The Beehive Bee and Wasp Removal

Very pleased with their service and recommend using them! I found a hive of bees on our roof. I wanted them to be removed humanely and after a lot of research narrowed it down to a few companies. After talking with all of them, I chose The Beehive. I trusted them to do what they could to relocate the bees and they were very reasonable with the price. Kevin responded right away and sent Tom out the very same day. Tom was very knowledgeable and professional. He explained the process and answered all my questions. He even asked about the safety of my dogs. I have no reservation recommending this company.

We got a call from our neighbors that we had a swarm of bees on the side of our home. As soon as we saw how big it was, we were panicking and started to call a bunch of companies to see if they could come today to remove the bees. Unfortunately, due to the holiday many of them were telling us we had to wait until Monday, which did not sit well with us. We have a lot of families and small kids that come out and our neighbors have a newborn so there was no way we were going to wait. Also, it was right in front of our house so how are we supposed to leave as well? Thank God for the BeeHive LLC Company and for Ryan coming and saving the day. when my husband spoke to him, he was very courteous and professional. He let us know when he was on his way, and when he did come, he took care of the bees immediately and efficiently. We are so grateful and thankful for his expertise and his help. We had a wasp infestation at our home. They were everywhere including the front yard, the back yard and in our swimming pool which ultimately prevented us from enjoying our pool. We called The Beehive Bee and Wasp Removal and 3 hours later Tom was at our door. Tom found that we had 25 wasp nests strewn about our property (in the aloe vera plants, the bougainvillea, the trees, etc). Tom was outstanding. He managed to quickly rid our property of the problem and now we are wasp free. We are very pleased with the prompt & professional service and we highly recommend this company.

If I could give them 10 stars, I would! We had bees building a colony in an outdoor cat house in our backyard. We called early in the a.m. and our technician arrived by 10a.m. The problem was remediated within 15-20min- they removed the hive built within the cathouse, sprayed the area thoroughly, and charged such a reasonable price. The bees cleared out completely by late noon. I can't thank them enough for helping us through a very stressful situation. They gave us a 90day guarantee. I'm glad we called these guys first- it just felt like an honest company in reviews & the experience was great. Don't hesitate to call them!

I called the company at 4pm on a Saturday and Ryan was at my house by 4:30pm; I asked for live bee removal and he was able to vacuum them up and released them back into the desert and sent me a video of the release. My wife and I are extremely pleased with this company and highly recommend them and the cost is very reasonable.

Tue, 03/25/2025 @ 2:20pm a bee swarm was reported at the customer entrance of Professional Towing and Recovery LLC in Guadalupe. At 2:43pm they arrived onscene. The beehive was in the water meter supply box in the ground, and the hive was massive. The Beehive crew was able to quickly remove the hive and relocate it and bees elsewhere. After the initial service didn't remove them, Ray came out with his son and went above and beyond to take care of my bee issue. He used a camera to find where in our roof they had made a home in the least destructive way possible. He removed 80-100 POUNDS of honeycomb and honey and then put everything back together with a very proper repair to ensure they wouldn't come back and that my roof was in better condition when he left than when he started. It also came with a 2 year warranty against re-infestation and leaks. Very impressed. He even changed out a couple broken roof tiles for me while he was up there. If I ever have a friend with a bee issue, I wont hesitate to call these guys and ask for Ray!

Found The Beehive online, called and Ray provided me with a solid quote and was able to be at the house in 30 minutes. Service was fast and good value . Highly recommend them.

I’ll be honest! When I called them. I thought they were keepers. I thought they were gonna take the bees somewhere. These guys are actually exterminators. Bee hive removal and disposal. They took care of a beehive forming around my property and did it quite quickly. Reasonable price too and great service. I won’t knock them for their service. Great at what they do.

Great work

We had a bee infestation in our short palm tree within 24 hrs after our neighbors sprayed their bee infestation. Juan Sanchez was at our home within an hour. We did not want to kill the bees, we wanted them removed so he vacuumed them up, sprayed a repellant, and will release them elsewhere. He was efficient, very professional and informative. I would recommend their service to anyone who has a bee problem.

