I have been using Bangos Pest Control for years. They have always addressed and corrected any pest issues we have had. We have also used them for termite inspection as well. I highly recommend them, very personable and friendly as well.

Go elsewhere. Don't return calls, don't stand behind their work. Treated my home for termites. For the first year or so they sent someone out for an annual inspection to keep the policy in place. Then they just stopped sending out a tech. I called, e mailed, sent letters, etc... Nothing. Some really good pest control companies exist in middle Tennessee, this is not one of them.

We have had our account charged $125 for no reason. Not sure how they can run a card without permission and provide no service. Also called 3 times and left 3 messages and multiple email to absolutely no reply! Stay clear of this company!!

I would not recommend this company. I have called 3 times for them to come back and no response. I left 3 voice mail message. They sprayed but knats are still very bad The last time they were here I had to ask for foam in drains. He said oh didnt know you wanted that. So I would not recommend this company. Steer clear. Bad service. Don't usenthem

Been trying to get in touch about our missed annual inspection for 3 months but they won’t reply. Customer for over 20 years so I guess they are out of business even though they still have voicemail and website. UPDATE Glad to say we Finally got in touch and have service scheduled BUT still don’t know why communication broke down. Long time customer and this is first time w a problem and should b good moving forward

Hi Jimmy!  We’ve actually been notifying customers of upcoming renewals via email since 2018, as we have for you this year.  To my knowledge, you have not responded to the emails to schedule.  To your credit, I did a search of our call logs and can see that you called three times, exactly one minute apart on April 30th.  Considering the very short window of time, I think it’s safe to assume we were on the line helping other customers at that time.  No voicemail was left for us.  If we are expected to return the call, a voicemail is necessary for us to know to do so.  No additional calls were received between April 30 and yesterday unless they were form a number not listed on your account.  As of yesterday, you did leave a message at 10:36 which was returned at 11:16.  I assume you were unavailable as you did not answer and a message was left on your voicemail which has not been returned.  I understand that you emailed us this morning and we responded back with an offer to get you on the schedule but you declined in your response and indicated you’d reach back out at a later date.  I’m not sure a one-star review is warranted or fair given we’ve made multiple attempts to communicate with you both via email and telephone but have not received adequate responses.

Absolutely would recommend without hesitation. I called lots of places to deal with a hornet nest and Bango’s is the only one who didn’t try to upsell me or put me on an unnecessary subscription plan. Very communicative, easy to schedule, flexible, and affordable. And also was great to work with a local, family owned business. Thank you!

Unfortunately I can no longer recommend this business. I have been a loyal customer for bi-monthly pest control since moving here in 2013. The last couple of years they have had many problems: no technicians available, missing my regularly scheduled appointments, telephone and billing services (through new systems installed) that were always "getting fixed". Finally they just never showed for my appointment, never answered the phone again or returned any messages. I assumed they went out of business but it appears not. I am an easy customer, clean house, never any issue paying the bill, not missing appointments, very kind to the technicians and office staff.

First appointment with this company, the technician Steve did not have all the producted needed at the time of the appointment, said he would come back the next day. He was no show/no call. I called and they said he forgot and would be back out next day which he did. The product did not work so i called to request additional service. They said Steve would be back out with a date and time. Guess what, he never showed. So I went to hardware store and got all needed and corrected my issue. I tried to support a local business but their technician is not reliable.

We would no longer recommend Bango’s for their lack of professionalism, miscommunication and unscrupulous billing practices. After many years of being very satisfied with Bango’s, their customer service took a terrible turn for the worse in recent months and now feel they fall way behind their competitors. We carried a credit for over a year because we paid the bill when they did not provide service. After refusing our banks automatic payments, they could not provide me any record of mailing me, calling me, or emailing me to let me know there automatic payments were not being received/taken. Kellie and the office staff lack some basic office management and customer service skills that are essential to running a business. We do not recommend doing business with Bango’s.

