Upon arrival the tech knocked on my door very very lightly as if he did not want to be heard.Technician spent less than 10-15 minutes servicing the home. We asked him to spray in some areas around the house, and instead of spraying under or around my furniture, he showed carelessness and sprayed the whole length of my couch on the back and front side. He completely skipped the back patio area near my sliding door. Overall he has been the least favorite tech that has been sent out.

Stay away from this company, I started their service in july, mainly switch over to them because they offered to sweep the spiderwebs off the exterior walls. My other pest control company did not offer that service. 2 to 3 weeks after their initial service We started noticing ants coming into our house and lots of spiderwebs all over our patio furniture. I called Moxie and they sent someone out. I talked to him about what needed to be done, he failed to do a major part of what I asked him to do, plus there are still spiderwebs all over the property. We were on a Bimonthly program, and it was just over a month since their first time out. I was told that if for any reason I needed them to come out before the second month that they would come out at no charge. Unfortunately, today when I called to cancel my service because I’m completely dissatisfied, they want to charge me the bimonthly fee and a $200 cancellation fee. I would not recommend Moxie Pest Control to my worst enemy !!! STAY AWAY FROM THEM

Terrible service and dishonest practices. The salesperson said there was no contract, but when I called to cancel, I was told it was a one-year agreement. Each service visit lasted about 5 minutes, just a quick walk around the house — no inspection or replacement of rodent bait boxes. We still see spiders and ants even after treatments. Trying to cancel the service was a nightmare. They kept transferring my calls, hanging up, and even charged my account without my consent. When I finally reached a manager and explained that I was moving and wanted to cancel, they hung up without confirming anything. This company is extremely unprofessional and misleading.

I didn’t use their service but am Reviewing this specific employee. whoever drove this car #36 on 10/15/24 in Winchester,CA was speeding like a mad man inside the community I live in during school drop off hour! To make it worse they weren’t even paying attention to the road as I had to honk my horn to get the driver to look up from their phone so he can move over onto his side of the road or else he would have rammed into me head on, once he noticed he proceeded to fly by me going easily 35-40mph.

For one, Their flea treatment does not work. And what I dislike most about this company, they give less than 24 hours notice when they’re coming over. Since they give very little notice, they messaged they were going to spray my yard. I was out of town for a couple of days. I called no one answered and I left a message and emailed them not to spray my house the following day, since I have my cats outside and I’m out of town. They didn’t check their messages. I called that morning again, finally got a hold of someone. The girl on the phone told me it’s ok if my cats get sprayed. Really?! Because the service guys told me the cats should be indoors to avoid getting sprayed. Instead of it being a simple cancellation, I had to convince her not to send the guys over. And FYI, the guys do go in the backyard whether you answer the door or not. They should do a proper job of giving enough time to give notice of an appointment.

Very deceptive practices, locked my wife into a1yr service contract without fully explaining all the details. Service was poor, products used didn't seem very effective. We had an invasion of spiders everywhere after 3 of their services that didn't work. The service guys look like high school kids. Even after our unsatisfaction, we were threatened that we could not terminate our contract because of deceptive penalty charges. Please take your business elsewhere. God Bless.

Last night at 9:00 pm one of your salesmen went door-to-door in our neighborhood. More than one homeowner told him it was inappropriate to solicit that late in the evening. When he came to our door he knocked hard three separate times and was rudely persistent. The salesmen would not take no for an answer so doors had to be closed in his face. He returned this evening and actually lied to my neighbor saying that our family and another family on the street purchased a service from Moxie. Neither family purchased the service nor ever would based on how unprofessional this man was. He also asked for a Gatorade or a water. Really?? That's Moxie's level of professionalism? He did more harm than good for the Moxie name. No one had ever heard of your company until he came bearing your name. He made you look bad on every level.

It was a rush job in the back yard. Had to remind the tech to check for ants and the mouse traps. Several areas were not treated. I was promised that an experienced tech that would check with us about issues would do the treatment. Instead it was a rushed 10 minute job. Very disappointing and this is why I called previously to cancel due to the poor service and increased pricing. I was promised more detailed service, and it is not happening AGAIN.

DO NOT CONTRACT WITH MOXIE FOR GOPHER CONTROL! I've had more gophers drown in my pool (2), and have killed more myself (1) running across my lawn. They have caught 1 in their trap in 6 months. MOXIE CANNNOT GET RID OF GOPHERS! DON'T PAY FOR IT!
