My experience with Stern Environmental Group started when I was selling my house and the buyer's home inspector found mold in the basement. I immediately started researching different organizations in the New Jersey/New York metro area that provided assessment and remediation services specifically addressing mold. Stern Environmental Group is licensed in NY and NJ as a Mold Assessor and a Mold Remediation Contractor. The individual I specifically spoke with is a current Certified Environmental Hygienist and professional Industrial Hygienist. When it comes to being completely competent and knowledgeable regarding mold... you can't argue with their expertise. Stern Environmental Group responded to my inquiry, literally, within a half hour of contacting them via the Internet. Communications were always prompt and professional. Beyond their certifications and licensing, it was obvious to me when communicating with Stern Environmental Group, that they are highly confident and knowledgeable regarding their business and specifically the details pertinent to my specific finding. They communicated the facts. They discussed appropriate remediation and did not tell me what I wanted to hear… but the facts about my specific findings which is what I needed to hear. I did not feel pressured in any way, and I can say for certain that they didn't try to sell me services in excess of what was needed to properly remediate my finding.
