The termite inspector came out and crawled under my house to do a VA loan inspection because my son is a veteran and he was buying the house from me for his family. The so called inspector came out from under the house and said that there were some old form boards under my porches that were completely destroyed by past termite activity and it needed to be treated ($1,500) for sub-terrain termites. Myself and another termite company went under the house the next day to verify the claim. There were cobwebs all around the moisture barrier plastic and undisturbed dust all around the moisture barrier plastic which clearly, undoubtably showed that the fraud inspector didn’t even lift the plastic to even see if a forming board was under the plastic (None existed and no termite signed at all under the house). When I called the man and questioned him, he said,”Well they won’t charge you, they’ll just roll the treatment cost into the closing cost and it won’t come out of your pocket”. I am glad I got a second opinion because these people are thieves and not trustworthy. VERY DISHONEST AND DECEPTIVE BUSINESS.
