Mr Mike and his team are fantastic! Fast, friendly, efficient, affordable service. Couldn’t have had a better experience. We had a LARGE yellow jacket nest and Josh Fields knew exactly how to handle removing it and ALL of its occupants. We also had outside perimeter of house and shop building sprayed for bugs. Highly recommend BugBusters Exterminating.

You can tell he genuinely cares about doing the job right and ensuring your space stays pest-free. I have been using Bugbusters' services since I bought my house and have never had a reason to consider anyone else. They are professional, polite, prompt (often early!), and thorough. I use them for my annual subterranean termite inspection (it's a Texas thing), and also called them out to remove three wasp nests from my eaves. Always quick to respond, and I've never had to have any of their work redone. I absolutely, and without reservation, recommend Bugbusters Exterminating to anyone who asks.

I had called and spoke with Mike, we had a mouse issue due to the cold weather, his son showed up the next day on time and checked under my kitchen sink and then proceeded to place a bait station under the stairs to my back door, payment was made and was told they will return in a few days to check and monitor the situation.( this is where it turns south). After two weeks of no return and three unreturned phone calls. I finally reached Mike, he proceeded to tell me due to the flu they have been behind, but informed me that his son had been in the area( I have locked gates there is no way anyone could have checked the bait station with out me/ my wife knowing) and wasn't sure why he hadn't checked our house. He scheduled a visit that week and I called back just shortly after speaking with my wife to cancel his return and asked for a " partial" refund( figured a partial was fair since till this point they had been ok) was told " I'll have to get back with you" since it has been 3 weeks and no return phone calls or even a visit. I still have the bait station..... I paid 128(tax included) for 10 minutes of their time and nothing more! I work very hard and don't rightly enjoy giving away my money for poor results.... use caution and prepare your self when you hand over a check befor the job is complete.... with a great rating from locals love us this is definitely not the level of service I expected...

In response to Mr. Robertson’s review. Upon your initial call, you explained that you were having rodent issues & that you wanted us to come out & take care of this for you. We then explained the process that we would come out & inspect for signs, entry points & point out areas around your home that could be the main source causing your rodent issues. We then explained that we would set up one of our bait boxes & that we would need to come back for a follow up. You then explained that your wife is always home so we would be able to check the bait box anytime we were in your area to resolve your rodent issues & then we would be able to pick it up when no more signs of rodents were present. After explaining this process to you, you agreed & then scheduled an appointment for us to come out. Upon the technicians arrival he went through the process as explained which took approximately a half hour for the size of your home, not including the extra 10 minutes that he spent playing with your dog “all steps were noted in our technicians notes the day of your initial service.” Within the week of the initial inspect & set up we made our “first attempt” while we were in your area to check the bait box & we were unable to since your gates were locked & your wife was not home as promised. Our technician then made an attempt to call you although he could not reach you due to a poor signal since your home was so far out & we were never given your wife’s number nor a land line number. The next week the flu was going around heavy in the East Tx Area & our technician was one of the unlucky ones & was out most of that week with the flu, therefore we were shorthanded. We then received the first call from you along with a voicemail & this is when Mike called you back & explained to you that our technician was in the area again & would be glad to stop by & check the bait box again although when he made this “second attempt” your gates were locked again & your wife was not home as promised. So you wanted to reschedule again for our technician to come out which would have made the “third attempt” to your home not including your initial so we picked a date with you & you called to check with your wife to make certain that she would be there so we could complete the job but you called back soon after to cancel saying you just wanted a partial refund & did not want us to complete the job. Although we wanted to finish the job & resolve the rodent issue since we had already invested so much time into the job at this point, we agreed to give a partial refund back but would not do this by mail. We just needed someone to still meet us at your home to let us into the locked gates & we could then get our bait box that you still have & give the partial refund. You then said I will see if she will still meet you, although you never called back. Since then we have left a message for you to please call us back & we haven’t heard back from you & we simply cannot afford to make another attempt back to your home without the reassurance of someone being there first. We know firsthand what it is like to work very hard as small business owners therefore by making several attempts to your home without being able to access the bait box & check it has not only impacted our schedules but tied our hands making it impossible to do our jobs.<br><br>“Those that are small family owned businesses like ourselves do understand that it is situations like this that are very unfortunate for any small business owner that works hard, long hours & takes pride in taking care of their customer base & building up their reputations to have someone such as this make negative accusations just to try & harm the business owner”
Bugbusters was referred by close friends. This was for my 84 year old mother who had carpenter ants. They did a sprinkling of granduals and said they would be back to spray. We paid them but they never came back. I've left 3 messages and no returned call. They didn't complete job and won't return calls. My mom is on fixed income and now we have to call another exterminator. Don't pay these people until job is done but will never use again or refer. Bad experience.

In response to Merry’s review. There seems to be several facts missing from your review. To start, we never provided service for the persons home making this review. When in fact this service was actually provided for Merry’s mother’s home only & Merry made a brief presence to her mother’s home during the entire process & was never present when the technician completed the job. The initial call was to treat the outer perimeter for fire ants & carpenter ants were never mentioned in the initial call while scheduling. Although when our technician arrived he did his own inspection & noticed carpenter ants around the home, back deck & in the trees. Since we were called to treat the outer perimeter of the home for fire ants the technician began by spreading a granule base around the perimeter of the home before the actual spraying process to treat the fire ants. When he went to start the motor on his spray rig the pull rope broke, not allowing him to get it started. So he went inside to explain to your mother what had happened & that he would be back after getting it repaired & complete the spray of the perimeter for the fire ants & she understood. This is when you showed up at your mother’s house 1 hour later where you wanted to meet us although you thought your mother’s appointment was at 1:00 when it was actually scheduled for 12:00. Our technician then explained to you also what had happen & that he would be back after getting it repaired & complete the spray of the perimeter for the fire ants & you seemed to also understand. He did come back to your mother’s home within the week & completed the job at which point your mother seemed very satisfied with the technicians work although you were never present during the completion of the job. From the initial visit to the day the job was completed we did speak to you over the phone & you seemed to again understand the situation that we were working on getting the pull rope fixed & knew that we would be back to take care of your mother’s home & finish spraying the perimeter for fire ants, which we did. In the end the carpenter ants are a wood destroying insect & they are coming from the tree's in the yard in which case this will eventually need to be addressed. Sorry you feel you had a bad experience although your mother again seemed very satisfied with our work at her home & our customers who know & use us on a regular basis know that your review does not reflect the way we operate our company.
