Hi Charlie,<br><br>We’re really sorry to hear that you feel this way, and we genuinely understand your frustration. Lawn care can be incredibly discouraging, especially when you’re doing your part and not seeing the results you hoped for.<br><br>Our team has made several visits to your property to help diagnose and correct the issues. From the start, your lawn was dealing with a severe case of red thread disease, which was made worse by all the rain and overwatering. Even if your neighbors are watering more, it doesn’t always affect every lawn the same way. That said, we did notice signs of the same disease in surrounding lawns, especially the ones closest to yours.<br><br>While we don’t offer a disease-free guarantee, we do have a Green Lawn Guarantee. That means if your lawn isn’t lush and green, we will help you figure out why at no cost to you. That is exactly what we’ve been doing. The results of the free soil test we took for you also came in from Cornell and it shows that you have an alarmingly low pH. 5.7! The pH is so low the grass can’t absorb as much as 1/4 of the nutrients that we are putting down, even less of what is already in the soil. This explains the massive red thread and constant weed growth.<br><br>Once the red thread cleared, we started to see signs of dollar spot. These issues are common when you go from constant rain to hot and dry weather. We treated for disease, worked around the weather with careful applications, and focused on getting nutrients into the soil without pushing the lawn too hard during that brutal stretch of heat.<br><br>We’ve explained before, and we’ll say it again. This takes time. Your lawn didn’t fall apart overnight, and it won’t recover overnight. But we’re not giving up. We will continue to do everything we can until your lawn is one of the best-looking on the block.<br><br>Thank you for sticking with us. We’re committed to helping you turn this around. Next step: a few applications of lime during moderate temperature days, increase that pH allow the plant to take up the nutrients in the soil and thats when the magic will happen!<br><br>Keep your head up. Vicki, I wish that it didn't come to this. We both know there is a bit more to the story than what you are implying. Starting with the fact that you never hired us to do the job. We had many meetings and a lot of back and forth about types of materials and design. Then one day Ty Hall shows up to my house unannounced while i was eating dinner (not my office) and handed me a $50,000 check. At this point neither of you had ever signed the job estimate that was sent to you through our crm program. I told Ty that I would use the money to procure the wall block you wanted special ordered so it would get here quickly and that is exactly what I did. We usually have a much difference payment schedule laid out for large jobs. After the block arrived from Canada, site one delivered about $46k out of the $68k worth of block to your house. Ty asked several times when we would start and I said we needed a contract signed before starting. We have a system. I needed the estimate signed off on so I could move forward with writing the contract, contacting my vendors to approve pricing, and finalize our agreement. A contract was not even written. After several months with no signed estimate, I told you that it was too late in the season to do the work and I didn't have the manpower to do multiple large jobs at once. I stated on several occasions prior that I will not start the work without a signed contract, but I'd help your cause by getting you those materials. Later, I gave you a receipt for the materials, from my vendor and sent you a check for the difference via certified mail, which was cashed immediately. I lost a lot of money and time because you both delayed over and over. I told you right away that I would send the materials back and even after the screaming and cussing at me, and telling me not to touch them. You blatantly said they were yours. You said the same to my vendor, who I connected you with so you could get my pricing and have someone else do the job or return the materials. I am glad we did not do work for you. I am afraid of the problems we would've had considering your review is a lie and your husband still owes me $2000 from my security deposit from our lease. I added about $10,000 worth of upgraded landscaping to the property I leased from him and another few thousand in the office. Left it in good condition too. Even the lawyer and state trooper Ty contacted to speak with me thought the same thing. I tried doing the right thing from the begining and I did the right thing in the end. We are an honest company and a reputable one as well. I will not tarnish that reputation with a public argument. I'm glad you found someone else to do the job even though You and your husband caused a large amount of grief and anxiety for my business, my family, and me. All in a fit for not getting your way. It's been 6 months since i sent you the difference and my vendor was 100% on board with a return with a restock fee. However, here you are trying to tarnish my companies good name. I wish you the best Vicki. Life is too short. Stay blessed. 🙏