Expensive, but helpful if you do it on your own

Several weeks ago, I woke up on a Sunday morning to the sound of a very loud insect buzzing around my room. My husband quickly realized that it was a bee, and that there were more bees near the AC vent. I called The Beehive and they assured me they would send someone out that morning, though they were very busy, and gave me instructions for what to do in the meantime. Fortunately, our bedroom is upstairs and has an attic that is completely separate from the rest of the house, so we were able to hang out downstairs for a while while we waited (and I imagined our room slowly filling with bees, which was terrifying, but definitely not the actual situation). When Ray arrived, he immediately noticed the bee behavior around our roof and identified that a swarm was scoping out our attic for a nice comfy home, as well as identifying their points of entry. He sprayed the perimeter of our attic and told us what we needed to fix, how to fix it, and how much it would cost for him to fix it. We decided to try to handle it ourselves. Ray was quick, honest, and great to work with, and when we returned to our room, the only sign of that morning’s events was one dead bee on a windowsill. Fast forward a few weeks, we’ve purchased a ladder and my husband has completed some of the repairs but just isn’t comfortable reaching the very top edge of our two-story wall (and I don’t even want to go up two steps on a ladder) so we call The Beehive again. Ray swings by that afternoon, double checks what he needs to do, and schedules a time to come back to do the job, letting us know that he can give us a discount if we have cash on hand. He came back this morning, took care of everything quickly, and gave us the promised discount. He even touched up a few other things that he noticed while he was up on the ladder. I hope we never need bee or wasp services again, but if we do, I’m definitely calling Ray. He’s knowledgeable and friendly and was great to work with. Edit to add: Two years later and I see a wasp building a mud nest on my door. Called The Beehive right away and they had someone here within an hour. Removed the nest (caught it while it was still empty) and sprayed around the house. Love the promptness and clarity of communication. Love that I have a 3 month guarantee so I can be confident that we won’t have wasps hanging out here any time soon. If I could leave a second 5-star review, I would.

(1) Professional communication with the on-site bee exterminator (Ray) was Tense. The responses to a couple of the questions I asked were: "Like I told her already" and "She asked me the same question already" ... Whenever he said "she/her", he was referring to my wife. There is a way to talk politely with potential customers, and that was certainly lacking, which has triggered this review. (2) Before he began the work, he asked me for the method of payment. Looks like there was a LACK of trust that, I, the customer, would probably not pay for the services. I headed back to the inside of my home to write the check, and only then the work began. He later mentioned that they have MANY customers that do not pay for the service after the fact, which is why he had to confirm my method of payment. Companies who treat their customers like they are NOT going to pay ... well ... these companies should also realize that honest customers like myself have written them off and will not contact them again for follow-up services. If you treat me like I am not going to pay you, I am not going to rehire you OR recommend you. (3) Information for potential customers: I paid $225 for 3-4 minutes of bee treatment services which basically included spraying some special concoction around my pool ... with the written guarantee that THERE ARE NO GUARANTEES! So, whether this will work or not, how long will it work, has to be seen...

Ray was on time, professional and very friendly. We had a hive forming under our tool shed in our backyard. He was able to quickly eradicate the problem and gave me some important tips to prevent any issues in the future. Thank you!!!! Called for wasps swarming our pool. Was told by this company there was nothing they could do if we didn't know where the wasp nest was. Gave two stars because the guy was nice on the phone, but was told there was nothing they could do to help us. Don't know how they are with bees, but if you have a wasp problem and don't know where the nest is, probably not the company you want to call as they were of no help.

Extremely disappointed with using The Beehive. I originally asked for a bee removal. But instead of a removal they did a extermination and gave me an explanation of the bees were acting aggressive and needed to be killed. They did this without consulting with me first. I will not use this company again and I will be letting everyone I know to stay clear of this company.

Nick responded today to scary front entryway bee swarm issue. Was awesome! Suited up in protective gear, answered all my questions and handled the bees. Thank you guys!!

Quoted 325.00 on the phone. Ended up being 450.00. They wanted to remove the roof tiles and cut a hole in the roof of a 1yr old house, for 2500.00. We said no, so they just sprayed a couple squirts of spray, were there 15 minutes and we were charged 495. I said that’s not what we were quoted on the phone, so they made it 450.00. Not too happy!

Quick response, showed up on the same day as promised. Ray obviously knew his stuff, and easily and quickly collected the bees in a large mesh bag and put them in the back of his truck. I only gave four stars because the price I paid seemed high considering it was a relatively "easy" bee hive removal job, (The bees were in a flowerpot; Ray covered the pot with the mesh bag, put the whole thing in the truck and that was that.) and it only took a few minutes. I paid the price we had discussed on the phone ($150 cash), and while I was happy knowing that the bees would be relocated safely, I felt that the price would probably preclude lots of other people from dealing with a bee infestation in a humane way like this, even though they may want to.

Ok. Not going again.

Yes they show up quickly and work quickly - impressive in fact. I have had three previous hives removed from another company but randomly called these guys based on great reviews. Mistake. They left a huge mess and did not clean up the dead bees or the area where the hive was located. There are still pieces of honeycomb left. Other companies clean up and take their mess with them. These guys would be stellar if they completed the job. They didn't.
