it's been over a month! The building I live in uses Jacob Termite & Pest Control and I am so happy they do! They are always super responsive to any issues we have and communicate with us throughout the entire process. And the problem is always taken care of. Highly recommend!

If you have any pests in your house or around your home, Jacob is the man to call. He explains what he's doing to help you resolve the problem. If I have another pest invasion, I'm calling Jacob.

This company is super effective! They came in because my apartment started having roach issues when my neighbor moved out. They answered all my questions, and told me if I had any more issues after the treatment to give them a call.

Always call Jacob when I need pest control. I had a huge cockroach problem in my apartment and my management office brought some pest control guys to get rid of them but the roaches always came back. So I decided to call someone on my own and I found Jacob on google and yelp so I decided to use him because of his great reviews and I have to say he is hands down the best. The roaches never came back and when I moved to a new apartment I made sure he treated it before we moved in. HANDS DOWN THE BEST !!!!

What makes this company differ is the staff. Highly professional and efficient. I have them service the property I rent and boy am i pleased! They not only answer all your questions but also make you knowledgeable. I also appreciate that they have staff bilingual English and Spanish. Highly Recommend this company ......
