Meerkat is a total scam. They said we had mice, flying squirrels, bats and squirrels. They wanted $6k. The guy who came saw we were new homeowners and he wasn't smart enough to remove his shiny gold watch on top of that. We had a local, highly reviewed guy come and we paid him for a thorough inspection. He said all he could spot were mice droppings which Meerkat told was flying squirrel droppings. Didn't even bother going into the attic but the local guy did go in. Never trust meerkat. Ever.

We take all feedback seriously, but we cannot find any record of an engagement with your name or "situation" in our system and our Inspectors don't wear shiny gold watches.

He was professional and courteous.. I am concelling the contract because I need to get more bids. I don't feel the figures add up. Half the cost of $2,500 is $1,250 due at signing. He charges $1,500 plus $200 taxes, which does not seem right and I signed without getting more bids
