Buckaloo's Weed and Pest Control

So, I will say that I used their business for a few years and it went well up until a technician messed up my yard so bad I had to spend the entirety of the summer attempting to get it back to normal. I contacted the office about it and they told me to send pictures in and so I did. I told them to hold off on anymore treatments until the issue has been resolved. They did not get back with me for an entire month. By that point I was already done with their services and had moved onto another company because of lack of customer care. They then proceeded to send out two more treatments on my yard that I did not ask for. Never attempted to call me to let me know this was happening. They told me, “We sent it in an email.” After not hearing from the company for a month after sending pictures, I had disregarded anything coming from them via email. I mean why not? I’d already verbally told them I didn’t want their services anymore, so why should they continue to contact me via email? Considering I had big issues with the company, you think they’d do more due diligence to contact their customers in the regard of a prioritized sensitive situation. Nobody even made a attempt at any point to even see if my issues had been resolved in any regard. Now they are threatening to report me to collections for treatments I did not ask, nor was I properly notified about. The receptionist Lisa is normally one of the nicest people, unfortunately in this situation her true colors were shown. I say all that to say this, be careful who you trust.

I was a Buckaloo's customer starting in 2019. Everything was great from 2019 to 2021. The it went down the toilet in 2022. I pre-paid for the year, 7 treatments, for over $300. January, no one came to treat our lawn, called them and they said someone would come out. February... still no treatment, called and they said someone would come out. March... still no treatment, called, same old answer "someone will be out", nobody came. May, I had had enough and basically fired them because they didn't hold up their end of the contract. They did refund my money even though they said they didn't have to according to the contract. Then 2 days later got a call from I guess the "boss" wanting to make things right. I told him "nope, you had your chance". Went with another company and have been very satisfied. I do t know what happened in 2022but they really screwed the pooch. I DO NOT RECCOMEND!

I called to cancel my service and was told hi had to wait for the contact to be up and that they wouldn't charge me anymore. She said my call isn't in their system so i will have to pay the 2 months past my contract. I told her i would pay when i could as this was not budgeted for. She told me 30 days, they'll send me to collections unless i work something out. I told this is me telling you i can't pay this right away. She didn't work with me. Again said i would be sent to collections in 30 days. I will never use this service again, as i wasn't totally pleased in the first place with my yard, but i was in a contract so...

Very friendly. Come when they say they're coming. Return to take care of any weed outbreaks when asked (which is very seldom). I've used the big companies and I've stayed with Buckaloo's for a long time.

Our yard looks better than it has in years. Even with their personnel issues dye to covid they have provided stellar service. Highly recommend them!

They were always so behind. I am so frustrated and disappointed with whatever theu sprayed on my lawn because soon after they sprayed I started to get dead patches of grass everywhere and I’ve never seen so many weeds since I’ve lived here! They are all over the place... but yet I paid for weed control, umm... ok I don’t think so ! I don’t recommend at all.

They Really Know How To Do A Lawn Right!

I have used Buckaloo’s services for years and I have always had a positive experience. They have managed to turnaround even some of the worst lawns that I have had and eliminate the dreaded nut grass sprigs that drive me crazy. I have also used them for pest control. They keep my yard and home pest free and with dogs it is something that is necessary. The ability for my dogs to go outside and not bring in fleas or ticks is a relief; even when my prior neighbors didn’t keep their lawns up kept. I would recommend them and do for anyone that inquires.

We have used Buckaloo’s for the past 20+ years and have been totally satisfied with his work. He has treated both our lawn and our trees/shrubs all these years which has kept our yard looking great all season long. Mr Buckaloo is a man of faith and displays that in his strong work ethic.

Spectacular. The service is affordable, they cover every inch of our lawn, and we are constantly getting compliments on how beautiful our grass looks. Plus, we haven't had stickers or burrs since they began treatments - quite an accomplishment in Choctaw! I can't recommend them highly enough.

They've been taking care of my lawn for a year now. They do excellent work and always give me a phone call the day before they come out. Whenever I've called with questions they've always answered. Thank you.

Intentionally misleading, very dishonest. I asked for my entire lawn sprayed. Quoted me price for 1/4 of yard telling me it was for entire yard. Obviously the entire yard was 4x the price. They claimed they had issues with identifying yard on google earth. I never received a call for clarification.

Service is bad.

I have never written a negative review but this guy is an extortionist and a fraud and would get a zero stars if that were an option. He quoted me $100 on the phone to spray for pests at a new construction home that was having scorpion issues. When he finished he leaves a $200 dollar bill. I call and talk to a woman (who I assume was his wife) and she tells me it is $200, period. I told her to have him call me directly because that is twice the amount we discussed and it is still "scorpions gone wild" at this house. While I wait for a phone call (that never came) I have to call my favorite pest company A+++ and beg them to go outside their normal territory to treat this house. Since I have been a loyal customer and have referred many clients to them in the past years as a real estate broker they immediately agree and come treat the home. Problem solved! The scorpions are gone and we set up an annual service with A+++. Fast forward 5 YEARS. We are selling this home and I get a collections notice from the National Bureau of Collections for $200! Not a word from this guy for 5 years and then he contacts collections right when I need my perfect credit to purchase a new home. My options...pay the fine or dispute it, but either way it goes on my credit:( If I wan't a Christian, I would sue this guy and make sure he doesn't do this to someone else ever again. Sadly, he has the Christian fish symbol on his website. Sad! Sad! Sad! You should be ashamed, Backaloo!
