My experience with Mr Buggs in Pelham AL has been very positive. I have 2 pest control services with them and 2 termite contracts. Scheduling service is very easy and follow-up a few days before the service date is always done. Then the technician will text the day of the service and will let me know if he running a little late. One thing that is important to me is that the same person services my locations each time. Mr Buggs provides the same person - I do not have to get a new person familiar with my work each time. It is the same with pest control and termite protection. Bobby is very easy to work with and explains to me what he will be doing. He is receptive to my questions. I highly recommend Mr Buggs in Pelham. I do not live in Pelham but they service my homes in Clanton and Indian Springs AL.

I reached out to a handful of companies for a termite bond. Mr. Buggs was high on my list because they were recommended by a couple of friends. This was the ONLY company that took days to respond to my initial inquiry and then gave me excuses when he finally called. I still set up an in home quote where he showed up a half hour late, with excuses, and then wrote the quote on the back of their business card.The quote was reasonable and against my better judgment, I agreed to use them. I call the guy 5 minutes after he left, had to leave a vm and texted him as well. Five hours later he calls me with more excuses as to why it took so long to return to my call. He says his tech would be there by 3pm that day. The tech calls me at 4pm and says he’s helping a friend who broke down and it would be 5pm. I asked him to callmme when he was on his way. At 6pm, I had still not heard from the tech, so I called him. He said he was 8 miles away. By 6:30pm, I was DONE. I texted both the tech and the ‘excuse guy” and told them I would not be needing their services. The “excuse guy” texts me and says they already completed the job. Umm, no he didn’t. Then he texts me and says his tech was busy helping other customers. Umm, no he wasn’t. The tech shows up at 6:50pm and thinks I still want their service…

I has originally contacted Mr Buggs for a qoute on an 8 unit apartment that had a crawl space with termite damage in Nov 24, I received a qoute, shopped around and also it took some time for me to close on the property. Several months later in April I found Mr Buggs to be reasonably priced, excellent customer service on the phone, easy billing, reliable service, top notch job done complete with pictures during the process. Im very happy with the speed, the workmanship and the people in the office. Shout out to Mr Buggs, Gracie and all the team. If there were more stars to give I would give more. Definetly will be my go to for pest.

We had ants in our house for nearly 2 years, paid out the nose for services, and they couldn't fix the problem. They were camped out! Every service a new employee coming to spray, to gel, to put out particulates, who were not trained and had no idea what they were doing. And Mr. Buggs didn't care. Over 2 years, I had patience, now I have no more patience. I finally took care of the problem myself for like $10, 2 applications over 2 weeks that took me like 15-20 minutes and got everything done. And we haven't had an ant problem since I handled the issue. (That was 6 months ago.) Almost 2 years ago, they created damage on our property and had us pay for the installation of termite traps, now they want to come and remove them from our property, without our permission and cause more damage to our garden beds. Stay away, and stop causing damage to our property and asking us to pay for your services for years, which were completely ineffective. We are not going to continue to pay for your damage to our property.

In 2022 I started termite service with Mr.Buggs, the tech was very friendly. This year I noticed an issue with some kind of insect, I called Mr. Buggs, they sent a technician who could not identify what the problem was, paid for them to spray inside and out, I l left home for 4-5 hours as instructed, return, I have the same insect problem. I called Mr. Buggs the next day to advised I still had the same problem..The tech did not inspect the attic, he didn't inspect anything, he sprayed around the walls and outside and left. Mr. Bugss hasn't to this day addressed the ongoing problem nor did they refund my money. I told Mr. Buggs whatever it is it is falling out of the ceiling. I called Mr. Buggs 3 days back to back no help and no response on how to make good for poor service.

Mr. Bugg's bought my termite service from Dave's Pest Control. They showed up once to inspect the bait stations and said they would be back to swap out the bait stations to they're system. They never called, emailed or otherwise sent me any communications and then cancelled my contract without my knowledge. After several emails they agreed to send out a technician to reestablish service. The technician told me they couldn't cover my property because of limited access in the crawlspace. The previous technician from Mr. Bugg's had said they would be able to provide coverage but only a treatment bond rather than a full replacement. Now I have to hire another service and pay $595 to get established even though I paid Dave's $700 three years ago. Very frustrating experience all around with Mr. Bugg's, I would avoid them if you can.

I have been using Mr. Bugg’s Pest Control and lawn service for over 2 years. My grass is dead because of a grub infestation and was full of weeds all summer. It’s hard to believe I paid someone to have the ugliest yard in the neighborhood and now will likely have to resod. Do not recommend.

Contracted with Mr. Buggs for termite inspection. First year they sent a bill. I inquired how they gained access to part of my property. Turns out they didn’t. This they admitted. 3/5 of my stations were unchecked. Got tech out to finish the job. That went well. When I called to cancel my contact Stephanie, hung up on me. I hope my contact is canceled. I will never do business with thes people again!

We used Mr. Bugg's for pest control and turf maintenance. After my grass started dying I reached out on a Monday. I called several times after being promised someone would call me. Thursday I spoke with Harry, a supervisor, he again promised the tech would call. That call never came. I cancelled all services and days later I noticed holes all around the house. They snuck onto my property, went through a closed gate and took the termite stations and didn't fill in the holes. No call on that about that either. Once again I called and was told that Harry would call after he finished up a meeting. Guess what? Yep no call.. Poor communication and customer service. Edit.. had an inspection by another company today. Wood debris in the crawl space with severe termite damage. It's obviously old and should have been removed per state regulations. Also old termite tunnels that should have been taken down. On positive note, when I called Mr. Bugg's today I spoke with Mitch. He apologized for dropping the ball and said someone would be coming to fill in the holes they left. We will see..