Billed for services that was not effective and would not discuss when I called to talk to them about it. I contacted Bango's Pest Control to come treat our house for ants and spiders. I called them because they had been treating our house for termites for almost 8 years. About a week after treatment, the ants and spiders had no decrease in activity. I called the office during business hours and left a message with my information and asked that they either not bill me for the service or come and retreat. I never received a call back. About 6 weeks later, I received the bill. I called the office on 2/15/18 and spoke with the office manager and explained that I had called about the service and left a message and nobody called me back. She said that she never received the message and I told her I wasn't going to pay for an ineffective treatment. I asked to speak with the owner. She said she would let Richard know. I never received a call and I then received a bill from a debt collector. I feel like after being a loyal customer for so long and not having anyone simply address what seems to be a minor issue - I just don't understand this manner of business.

Hello Dawn -<br>To save time, I'll just refer back to our response to your BBB complaint from April. It's worth noting that the BBB sided with us in the matter and refused to register your complaint against our business. Google isn't quite as discerning, though.<br><br>Service was performed at the customer's home November 10, 2017. On that day, the customer agreed to pay $175 for the treatment. Clearly stated on the invoice provided to and signed by the customer on that day is a notation that there is a 30-day warranty for the service. As is standard for most service industries, there is no return policy on pest control services. When a customer makes arrangements with our company to perform a service, they are charged then for the service. The warranty is the customer's fail-safe if the treatment is not effective at the first service.<br><br>It's incredibly common for secondary services to be needed when treating for pests, which is why we offer the warranty in the first place. But the necessary follow-up must be scheduled within the 30-day window following service. No message was ever received from the customer requesting a follow-up. Had such a message been left at our office, the appointment would have been scheduled, no questions asked, as we do with all customers requiring secondary appointments during their warranty period. If we weren't willing to honor it, we wouldn't include a warranty on services in the first place. We would charge for follow-ups instead.<br><br>Three months after the treatment had been done, obviously well after the warranty had expired, the customer angrily called our office. She stated then that the service hadn't been effective and she would not be paying her bill. She said the insects had never gone away. When the 30-day warranty was mentioned, she then said she'd left a message but didn't hear back. I found it puzzling that the customer had not tried again to reach us if the insects were so bad and she knew she had a warranty with a time limit, not to mention she would be expected to pay for a service she didn't feel was effective. She was told that the bill would stand because she had received the service requested. She demanded to speak with the owner, but since it was a simple billing matter and we agreed the bill would stand, he asked that I as a manager handle it. The customer had already indicated that she was refusing to pay her debt so I decided that instead of being treated rudely again, I would allow the collection agency to handle further contact with the customer. All further services have been terminated with this customer for failure to pay her debt.<br><br>Our loyal customers respect our company policies that have been provided to them in writing and pay their bills for the services they have received. They address minor issues and grievances with us in a timely manner so they may be addressed to everyone's satisfaction. Had this approach been taken, the customer's experience would have been quite different.

Terrible Customer Service. Have a rodent problem so they came out and set bait boxes in several places. That obviously did not work because Mouse is still around. They came out a second time and the problem still persists. When asked to come out a 3rd time, I was told I was out of my 30 day window and would have to pay again. Ridiculous. They don't take care of your issues and try to charge you again. I initially paid $125. I highly recommend you DO NOT use these guys.

Took them months to credit my account, and then sent it to the real estate agent, knowing full well that i paid for this. Didn't even have the decency to explain to me that they were sending it to him. I doubt i will ever see the credit now. I don't care how good they are at killing bugs. I wouldn't work with people like that. They kept telling us to send the bill to them, and then after we would mail them the bill, they'd change it to something else we needed to send them. Very bad!!

Gina - I'm sorry you feel your experience was not up to par. I think there might have been some confusion regarding the process of ordering the termite letter. Typically, the person who orders the letter (ie: your real estate agent) is invoiced for the letter. He or she will also receive the original via mail. So even though we received payment from you, it had already been invoiced to your agent since he ordered it. You were essentially making a payment to his account. This also played a part in receiving your refund. For insurance purposes, we must receive the original copy of the termite letter, not the bill, back to issue a refund. This is, and always has been, our policy. In this case, your agent retained it, making the process a bit more difficult. Once we received the original, the refund was promptly issued. I do hope you understand that we would never withhold a refund when the proper paperwork has been returned. To our credit, we are one of the few companies that do not charge a fee for the termite letter when a real estate closing has fallen through. Most companies would not have offered a refund at all.
