This month Marty had to dodge a host of obstacles to navigate at my house. Poor guy. He zipped in, got the job done, and zipped out. He knocked down an unwanted wasp nest. I so looked forward to seeing him this month. Marty noticed my house update and that make me smile. I've been trying to get rid of subscription services. This is the one subscription that I never considered canceling. I can see the difference the company makes to me. Marty takes care of people. Marty takes care of animals and pets. I'm delighted with his service; he's all around knowledgeable and will share so that your situation gets improved. Marty is a great representative of the company.

You never showed up at my home, I have a camera and proof of it at the time stamps that is noted on the email 3:06pm and no vehicles are parked on either side of the driveway, or the road. Only a child on a bike was found on the camera.

Guy was mad rude to my wife cause HE couldn’t get a simple lock code to work. I was away, usually I do it so they aren’t bothered. Guy only sprayed half the yard then dipped, grumbling about “you’ll have to reschedule”. Canceling this service Asap

I’m the one who left a bad review over a year ago for a technician walking in on me using the bathroom. The way the company handled it was non existent - they continued to allow Devon into other people’s homes, and refused to compensate us in any way despite the unprofessionalism. They also avoided the situation by denying phone calls. Fast forward to today - after being made clear we want absolutely nothing to do with the company, I’m being continually pressed for a response from someone from their business. SO unprofessional, creepy, definitely avoid! And three months later, “Jack” is still messaging me, proving that they don’t know how to handle their employees and they address nothing.

I requested a 30 minute lead time in which I didn't receive. I noticed the enviro guard truck was in my neighbor's driveway so complimented him on having two houses side by side he asked my name I told him he said I'm at the wrong house I tried calling and texting you. I told him I returned his call in eight minutes. His attitude at this time was pretty crappy. Then he sprayed my backyard which I specifically said not to ever spray back there always pellets because of my outside pets. I do not want Marty on my property again. After a few more visits and the tecks still spraying when told not to and on three separate occasions within 2-3 days after they left I had birds die. So I told them not to come back in which they charged and threatened my credit. You should find anyone else to do your extermination because there is no honor in this company they just want the money they don't care want you want.

All of the workers who have serviced me have been great but honestly don't seem like they have made any difference spraying!! I've been with this company for a few months now and haven't seen not one bit of a difference just the regular change of seasonal pest ! I've wasted my money and am highly upset! The 1st person who came to spray didn't do anything I rarely saw spray come out of his sprayer!! U can't cancel anytime so basically u pay for them to come in ur house to spray absolutely nothing!! There are what I feel are fake reviews stating they've been with them about a year and might continue... u shouldn't have to continue if they were spraying stuff that's really going to help ! Have to pay "discounted" price of $163 toto get out of the contract basically.. very disappointed! The lady I talked to told me they can come out more for free but y set it up for every 2 months to have to get another spraying in between if it is properly working? I would prefer them to just cancel the account and call it truths bc they really know what they are doing which is ABSOLUTELY NOTHING😔

I'm not even sure my house was treated. The tech wasn't even here 5 minutes. Is that usual. The first time the house was treated it took a lot longer. Spiders were my biggest concern. My porches are always filled with webs. Will not continue with this service.

After agreeing to hear the door to door man's sales pitch, I agreed to give it a try. I was told that it was a cancel anytime deal and wouldn't be charged until after treatments if I kept going. Turns out they use that as a way to get you to just sign up to a year (7 treatment) agreement. Our first service tech was great, really nice and seemingly thorough. Within a week or so, we had wholly different infestation and when contacting the company, they sent a different guy out that didn't even look for anything and just sprayed a bit more. I was told this fell under warranty and would have no charge. The second service came up and the tech called to tell me that I had an unpaid charge and tried to claim that this was our 3rd service. He *very reluctantly* sprayed inside the home for barely 2 minutes after I explained the warranty guarantee we were given. I don't know or think that he treated outside of the home at all. We then received a text saying no further services would be done until paid and I then looked up all the reviews and realized I had made a terrible mistake. AVOID AT ALL COST!

At the first appointment EnviroGuard was supposed to complete both interior and exterior pest control treatment. The sprayer for interior broke so they were unable to complete the interior service. It took nearly a month to get the service scheduled for the interior spray and when that day arrived, they called and canceled at the last minute. They had already charged me for the initial service that had not yet been completed. I called to cancel my contract with them because of their failure to complete the agreed upon services in a timely manner. We were now a month away from the initial service. I was also told that I was scheduled for a service in August that I was not aware of. When I asked about that I was told I would have gotten a call a day or two before the service call. So it appears that they expected me to just drop everything and work around their schedule. When I told an Enviroguard manager I wanted to cancel the contract due to their company's failure to complete the initial services and the problems with their scheduling, she said I would be charged a $300 fee to get out of the contract and if I didn't pay it I would be turned over to collections. I tried to be patient and work with this company because I understand that things break and scheduling can be difficult, but I can't continue adjusting my plans to accommodate them. I just expected that they would have taken ownership of the problems they caused me and graciously let me out of the contract. But it appears they are not that type of company. In the future I'm sticking with our local companies who care about working hard to provide me with prompt, quality service.

The technician (Devon) walked in on me using the bathroom. No knock, no announcement that he was in the bedroom connected to the bathroom, nothing. He just appeared in the door and stared. When I yelled at him to get him to leave, he stood there and stared for 20+ seconds. I had to literally scream at him just to get him to move to get out, and instead of just leaving when it was addressed, he continued to spray right next to the outside of the bathroom door… as I was sitting on the toilet I could still see him. I had to yell at him to get him to leave the room to give me privacy. Instead of just apologizing, he argued with me. He claimed the door was open (it wasn’t - he had to open it to get in) and so it was okay that he did what he did. He continued to argue, so I told him to get out without completing services. Completely unprofessional, rude, and lacking in basic human decency. I cannot believe this company employs people who can’t grasp basic human decency. Cannot recommend you avoid this company and especially Devon’s services enough. If I could give lower than 1 star, I absolutely would.

A representative came to my home soliciting and using a neighbor as a reference and offering a great discount. I agreed to the service but did not want to give my payment info to just a random person at my door so opted to pay when the tech came to perform the service. The tech arrived on the scheduled day and serviced our home but he didn't have the bait boxes for rodent control with him but promised to return with them later. The company charged my account the agreed upon price. 3 days layer a tech arrived with the bait boxes promised BUT The next morning I noticed that they had charged my bank account ANOTHER $150 FOR ANOTHER SERVICE!!!! They said they'd refund but it would take about 5 business days and being a holiday weekend..... Not a great experience for a 1st service with a new customer nor a confidence builder with the safety of my banking information.
