Great company to work with. Bill was knowledgeable & thorough explaining the costs & application schedules. They also spray for Lantern flies if wanted. Moved to the north shore last November. Was warned by friends about mosquitoes in the area and was recommended to use Mosquito Joe. We were very happy with their service. They came back if we needed them and were very courteous. We purchased the seasonal package and they were great

Had an ant infestation for a few years. Ants we're showing up in our house in February after a rainstorm! You could not sit in the yard without ants crawling all over you. After using Mosquito Joes for our outside perimeter and a different company that worked in the inside of the house we have not seen any ants since last spring. Next season we plan to only continue with Mosquito Joe to take care of the outside of the house the yard and the bushes. I have never been able to sit outside at dusk in our yard without being bothered by bugs. This year it was a joy to sit outside All Summer Long, no bites, no ants. It was telaxing!!

We hadn’t used our back porch in years. Too many bugs. This year we decided to try Mosquito Joe. BEST decision we ever made. They took care of the mosquito and other bug problems. We have been using Mosquito Joe for a few months and my only regret is that I didn’t start sooner! We have no nasty mosquitos in our yard and we can actually enjoy our space now! Their customer service is amazing and it is worth every penny!

I couldn't ask for a better Mosquito Spray company to service my home. I love the fact that they not only let you know the day before that they are coming via email, but they also text the day of to let you know the window they will be arriving as well as letting you know 30-60 minutes before they show up . I was able to enjoy another summer in my yard without the annoyance of the bugs. Awesome job as always!!!!

I’ve been calling & leaving messages, after you call they send you a text asking why you called I replied to all the text messages. This has been going on for months I have yet to hear back from anyone. The mosquitoes in my yard are unbelievable! I’m really not sure what I’m paying for at this point.

This is the 3rd time I used mosquite joe to spray my front and back yard. Everytime they come, there is an entirely new crew who have no context of what works from previous experience. I already know that and therefore I asked the crew to meet me before spraying and even after explaining them everything, they did not do the job properly. I was watching them from my windows from the inside and they left in barely less than 2 mins without spraying properly and enough. I have a corner property and lots of trees lined up for privacy. I told them to spray them as high as they could go and also on the corners of the shed and some other areas. But the guys were just in a rush to leave. Even after complaining to someone called Steve who seems to be a office manager or owner and he acknowledging the issue, no on reached back to resolve. The 4.9 stars you see are a joke because that's not what they really are.

Not returning this season. Still had mosquitoes at dusk for $124.99 a treatment last year.. called for respray and they said to my husband that the spray was due since it was close to 3 weeks. Had to pay and still had mosquitoes. Saw maybe a few ticks. Doing the spraying myself for now. Response- account is under my husband & I am a client in the north shore.

After 2 out of 3 treatments we stopped the service because we didn’t see any decline in mosquitos which we were promised. We were told that we should see a significant reduction of mosquitos after the first and second treatment, around 90%. That definitely was not the case. They should have offered the third treatment for free since it did. Nothing the first two treatments.

BURNED AND KILLED PLANTS AND GRASS, NO DECREASE IN PESTS, SAW AN INCREASE AFTER 3 MONTHS OF SPRAYS. I know the way these companies work, and how they're going to respond to this review with some sort of false narrative, this is a Franchise under the Neighborly Home Services Franchise, and they're nothing short of incompetent. I'm a patient person, I followed what they told me, that it would take three sprays to see a decrease in pest activity, to be patient, and I was, and I'm even more disappointed. Would give zero stars if I could. I regret choosing Mosquito Joe. From start to finish, my experience has been nothing short of a nightmare. The communication is atrocious, both with me and within their own team. The office staff and technicians don't seem to talk to each other, leading to multiple mishaps. The first time they came to spray, they "got confused" and didn't even spray my backyard—the whole reason I signed up in the first place. After four sprays, I saw no decrease in pest activity; in fact, the pests seemed to increase. I was told I wouldn't see a decrease unless my neighbors also sprayed, which makes their "barrier spray" completely useless. They blamed a small bucket with an inch of rainwater that was there for less than 12 hours for my pest problem, despite having done three months of sprays. The last straw was when they dumped a ton of granules in my grass and flower beds, burning and damaging my plants and killing my grass. You can see in my photos the absurd amount of granules they put down I've tried nonstop to get in contact with the manager. Initially, I was transferred to someone who promised to call me back in 15 minutes but never did. I called three times today to speak to this manager. The first two times, she wasn't available and didn't call me back. On the third call, the receptionist told me my file was handed off to a different team. Even after canceling my service almost a week ago, I received an email today stating they are scheduled to come tomorrow for another spray. This level of incompetence is unbelievable. Overall, this has been a frustrating and damaging experience. I strongly advise against using Mosquito Joe, and wish I would've asked around because everyone I've spoken to mentions having a similar experience.

