I recently had a particularly challenging experience on the day of closing a property that was met with an unexpected turn of events—a pervasive odor indicative of a dead animal on the premises. Understandably, this was a distressing situation for both my client selling the home and the new buyer. Thankfully, Hill Country Pest Control came to the rescue in a remarkable manner. Initially, when I contacted them, I was informed that the scheduler for our area was not currently available but would reach out shortly. True to their word, I received a prompt callback and was reassured that a technician could be dispatched within a few hours. This level of responsiveness was the first of many impressive aspects of their service. Lawson, the technician assigned to our issue, was exceptional. Despite this being his first call of this nature, Lawson demonstrated remarkable expertise and professionalism. He skillfully maneuvered into a confined space to locate and remove the animal, effectively mitigating the odor using a specialized containment bag. His determination and communication with his supervisor ensured the problem was efficiently handled, allowing the closing to proceed as scheduled. I will let readers decide. My wife has used Hill Country Pest Control in the past and we've been satisfied with their service but, something has changed. We are starting off the year with a Red Wasp problem like most folks in this area so we called HCPC to get out for that issue. We were told that they were very busy and someone would call us back and set an appointment. Fine, we waited... no call. Called again, told the same thing, fine waited... no call. We called them 4 times and were told the same thing every time but never received a call for the appointment. I understand the challenges of hiring these days, not being able to hire reliable help, but a phone call is not too much to ask. A man named Mark called us on the fifth day and when my wife told him that we had called another company he made a snarky(smart ass) comment with sarcasm "sorry I wasted your time." I don't understand... how long were we supposed to wait for a call back? We tried to remain a loyal customer and that is how we were treated... my opinion is that someone from HCPC should at least call my wife and apologize for Mark's behavior. FYI... Starkey Pest Control had someone out and took care of the problem 2 hours after our first call. Let the readers decide!

Very dependable Great service, friendlly.

I have been with this company for over 15 years. However will , definitely never use this company again. Horrible customer service. Never had an issue paying my bill, I noticed on my bank statement I was charged twice for the same month called and disputed and was told that I would get the money back. ( I have no idea how many time this was done in the past). However never received my refund. After speaking to the billing department several times and explaining this, they told me my best option would be to call the bank and dispute the amount. The last bill I had with them I refused to pay until they fixed the issue. However, that was never the case they never fixed it and they sent me to collections. Save your money and your precious time and use another company. I have spent over $7000 over the years. Horrible, horrible customer service.

Being first time clients we had lots of questions! Melissa did a wonderful job of explaining the chemicals and the process to us and was patient with us moving the dogs around while she worked. She had been treating this house for years and we were amazed at how bug free the house has been since we moved in not long ago. Thanks for the 5 star treatment

Travis was super polite and friendly but also made sure to not only clean his feet before coming in but also automatically put on shoe covers so he wouldn't get anything dirty! (Since outside today is rainy and wet) He also did a great job when it came to spraying everywhere thoroughly. Overall, a good day for us and a bad day to be a pest! Thank you Travis!

Technician mark great guy very helpful great experience

Everyone was very helpful from the ladies that answered my questions and did the scheduling to the gentleman that came to our house to spray for pests. It was refreshing to have a person answer the phone instead of a machine.

Carl was early, efficient, and very helpful. All pests were gone within one day of service.

Mark came out and assessed my property. He gave advice on what to look for in the future and what the treatment plan would be. I will call Hill Country Pest Control to take care of my house from now on

So dissatisfied, not only was the ant problem not taken care of, the ants are worse now than ever! An absolute infestation. We have called another company to come take care of the problem.

Hill Country Pest is a disappointment. They did not follow up with follow up service, even after the initial service proved to be inadequate. They ignored my calls and then sent a bill that was more than was agreed. You are better off with another company.

Never showed up. Wasted a whole day waiting when I could have gone to work.

This company is a rip-off. They did a termite inspection and found no termites. But they found an old board under the house laying on the ground and said it had evidence of termites in the past. They said I had to have a termite treatment for $2,650. I checked with 5 other licensed pest control specialists and they were up to $1,000 cheaper for the treatment. But that's not the worst part. Two of them said the house didn't even need treatment. So I got a clean inspection report from one of them and closed my loan. Stay far, far away from these guys. They're only in it for the money and don't have customers best interests at heart.

Everything is fine as far as Hill Country pest control for technicians that come out and ladies that book. Some times would like Wednesdays due to our many Drs Appointments but Thursdays so far have been able to get mornings at Drs..rate 1-5........4 1/2.
