Their turnaround on deer is good and the area is kept very clean.

I have dealt with 3 processors in the past year, none have left me thinking I wasted meat, time, and money…. Except this one. We eat mostly deer meat and wild hog…. I have a full size freezer full of cubed steak, stew tips, hams, back straps, and mixed sausage bulk/links. All of what I got from this place from the hogs I brought are the worst I’ve ever had. The meat in the links is almost the consistency of a meat pudding (like someone already chewed it), and everyone that eats the bulk or links gets diarrhea within 20 minutes. I’ve pulled metal out of several packs and all of the pigs I kill are headshot…. so it makes you wonder where it comes from. I’ve been hunting my own meat for 30 years… I’ve never looked at hundreds of $’s worth of meat and regretted every dime of it. Their facility looks like one out building added on to another over the last 2 decades, I probably learned a valuable lesson by trying someone new, wish it didn’t sting so bad and ruin so much meat. Response…. Your response to my concerns was “never had that happen, I’ve been doing this blah blah years”), which is everyone’s response. I’ve been to your rickety place this year, my name has nothing to do with the product you put out. I’ve fed my dogs better.

The flavor of the hot links and summer sausage was spot on! Can't wait to bring another one, so I can try the JC summer sausage. Great Job!!

My husband and I have been using Claussen for 4 years. They process one order at a time. You get, only, your meat. No mass processing! Meat cutters are great. Vacuum sealing on all cuts and sausage. Dennis has the best sausage around. Very clean up to date facilities.

First time dealing with them and they service is excellent very sanitize, fresh meat and so much of it. Great prices very affordable. Great staff. I know I will be back very soon!

Whatever harvest my family brings to Dennis he always makes sure we get the best service and exactly what we want out of our meat. The facility is always clean, and you always get exactly what you order. Dennis is an awesome man along with his staff. Such a sweet family that owns an amazing business.

Rude staff and very unorganized

I may work here, but we are very clean and inspected on the weekly to ensure we give you the best experience. This is a unbiased review as my family and I get our deer done here also! We process one deer, that one order at a time! Yes, it takes a little bit longer than mass processors but it’s worth it and you can have an eased mind here. You come in, fill out a ticket when you drop off, that number follows you till you pick up your order and stays only yours! We bone out all of the deer, nothing thrown out! I can assure you that. The people working there are awesome and the owner Dennis couldn’t be anymore friendly.Your meat is always packaged freezer tight and stays fresh in your freezer all year long.Ask for Jeanie when you get there, she will make sure your handled properly with kind care.

The best around! No doubt! Their summer sausage is amazing and my favorite. Their personal honey bees make the best tasting honey. I’ve never tasted honey like this where you can actually taste a hint of the local flowers. It’s so good! You gotta try it! YUM!

This was the worst tasting deer meat we have ever had since starting to hunt many years ago. Meat is very gamey and borders on smelling rotten. Have to over season it to be able to use it. Maybe they should hang a little longer. Will not be back. Vox is less expensive and everything from them was delicious..

Skinners are the ones that gets it done for the processors to make magic !
