Long Island Bedbug Inspections

I called Long Island bed bug inspections today concerned I may have bed bugs. Scott walked me through the whole process of checking on my own before him coming down for an actual appointment. He spent 20 minutes on the phone with me thoroughly explaining every step. In this day and age it is so rare for people to actually lend their expertise without forcing an appointment to charge for a service whether you need it or not. I am extremely grateful that he was able to address all my concerns and put my mind at ease. Thankfully I feel reassured that I don't have bed bugs but I am saving his number if I ever do need him and will be sure to recommend him to anyone that needs his services. I called Long Island Bedbug Inspections for a second opinion. Scott was incredibly responsive and actually came to my place the same day I called. The difference in service was night and day. Scott performed a meticulous visual inspection first, followed by a K9 inspection with his dog, Hunter. Scott and Hunter spent a full hour ensuring every corner was checked. Hunter gave no positive alerts, giving me the peace of mind I was looking for. We even got to pet Hunter after he finished his job. Scott and Hunter are certified by NESDCA and WDDO. If you google it, you will find that to get these certifications, the dog and its handler will need to go through rigorous trainings and get recertificated periodically. They are really held to very high standards. Scott is knowledgeable, 100% honest, and didn't prey on my fears or vulnerability just to sell a treatment. If you want an inspection you can actually trust, hire Scott and Hunter!

Fabulous service! Something seemed to be biting me and from my google searches it appeared to be bedbugs. Before I even hired Scott to come to my home for an inspection, he spent a lot of time on the phone with me to advise me what to look for. I found some suspicious things - most of which were lint - but because my findings were inconclusive, I arranged for Scott to come the next day. He was prompt, friendly, extremely knowledgeable, his dog Hunter was great, and best of all - after an incredibly thorough inspection of my whole house - no evidence of bedbugs was found (Scott surmised I was having an allergic reaction to dust mites from a 30 year old mattress.) Peace of mind and information attained from Scott for the future on how to protect myself were well worth the price. Highly recommended.

It’s is difficult to find a trust worthy, reliable and thorough person like Scott nowadays. From the very beginning, Scott impressed me with his kindness, honesty, and professionalism. He took the time to speak with me over the phone for nearly half an hour and even followed up via text— and I’m not even a customer yet. That alone speaks volumes about the integrity of his business. I learned a lot during our call and he left a lasting impression on me during our conversation, and if I do need to call back, I will absolutely call Scott for my needs. Scott is amazing! He came over and did an inspection by himself and then with Hunter and did not find any signs of bed bugs. He was very kind and communicative throughout the process, made it very clear what he was looking for and told me how I could look for signs of bed bugs by myself in the future. I also found him completely genuine and trustworthy! I was worried about being taken advantage of and just being told we had the pests so that we would follow through with treatment, but from my first phone call with him, I could tell this wasnt his intention at all. Would 100% recommend him to anyone with or concerned that they have bed bugs!

Wow wow wow! I highly recommend Scott. I am amazed by his kindness and honesty. I suspected my family was being overcharged and misled by our original bed bug treatment company. After reading the reviews here, I called Scott for a second opinion. He spoke to me for 25 minutes and answered two follow up questions via text all FOR FREE! I’m not sure we ever had bed bugs because the only confirmation was an ID by the other company’s bed bug sniffing dog, without visual ID by the dog’s handler. Scott said he would never start treatment without visually ID’ing bed bugs himself. My family is going to proceed with caution using the advice Scott gave me for monitoring for bed bugs, but if we do need future treatment he will be my first call. Thank you Scott!!
