I wish I could give him less than one star. We hired him out to inspect our house and septic. When we came back he said the house was great the only suggestion he had was that we get the septic pumped because it had been 12yrs according to the seller that it had been pumped. He said he didn't need to view the tank to pass the inspection that there are other ways to see if the system could pass. Being first time home buyers we believed him. Well we had our tank pumped to find that it's disintegrating, there are holes around the tank, it's not on risers, and there is a live wire in the pump hole. Needless to say after having three companies come out to inspect my septic since last Thursday- I'm now out $7,000 on a septic that should have never passed inspection had he inspected it at all. When I called Scott he was very belittling, rude, and unapologetic. He even admitted he never located the tank so he couldn't inspect it properly yet still refused to even give me a portion of my money back. He charged us $500 to just flush the toilet and check the pipes that are in the house. His excuse was he doesn't carry a backhoe with him to look for tanks. Yet the gentleman who serviced my tank found it with a shouvel and prod. I do not recommend him to even my worse enemy. My husband, two young boys and I are now out $7000 to fix the tank and $500 on an incomplete inspection. Not to mention when we moved in the microwave wasn't working and the hot water heater needed a new element that he didnt catch during his inspection either.
