So glad I found Chem Free! From the initial request, made on a Sunday afternoon query, I received a call in minutes to schedule an appointment for the inspection of termites. Tuesday, Bryce was on time and the most helpful! The inspection was only about 15 minutes and he gave us the rundown of our options. We already knew we had them, they were harassing us by swarming out of the skylights in our living room, it was now just a matter of planning. The packing was the hard part, you don't realize you have so much stuff until you have to pack it. But I personally love a good purge. Scheduled the appointment for a fumigation, still "bugging" Bryce along the way, never once did he get frustrated or irritated with the questions. He always responded immediately and continued being helpful. Fumigation team arrived during the given window and got right to work, they were kind, professional, and respectful of property. They even came back the next day to make sure everything was secure. 2 days, and we were back in the house and my little baby cat was no longer staring at the ceiling. Wonderful experience, would highly recommend, my suggestion, start purging early, its good for the soul. My neighbors on both sides have Bryce's contact info as well now. Bryce Mathis, the representative for ChemFree, was the consummate professional. His timely responses to my questions and concerns was reassuring. His team players were also helpful. I had facial boards replaced and the workers showed up on time and cleaned up afterwards. The fumigation team arrived at my home at the exact time I was told they would arrive. They, too, were organized and diligent at doing their job. My overall experience was excellent and the price was reasonable.

Chem-Free crew were prompt, efficient, knowledgeable and courteous. They took the time to address my concerns regarding termite treatment and providing advice on what to look before my next service call in a year. One unexpected result of the use of Orange Oil and Bor-Ac, was the pleasant light fragrance of orange blossoms for the next fee days. Nice!

My husband and I moved to the area in November and needed to address a termite issue. We put it off because it seemed like a lot to deal with but Matt at Chem Free made the entire process so easy and fast. Bryce was able to do an inspection within a couple days of me calling and was very thorough and transparent. I was able to schedule termite treatment the week after. Pricing is super fair, I’m so pleased with the process and how great Chem Free is! I highly recommend and will use their services if ever needed again.

Great service and quality work

This company left their extremely large and heavy wood beam scaffolding at my elderly parent’s house after tenting for termites in October. It is now April, and despite many calls & numerous requests, they still haven’t come to pick it up. It’s too large and heavy for us to move, what a nightmare. Don’t use this company!

Two weeks, and they still haven't reached out. Not good customer service.

Recommended by Nextdoor neighbor app. Employees were friendly and professional. My only complaint is they locked one of my garage door from the inside. When I came home and tried to open it, it wasn’t opening. Upon checking the door, I say the lock hatch was secured and my garage door was bent on top. I wish they would have told us about this or at least unlock it prior to leaving.

I called Chem-Free Exterminating because I had a new porch installed and was told there MIGHT be termites in my home. I also have a major flea problem. I called and requested an inspection. The agent came out and did not inspect a THING! He just immediately said I needed to be tented $2,200. I paid the money and my house was tented (after no inspection) and still have fleas and I’ve not seen one dead termite. I want a refund, this is the worst experience I’ve had in my life.

The owner was unprofessional and rude to say the very least. Dan lazily inspected our house for termites and was yelling “do you understand, you don’t have termites” when we asked for clarification because another company had checked our house and said there were. This behavior is unacceptable for any business. I highly suggest going to someone else

They were my Father past away recently and noticed that there were wood shavings in his garage. They treated the house two years ago. My Pop I guess forgot to pay the warranty so what they what they did as a courtesy was allow my to pay the warranty because is was close to when he would renew and they came out and treated the house and save us a lot of money. Thankful for their kindness.

My family’s experience with ChemFree and its owner, Daniel Murphy (Dan), has been unprofessional, and the reliability of the product is very questionable. Below is a summary of our experience. About a week ago, our family noticed that there were termite droppings in one of our bathrooms, as well as, in our garage. Since we had previously tented our home with ChemFree, we called them and arranged for someone to come out and give an assessment of the droppings. On the day of the scheduled visit, Dan Murphy, the owner, came and assessed both areas where the droppings were found. During the visit, Dan assured us that we “definitely had termites”, and that they had “been there for four or five years”. That was a surprise for us to hear considering we had just had our home tented with ChemFree in February of 2014. When we communicated to Dan that we had worked with them not too long ago to tent our home, he noted that the sticker on the side of our home indicated that the last time our home was tented was in 2010. We asked if he could contact his home office to verify that ChemFree had not serviced our home since 2010. He claims he made the call, and that there was no information regarding any fumigation services to our home. Because we were so sure we had worked with them, we investigated our bank records, and we were able to obtain the check information from the check issued to ChemFree as payment for the fumigation service back in February of 2014. Once we had that information, we called the home office again, and asked them to please confirm that services were provided during that time. Eventually, ChemFree was able to find the information pertaining to our service from 2014. Naturally, we had some questions regarding our situation, and Dan’s response was that, “he needed to review our file and would get back to us tomorrow”. Tomorrow came, and we did not hear from Dan. It was on us to call him to get some clarity on several issues: (1) Why was the sticker on the side of our home not updated to reflect the latest year of service? (2) If the last time we had our home tented with ChemFree was in February of 2014, and that service came with a three-year warranty, how is it possible that the ChemFree assessment revealed a four or five year termite issue? It is only October of 2018, and that assessment would suggest that the treatment only worked for about a year. Did the product not take to our home? (3) As repeat customers, why was our file non-existent/not reviewed until after we provided the check information indicating we had paid for services with ChemFree already? (4) Why didn’t we get a call back from the owner when he said he would call us back to clear up our concerns/questions? If you are considering engaging ChemFree’s services, we hope you keep our experience in mind.

This company tented my mom's house and after they took off the tent when she was able to come back home she noticed that some of her things were missing (jewelry and money) I would not recommend this company.

We had a bad experience with this termite control. I would not recommend them to anyone. They gave us a 1 year guarantee and termites never went away. The inspector named Seth Padget promised termites would go away, but that wasn't true. It was a waste of money.