Hey Vincent,<br><br>Looks like we have done a few treatments at 8 Norfolk Court in Coram. We are a family owned business and take pride in servicing our customers. There will not be any false narrative as suggested, just scientific knowledge. Our service and products scientifically work to eradicate mosquitos, ticks and fleas. The product does not burn or discolor foliage, especially our granular products. We as a company will not spray flowering plants due to pollinators, we use granular products instead. Which would have absolutely no impact on green foliage. If mosquito activity continues on properties it is usually due to standing water as admitted in your review "bucket of water." Scientifically female mosquitos can produce 100-300 eggs at one time and the eggs can hatch in mosquito larvae within 48 hours. So as to conclude we spray an insecticide "lets photosynthesis happen" , not a herbicide which affects green plants and grass. Not enough watering of lawns will also brown grass especially how hot the weather has been. Any other questions can be explained in full detail by giving us a call at our office. We also get rid of those pesky spotted lanternflies with our all natural treatments......
"I want to warn everyone that this company is extremely dishonest. I will never recommend them. They sent me a card by mail offering a 50% DISCOUNT for first-time customers and promised to come back and spray for FREE if I wasn't happy. Now, they want to charge me again, and the first spray should have cost $59.00, not $100.00. This company's behavior is completely dishonest."

Warning to everyone who uses this service - they do not hold true to their word of rewarding people to take time to write a google review with a promised gift card. So in a sense their customer service and ethics are unacceptable. I was promised a gift card in november and have followed up with them 3 times and am told I am still on a list. The first two times it was a different excuse - the person left the company who handles that or the person is on vacation etc etc. The last time I followed up I was told I would have something by the end of January only to have to take more time out of my day to follow up and get another lame excuse that they are done in “bulk”. what does that even mean? It’s unacceptable and I will not be using them ever again. Update: The response from the owner is a complete lie and fabrication. I never demanded a gift card to take this review down. In fact I told them to keep their gift card after my third call to them so he is blatantly lying. Also I DID give them every opportunity to make this right but they refused and wasted even more of my time.

Absolutely awful customer service. They erroneously charged my credit card they had on file to someone else’s account and refused to reimburse me. Ongoing issue for over six months that has yet to be resolved. Never return my calls timely, say they’ll fix the issue but never did. Absolutely ridiculous and left me with no choice but to go the legal route. Disgrace how they have treated a loyal customer.

I expressly hired Mosquito Joe for my son's Engagement party. When the woman came to spray, I requested she concentrate on my back yard and patio area, where the tents would be placed. When I went out 15 minutes later to speak to the worker, she had already packed up and left! I immediately called the company and questioned how she could have sprayed my almost 3/4 acre property that quickly, and cover all my grass. The company advised they only do a "barrier spray" of the perimeter, since mosquitoes aren't in the grass. (?) There is nowhere in the contract that mentions only a barrier spray, which I never would have agreed to! Deeply disappointed, when my over 50 guests were eaten alive all night by the mosquitoes. Please be aware!

Our neighbor directly to the side of our house used Mosquito Joe's services and we were NOT notified until after they conducted their first pass of pesticide use. We have dogs that go outside and we should have been notified prior. Additionally, the postcard they sent us later on with additional dates that they would be coming to our neighbor listed around 20 dates that they may come "on or about" with no times given as well. This is unprofessional and lazy; I should be notified exactly when they decide to spray pesticides right next to my property so I can ensure my dogs and family are safe. Lastly, the pesticides they use are dangerous and proven carcinogenic, like Bifen. This pesticide was banned across the European Union for being carcinogenic, yet Mosquito Joe sprays it in densely populated suburbs for all in the near vicinity to be involuntarily exposed to. The other pesticides they use are also proven to kill bees, caterpillars, worms, and other insects that are beneficial to the environment. What this company is doing is unprofessional, but mostly dangerous to humans, animal, and insects alike.
