Had my quarterly treatment completed by Technician Axl Quinn recently. He was courteous and professional, provided a text head-up when he was on his way, and a follow-up text message once he had completed, which was greatly appreciated. My property backs up to a community Water feature, so it's more prone to bugs. After each treatment, there's a significant difference in the number of bugs dead and deterred. I appreciate that they offer courtesy follow-ups if I notice any unusual nuisances in-between scheduled treatments.

We really appreciate Marcus Santiago. He’s been protecting our home from pests and mosquitoes for a few years. He’s always timely, professional and courteous and takes the time to do a thorough job. I especially appreciate that he moves our dog’s water bowl and the flip flops I keep outside away from the area when it’s being treated.

Noticed an increase in spider webs a couple days ago & called Bulwark yesterday. They sent Brandon Caras out the very next day. He took care of what turned out to be baby black widows. He was very great, explained what he did. I've been using Bulwaek for a few months, they've been great! Highly recommend.

NEGATIVE 10 STARS! This company is ridiculous, beware. Look up their BBB complaints and you’ll get the idea. Their technicians get good reviews because they text you with a link, click here to review me and I’ll get a tip! So you feel obliged, do, then Bulwark uses it as a review for their company. The majority of their BBB complaints are billing problems. We’re talking about them billing me for months of “service” to my mosquito traps DURING WINTER. Did they do this? No. Did they upsell me on the mosquito service? Yes. Misrepresentation of the services they would provide. Their weed service is ridiculous. Sure they will come back out, but should they have to? If they’re doing pre-emergent and post-emergent, why do I still have so many weeds? Speaking with the supervisors doesn’t provide results. It provides rude behavior because they are so large, they don’t care about their customers (shout out to Brandy, she’s the one nice person at the company). Do not use them. Stop using them if you do. Warn people against them.

My elderly mother has been a customer for 10 years. She has been dealing with scorpions for years. I have told the technicians that have sprayed several times the scorpions are terrible. They continue to spray, inside and outside. The scorpions are in the house almost daily. Not once have they offered anything other than general spray. Clearly an infestation of something is at the front door. Not one peep from the techs. My mom asks about sealing or something and they come out and saw a dead scorpion in the back yard with none inside. Why was this service NEVER done or offered before??? Why do I feel stupid for saying we have really bad scorpions for them to do the general spray and nothing offered like what was done last time…. Why is an elderly woman’s home not being taken care of correctly the first time when she clearly has bark scorpions? She doesn’t want to use this service anymore and was told it was a misunderstanding??? A misunderstanding of having a scorpion problem. Shame on the technicians and whoever has been responsible taking calls about scorpions and not doing the correct job in the first place.

I’ve been a customer for over a decade and am finally cancelling due to poor customer service and reduced scope of service. Even when I called to cancel they were beyond rude. Their automated schedule reminder system is also beyond annoying, I don’t need a phone call, text and an email at 7PM on a Saturday (oh sorry it was 6:26PM now, back to back calls)

