This company sent Phil out to my house to inspect for termites. Because there was old abandoned track he said we had termites and was ready to sell me $1600 termite treatment even though I have bait traps around the outside of my house. I got a 2nd option they found no activity any where around the old track. In my opinion this is fraud and just trying to take advantage of people that don't know. This is one company I would stay away from. Any company that works this way should be put out of business. No honesty to the public. Just out for a buck. Stay away!! Edit 1/27/26: They say they want to talk about what happened. They have yet to call me to discuss. Not very proactive, just making a show for everyone else. Not a company I would want to invest in.

Save your money! Don’t make the mistake we did! ZERO STARS if I could. This company is an absolute disappointment. Their so-called “treatment” made our mosquito problem WORSE. My newborn shouldn’t be getting bitten 5+ times just walking from the car to the front door — and yet here we are, month after month, paying for NOTHING. I can handle a few mosquito bites here and there BUT there’s no reason for me to kill 5+ within a 1 minute timeframe. We can’t even sit on our deck because it’s so bad. The guys they send out barely spend 5 minutes spraying and clearly it doesn’t work. What makes it worse? Our neighbors also use Rid-A-Pest and are dealing with the exact same nightmare. So it’s not just us — this company simply doesn’t get results. If I wanted to spend my summer wearing mosquito patches and spraying myself down every time I step outside, I wouldn’t be throwing money at this terrible service. I’m BEYOND disappointed. I almost never write reviews, but people need to know how much of a scam this feels like. Stop wasting your hard-earned money on a chain company that clearly doesn’t care + charges a fee if you need them to come back and spray after a treatment. Find a local pest control service that will actually do the job. Rid-A-Pest is nothing but a ripoff.

They do not provide service when scheduled. Show up at your home without notice or confirmation and doesn't provide complete service, then charge your credit card without authorization. Please find another Pest Control Company. You get what you pay for. In this case, cheap price bad service.

I have been with Rid A Pest for many years. You use to schedule apointments. The current Spider treatment is only good for 1 week.
Poor quality. We have tried to terminate our contract due to us being billed each month on time, even though we received no service. When called and explained the situation, the operator said we received service even though we watched a technician sit in our driveway for half and hour and never getting out of the car. When trying to explain that we don’t want to pay for service we never received, operator hung up on us without saying anything else. We attempted calling 2 more times and every time they would recognize who was calling, they would just hang up. After not receiving a proper service for more than a year, you’d think they’d have at least enough courtesy to apologize. Never again using their service.
This place is a joke and don't hold up to their end of the contract. This makes 2 times on a 12 month contact that they are skipping me. Claim to say they tried to call me and left a voice mail the one month but then never even tried to call again. I had to call them bc I got a bill in the mail with a late fee when they are supposed to charge my card after every service. I should have had my service the first week of Sept and then 1 lady claimed they called on Sept 20 the next lady I talked to claimed they called on Sept 21 and not the 20th and said my voice-mail was full. I don't have any missed calls and I know for fact my voice-mail wasn't full bc I never have any voice-mail. I had yet again another bill and a late fee bc they failed to charge my card after they did their service so now I'm going to have back to back charges in which I try to plan out my bills and that messes me up. How do they expect customers to withhold their end of the contract when the company itself aren't able to hold up their end????? I guarantee if I didn't hold up my end they would be sending me to collections and trying to get their money for the remainder of the contract either way. But what about the customers when the company doesn't hold up their end. It's just an I'm sorry!
Paid them over $100 for my first spraying which they didn't ever complete. Tech left and didn't come back to complete. He used my outside water hose to wash out his sprayer and dumped it on the ground . It killed one of my big beautiful flowering trees! I called the office and told the lady, he never came back, but she told me he was busy and they didn't have other techs but he'd call me to reschedule, but he never called..! Very unprofessional! And my beautiful flowering tree is dead because of his carelessness.

They never answer the phone or call before they come. I've been trying to touch base with them for almost 2 hours today.
Unethical business practices. Never had any dealings with this business but evidently the previous homeowner did and had an outstanding balance when they sold this home and moved away. I guess rid a pest thinks it's ok to change the name on the bill to the current homeowners. Now they are sending bills in my wife's name and adding finance charges. One star review for sure.

Sent a message for new service via the website over a week ago. Still no response from the company. I guess they don't need any new business.
