Carolina Turf Lawn and Landscape

Alla and his team from Carolina Turf trimmed all my bushes and pruned all my crepe myrtles, which was sorely needed! They did a great job, exactaly what I wanted, and cleaned everything up! I highly recommend and will use them again!

Everything is just great, its nice to have a great yard at a good price.

Alex, Juan, and Igor did an amazing job sprucing up multiple areas for me with fresh mulch, planting some azaleas and gardenias, and replacing an arborvitae. The job site was pristine when they finished, and the final product was exactly what I had in mind.

They did an excellent job. They were very thourough and the outcome is beautiful. There price was very reasonable for all the work they did. I couldn't be happier. Several neighbors saw the great work they were, and spoke them about jobs for them. Thank you so much. I will be using Carolina Turf for other projects and work.

We’ve never had our crepe myrtles pruned before and I got great advice and a wonderful job! Alex made sure things were done to my satisfaction and they also trimmed all of my overgrown shrubs. I certainly recommend!

We recently had Carolina Turf Lawn and Landscape add trees and shrubs to our backyard and they transformed the look of yard. Before thry did anything, the yard was very plain to look at, but Dave, Eugene, Alex, and the crew gave us a very nice yard to look at. They were very polite and very accommodating to some last minute changes we made. We are very happy with the work they did. We highly recommend them for any landscaping needs you may have. You won't be disappointed!

We had a long running erosion issue in our backyard. This was causing more issues with our in ground pool. Several contractors suggested a retaining wall and we went with Carolina Turf. They did what they said they would do. They were always nice, answered questions and most importantly they were meticulous in their work. Highly recommended! They laid down sod to complete the project and cleaned the street when they were done.

This is the second time we have had Carolina Turf to our home for some work in our yard. They are easy to get quotes from, responsive, affordable, quick to schedule, and do the work in a reliable fashion. We keep them on a short list to call for lawn and landscape needs at our house.

Edit: Owner reached out attempting to provide context and asked me “would you be able to edit/delete your review”, I said I would not edit or delete my review because I felt my review was honest. The owner then responded with “Deleting would be best option but it’s your call.” Please read my experience before you consider signing up with Carolina Turf. I used Carolina Turf for one year but I switched lawn services because the service I had been receiving from Carolina Turf was inconsistent and expensive. When I called the front office (April 2025) and canceled my service everything went smoothly (or so I thought). I had a bad feeling so I canceled the card I had on file with them. Sure enough, one month later a technician from Carolina Turf reached out and I had to inform them that I had already canceled my service, odd, but miscommunications happen. After that, I checked my card and I noticed they had continued attempting to charge my card without my knowledge. Between April 2025 through September 2025, they have attempted to charge my card 47 separate times. Today (9/18/25, more than 5 months after I requested the service to be canceled) I received a text message asking me to update the card on file. Had I not canceled my card they would have charged me for 5 months’ worth of service that I never received, I’d suggest using another company that has better customer service and better communication with their billing department.

This company installed irrigation system, they would come out and work a few hours on a rainy day and let 2-3 nice days go by. Done a poor job of restoring the surface, where ditch had been dug with very uneven fill in certain areas. Sprays were poorly aimed and when finished there was no follow up. Try calling them, maybe you get someone and just maybe you will be able to talk the person you want to reach. They may be good at cleaning up leaves and mowing grass, but their irrigation work stinks. They don`t know me or ever performed work for me is just an excuse they put on here for their poor work. Added a photo of the price it cost me for them not doing any work.

This company cuts grass until it is burned. They come out every week, cutting grass that doesn't need trimming.They do not apply mulch around trees or water the grass. It is overkill especially during drought in Charlotte with lack of rain. They spray for weeds in areas were flowers are growing. Killing expensive flowers and shrubbery Please see pictures.

Do not waste your time with these folks. Do not know if they do good work or not but their customer service is horrible. It took 2 weeks to get a call back and set an appointment which was later cancelled and rescheduled. They never called or texted and did not show up on the rescheduled day.

Communication and service were terrible.

We didn't have a good experience and we are waiting for them to rectify the situation. Communication was poor. Workers showed up with out advance notice. The work was incomplete and an entire flower bed was left unweeded while decorative ground cover( obviously not weeds) was pulled out and destroyed. A crew returned on Thursday 9/9 took photos, but did not fix the problems. They also left a gate open and one of our dogs got loose. Very sloppy and inconsiderate! Our bill has been paid in full, yet we remain unhappy and disappointed with the service and company.

I took off of work to meet them at my house and the never showed up 😡

Doesn't respond quickly, reschedules, amateurish work.

I've contacted Carolinas Turf Lawn and Landscape 2 weeks ago, and he did finally give a quote. I told him to please go ahead and come and start doing my weed control. He told me he would be there next Wednesday. Didn't show up, then when I texted him he said the next day they would be there. Still no show. Contacted him again and told me he would be here April 13 2017. And still no show no phone call nothing. This company is not PROFESSIONAL! BEWARE I wouldn't recommend this company.
