Didn’t receive great service. Tech was nice but spent only 6 minutes doing the initial service. Before I knew it he was in his van pulling away. And he left several wasps nests along my roof line. First experience not great, maybe it will get better?

This company is actually horrible. They are not worth your time or effort. They will come once and never show back up. They are very hard to get in touch with when you have an issue. And will continuously charge you without any follow up. I would avoid them, there are plenty of other options.

Worst customer service I've ever received. After years of being a customer, Romney has proven to not care about their customers and not think customer service is of importance. After a technician left loose bait poison in the attic instead of using a trap, an animal died in the attic above my baby's room, causing a horrible stench. Because the carcass wasn't accessible because of the reckless poisoning left out, we called Romney in order to get odor control bags. They refused to work us into same-day service and offered next day service which we agreed to. The following day, they did not show up to complete the service nor call that they weren't coming despite us receiving a confirmation text and calling to confirm they would be coming. That led us into a weekend with a horrific stench remaining above my child's room requiring us to relocate. On Monday morning, I called first thing for them to say that the technician did not have odor control bags on his truck Friday and canceled us and scheduled us for Tuesday. They weren't even going to work us in today, Monday, the next business day following Friday. I requested/begged that we would be worked in today due to our repeated calls that I have made and this being their error, causing us much distress. She stated she would call back to let me know but never did. I returned to the call five hours later to ask if they were coming today, to which she responded they would not be today it would be tomorrow. Not one single time of the three days that I called and begged for service and offered to meet a technician on the road to get the bags I needed did they ever call back or call to let me know that they wouldn't be coming. I will not be continuing my service with Romney as they do not value customers time, customers, health, or long-term service. Not even a manager will return your call. Find a pest control that cares about your health, your family, your well-being and values their customers.

I’m very disappointed with this company. They scheduled my appointment between 8:00–10:00am, but no one showed up. I called customer service, but they were not helpful at all and offered no real solution. Very unprofessional, unreliable, and poor customer service. I would not recommend this company.

"Avoid Romney Pest Control! They are completely overpriced for the service you get. The technician was in and out in less than 15 minutes and all he did was a quick spray around the outside of the house. I could have done a better job myself for a fraction of the cost. When I called to question the outrageous price, the customer service was unhelpful and acted like it was my problem. There are plenty of other pest control companies in the Selma area that offer better service and don't try to rip you off. Don't waste your money here."

We signed up for service inside and outside the house . The people who show up never do inside of the house even after specifically asking the service guy ; he said he can’t hear me and walked away

My husband and I paid to have them come out once a quarter to spray for bugs in and around our house. With that service you also get maintenance services when requested which we used multiple times. We had recently moved in to the house and had a problem with ants mainly. We started the service with them in March and just canceled in July. Only got one quarterly service from them and still had to have them come out 5+ times in a span of 4 months. Their products do not work. The men they send out to treat the house don’t seem to really care. We had one older guy who I liked and he seemed to care, but we told them all we thought the ants were in the attic and not a single one did anything in the attic. We had ants back within a week or two after each treatment. None of their treatments lasted more than two weeks. We have a busy life I don’t have time to have them constantly coming out. They over sell their products we were told they could get rid of them all with one or two treatments and then they would just need to come out each quarter to maintain. That was definitely not the case. The last appointment we had we mentioned a fly problem and they said they would spray for them and it would help for 2-4 weeks and it never even made a dent in the amount of flys. We tried to schedule an appointment this past Monday due to ants being back in our kitchen and that appointment somehow got canceled without my husband or I cancelling it. We weren’t even informed. I don’t recommend this company unless you want to pay $40+ every month for a quarterly service that will actually end up being a bi weekly needed service. They don’t have good communication and you will always have a different worker at your house so they will have no idea what problems you have. Horrible experience with this company.

They sold my business accounts - never informed me of the sale and since I never knew that I had to pay a new company my account went to collections and they ruined my credit. I have never had a late or missed payment before this.

Pest control technician was 3.5 hours early. We have a set schedule for 3-6 pm on schedule day, the interior was not accomplished. Now I see a bill with increased pricing. I was not notified about any increase in service amount. This is not professional behavior. Totally inappropriate. Business. Correct all now.

I hate to leave this review but they leave me no other choice. I used the quarterly services for years but the last service I received I told them to only treat outside as I had a sick kid at home. After they left I walked outside and the front door windows and eaves had cobwebs all over them. I was never super picky but if I say outside only I at least expect my front door to be treated as they stated in the report. I discontinued services with them and they continue to send me a bill for a service after I discontinued and want me to pay for services I didn’t receive. Now got notice in the mail saying going to send me to collections for services billing on 12/19,1/19 and 2/19 when they last serviced in November and I paid in November. Makes no sense and I would steer clear of people who do business like this.