Called them out. Supposedly professional exterminators. Tech set 4 traps in my attic all within 2 feet of the scuttle hole.. Told me someone would be out in 2 days to check. Well week goes and nobody's come out, no call. I check and they billed me 262 bucks for this.! I am blown away! Horrible. No better than I could have done myself. Still have rats! One of the rats showed me way he thought of bulwark by actually pooping on the tap. Not professional or effective! Will never use again. ***Update Thank you for reaching out. You have my contact information but just in case, I did email you as well so you have it. If love to talk to you, even show you exactly what your highly trained, professional did. We took some<br>time to do an audit on your account and were able to review the<br>initial recording where you called in to set up services. While $263<br>may seem costly for rodent control services, we serviced for rodents<br>and general pests, these are two seperate treatments offered. Now<br>moving forward you did say you would like to discuss after about<br>continuing the general pest service as it seemed the rodents were the<br>main concern. The first charge is always going to be a little higher<br>than the services that follow because of the time, set up and full<br>pest service. Moving forward the charges would be broken up monthly so<br>there may have been some confusion there. We of course never want to<br>charge anyone for any services they did not agree to or want. We also<br>took time to review the service tickets indicating what was actually<br>done out there on 10/19. These service tickets showed the service<br>professional set up two bait stations on the outside with bait placed<br>inside the stations along with performing interior and exterior<br>service. It has been one week since these traps were placed, when it<br>comes to drawing rodents out from hiding it can take up to a few weeks<br>for the rodents to find their way inside the station and consume the<br>bait. Once bait is consumed it takes roughly 12-24 hours for the<br>rodent to die. We understand your frustration and that it seems fairly<br>simple to place traps and wait however the placement is important<br>depending on the level of rodent activity. We can assure you all of<br>our service professionals are highly trained on assessing the<br>situation and properly placing traps inside and outside in order to<br>reduce the chance of any dead rodents being left inside the home or<br>walls. In good faith we are willing to wipe the general pest charge<br>if this was something you were not fully set on as you did initially<br>call in for rodents and the general pest was brought up near the end<br>of the conversation. Company is full of incompetent individuals. Contacted company a few months ago as a tenant at an apartment complex, was a hassle to explain to the representative that I was not the account holder and that I was just renting an apartment. Was eventually able to set up an appointment for someone to come out, only for them to never show up. When contacting the company, I was informed that someone came to spray the apartment. After speaking with multiple individuals, finally someone actually came out to spray. Fast forward, cockroaches are still appearing in my apartment. Contacted them again and again was met with representative who would not help unless you know the exact account information. When I informed them that I was a tenant, they again refused to help. I was given the direct number of a manager, when contact the individual had no recollection of speaking with my landlord. I was told that I had to contact another office. Would NOT recommend!
Quality, Responsiveness, Value - horrible experience!!! If I could give this company zero stars, I would! I’m not sure if there has been in a change in management, but this summer's service has been deplorable. This company has turned into a nightmare for me. 1. These guys clearly have a habit of skipping scheduled appointments and reporting the management for service they did not perform. Service man didn’t show up twice! ( each time reporting they did). Had scheduled all appointments at my home in advance. Couple times on the day I was supposed to be serviced I waited and waited and waited. No show! Come to find out they told that they came - lies!!! No show on both times! I had a 3-4 hours window so I basically wasted half of my day. 2. I was not satisfied with their bug prevention treatments inside and outside having more bugs after each appointments, so I kept having them come out to deal with the same issue. 3. Making my appointments I specifically asked to spray specific front yard area for beetles that digging 1 inches holes all over that area. I saw 4 inches beetles inside the hole!!.. Not sure what was sprayed that was, but more holes were found next day after. This company doesn’t care and doesn’t value their customers and the customers' time, and I’d not recommend it but instead: RUN, run - and look for some other company that values their customers.
Had scheduled an initial appointment at my home 3-4 weeks in advance. On the day I was supposed to be serviced I waited and waited and waited. No show! Come to find out they scheduled me for some day other than what we had agreed upon. I had a 4 hours window so I basically wasted half of my day. They didn't care about my time so I chose to not set up another appointment. Id rather use a company that values their customers.

This company has turned into a nightmare for me. I was not satisfied with their bug and scorpion prevention so I kept having them come out to deal with the issue. I finally gave up on them and asked them to discontinue services. They kept sending people out to spray my house and then kept charging me. You ignore their calls = they keep sending someone out. I spoke to managers and they wouldn't close my account. I kept receiving bills saying I owed money; I called to verify and they did remove the charges and told me my account was closed. But I keep getting calls from them to a point this is harassment. This needs to stop! I didn't like your services, I will never be one of your customers again. I hope this review helps prevent other customers from the future harassing phone calls. Run. Run. RUN!
We have used them for a couple of years and maybe have had the same person two times in a row. Never did I know anyone's name. These reviews are naming their techs?????? Almost all of them? We decided to cancel because we got tired of them just showing up wanting to exterminate. We repeatedly asked them to call us first and seriously it rarely worked out. We have small animals and a pond and there is preparation for us to do when they come and after they leave for the safety of our pets. Sometimes they would give us one days notice and we could usually make that work. The last tech we had I watched him spray the dog bed and that was it on that. So now we're done.
The salesman over the phone made it sound really good, said he was going to waive the high initial service fee of $150 and only charge me $56, then $56 a month for additional treatments. WHAT HE DID NOT MENTION was that I would be locked in for a MINIMUM of 12 months with a HEFTY PENALTY if I cancelled early!!!! The tech who came out was very friendly...he was great, and the only good thing this company has going for it. When I found out what the real deal was, he told me that he couldn't service my house because he couldn't alter the contract that the original salesman had made (obviously because of his commission) and the office was closed (it was after 6 pm) so he couldn't get in touch with anyone to inquire about other options. When the salesman called back the next day, all of the sudden it was $180 for a one-time treatment and he said he wouldn't even put me on a seasonal plan that I was actually interested in until I had gone through an entire year's contract. $$$! He tried to say they have a money-back guarantee (implying that I could cancel anytime) but here's what it really says, verbatim: "If you are not happy with our service, please call us and we will gladly re-service your home free of charge. If we are unable to resolve the problem, we'll refund your LAST CHARGE." But you're still locked in to the 12-month contract! The guy even told me that his company was the ONLY company that can get rid of scorpions. When I questioned this ridiculous statement, he told me to check out their reviews on google...which must be mostly shills, I mean, 100+ 5-star reviews?! So I decided to leave a REAL REVIEW. The way this company is run, where the salesman slick you into a $600+ 12-month contract without telling you, then the tech guy comes out and can't do his job until you can get the salesman back on the phone and then reschedule service...if you've got an emergency like scorpions in your home, waiting around for someone in your family to get stung while the salesman worries more about his monthly quota then this company is not for you!
