Bug Squad POW! Exterminating

I tried contacting Bug Squad five times over two weeks, including submitting a request through their website, but never received a response. Their lack of communication is extremely disappointing - very poor customer service. I’d recommend looking elsewhere.

We needed some roof tiles, painting and termite control in our house. Andy and his team did a very professional and thorough job in all three aspects of the repairs and at a very reasonable price. We are very pleased and highly recommend him.

The service in the beginning was awesome but when I asked for my refund it took them forever to give me my money as far as fees they charged me $200 which I feel wasn't fair I expect a full refund the same way I gave you the money it should be the same way I get it back

I've used POW! twice before with good results. This year, to get rid of my ants I obviously called them again. The price has gone up (which is fair) and they do spray the whole house for that price. However, I pointed out the problem area in my kitchen, and the very next day I had more ants than before. I waited a few days to see if the chemicals would take some time to work, but the ants kept coming. So I called back to see if they'd come out to just spray the one area of my kitchen that I pointed out originally as the problem area to get rid of the ants. They would, for a fee (and not a low one). Having to pay one-third of the total initial price of the whole house to have them come back and spray ONE area and actually eliminate the problem for a repeat customer is not good service IMO. It should have just been done right the first time. I'm disappointed in the company. I will look elsewhere in the future I guess.

I work out doors in the public service sector. Their technician saw me and couldn’t even give me a minute to finish my job and began spraying pesticides on a lawn while I was on Calle Alonso at the same time. Sure enough the wind picked up and I got hit in the face with their pesticides. That’s great your technician wears a mask so he can spray your poisons next to us. Very reckless and unprofessional. I came back to get the vehicle info but their big tech sped off because he knew he was being irresponsible.

Initially they were friendly and responsive, I had my house tented and my mothers house spot treated, they had came out to my mothers house one time to retreat but there is still significant amount of droppings, we are still finding termites and droppings at both houses, I have called them several times and sent pictures of the droppings and termites and they never call back or respond, the only time I can get ahold of them is when I call the office and I get the receptionist, the receptionist says they will give the message to the owner. I have Andy the owners number and before the treatment he would return my calls but now I leave messages and no return calls. I guess they got paid and are no longer worried about the customer.

Termite inspection was done by the owner Andy, who seemed really confident and reasurring. He however did none of the repairs or extermination (outsourced to a 3rd party). The repair work was so lackluster I had to ask them to come back 4 times. This included having another termite inspection by another company to tell Bug Squad how much dry rot they had missed. The first time they didn't even bother to probe around my house. The fillings were not smooth and we're not painted. Without me shadowing their contractors and micromanaging then, none of the repairs would have been done completely. Moreover, their tenting crew left a lot of trash, killed my plants and did not install back my backyard lights after the work. What was worst The termite extermination was incorrectly done a day early, which meant I couldn't enter my house and a bunch of my food went to waste. The only positive experience from all of this was that the team at their office was always responsive. (They deserve a shout-out)

They said originally they couldn’t make it out for 3 days. I told them that wouldn’t work as I had a house fly infestation. The owner, Andrew, was at my door within an hour to fix the problem personally!! Now THAT’S SERVICE! Highly recommend!

Have gone thru numerous Pest Control companies, but have stayed with these guys for quite a few years now. Only Pest Control company I recommend!

I am very pleased with the termite service that is being provided by Josh. Previously we had a service contract with another termite exterminating firm. Josh made a thorough inspection of our home and offered a service program that I believe is superior to the service provided by the other firm. Our attic was sprayed with timbor as a preventative measure against drywood termites and areas of the exterior ground were sprayed as a preventative measure against subterranean termites.

Great customer experience the whole way through. This is a family owned business and the owner, Andy, takes care to get the job done right. He and his team are really nice and super knowledgeable. We had our house tented and fumigated in no time. They helped us with prep and also repaired termite damaged wood around the house like new. Highly recommend them for anyone with termite or bug issues!

This company did a termite spray on my neighbor's home. In my opinion, they were very careless in that they sprayed so that this combination of Orange Oil and Timbor went into and around my home affecting my dog and myself. I could barely breathe and needed to use an inhaler and I still have a bad headache and sore throat 5 hours later. This guy should have let surrounding homes know that he was going to spray, especially if there are no walls or fences in parts they are spraying. He also could have been more careful when spraying. A simple Google search shows that humans and pets are affected especially if they are asthmatic. Wow, thanks Pow, you suck! WT L.Forest, CA
