We had a major limb on a 100 year old Blue Spruce come down during the blizzard. SavATree came and examined the tree within two days of our call...gave us the estimate the following day and performed the work within two weeks. Very pleased with arborist and workers. They were on time, knew what they were doing and did the tree removal well. They were very prompt, coming out the next day.

This was an expert team. They took down a large dying poplar tree in just a few hours without any damage to the surrounding trees or structures, then cleaned up the area nicely. I highly recommend SavATree for any tree work you may need.

We were very pleased with SavATree's work, from assessment of the problem to removal of three large pines in our backyard that were close to the house and leaning over the roof. Access to the trees was difficult, but the SavATree crew was diligent and expert in getting the job done. We have had other tree preservation work done by SavATree over the years, including bracing and disease prevention, and we've always been happy with the results. They're a great company.

My 5 year old Red Maple (4" diameter) cracked in half during a snow storm and needed to be removed - I called SavATree and they got me a quote within a few days and had the tree out and stump ground within a couple of weeks for a fair price. Highly recommended. I'll be calling them for any arborist needs in the future for sure.

STRONGLY WOULD NOT RECOMMEND unless you only want them to remove/hack your trees!! I hired SavATree from Exeter, RI in September to remove a couple of trees and carefully clean up two mature apple trees. I met with Jarod and expressed how I recently purchased this home and the two apple trees were a big reason why I selected this property. The property was overgrown with vines due to lack of maintenance from the previous homeowner. I asked them to carefully remove any dead branches and vines while maintaining the existing shape and size of the tree (these are large mature apple trees). My wishes were reiterated several times via in-person converstation, text, and email. After discussing when the work would be completed, the only available time was when I was going to be away for work. I expressed my concerns of me not being on site the day the work would be done and Jarod reassured me he would be there and he could inform the crew of my wishes. Again, I reiterated the request for the apple trees. He assured me everything would be fine. Unfortunately, everything was far from being fine. I returned from my work trip to find that both of my apple trees were completely hacked. The largest apple tree, which had several different apple varieties grafted to it, was cut in half, removing the biggest part of the tree (and losing the grafted varieties). The other apple tree had the entire top cut off rather than taking the time to remove just the dead branches and vines. It has taken me a long time to write this review, because of how furious I am, but I wanted to share my experience. Months later and I am still upset every time I go in the back yard. They absolutely destroyed the look of these two beautiful trees. After going back and forth for weeks, the manager agreed to credit me back some of the money I spent. It doesn't come close to cover my frustration with having to live with what was done to the trees but at least they tried something. The follow-up communicaiton was terrible. I had to chase down updates on the credit, even needing to threaten legal action. It took months for me to actually receive the credit. I've attached pictures of the larger apple tree where you can see the full tree in bloom, clearly alive. The following pictures show how SavATree removed the entire right part of the tree (the largest part). You can also see from the cut that that portion of the tree was clearly alive. The remaining wood was still solid and moist. They also overcut into the bark of the smaller side of the tree that they left.

Contacted this company days ago. Haven't heard back. I am in Coventry and their website claims to service this area. Maybe they don't, I am not sure. Maybe they are just too busy. Anyway... Called someone else. We'll see what happens.

Not nearly as effective as the old Ocean State crew. Had a tick on me already. I was told if I needed a reapplication there would be a charge. The new corporate group comes in and out missing many areas in the contract. Ames’s crew easily spent 30 minutes doing meticulous spraying. Not happy with Save a Tree. Probably ending the contract this year if things do not get better.

Jarod has been a pleasure to work with. I dropped one star because part of the project wasn’t executed by his team as we had discussed it should be. Jarod came out and looked at the work that had been done and agreed there needed to be some adjustments made. He got right to work and made the changes and finished a few other things. I really appreciated that and the project looks great now👍

Did not finish the job at home and have failed to respond to my repeated request to return. Would not recommend.

3 years later and we still talk about how bad of job Kaiser did. They charge top dollar but they are definitely not worth it anymore. My favorite part was when a tree they planted died, after they dragged their heels for months on the refund they suddenly remembered some work they forgot to bill for and only refunded part of the cost.

They never show up or email you of planned visits for spraying. Not sure why this year but I'm tired of calling

Horrible customer service. I called and emailed them several times because I had a prepaid contract with them to take care of my yard and they never showed up. I called and emailed them several times to come do the work that I had already paid them to do (thousands of dollars) and they never returned one of my emails or phone calls over a 5 month period. they are completely irresponsible and unreliable, not to mention crooks because they never did the services I had already paid for up front. they were happy to take my money just not happy to do any of the work they were supposed to do. I have also heard from people who actually work for them that they are unresponsive to their employees as well and are quite a difficult company to work for. if you are looking for actual work and accountability they are NOT who you want.

Called and made an appointment but when the guy arrived he was very irritated from the moment he arrived. Seemed put out and questioned rudely why we called and why he was needed when he had already been there (a year before and for a separate issue). I tried to explain and he continued to be rude. I finally asked why he had an attitude when I was simply trying to get an estimate and he stormed off. Awhile later I received an email from the company saying they refused to serve me. This is literally the worst I have been treated by a company. I guess I was supposed to just let him be rude? Sorry, I am the customer and don’t deserve rude treatment when trying to hire you. I went with another company who did a great job and was polite.
