My sister recommended the Deer Guys to me after she had a great experience with them. I have used their services for 3 years and will be starting my 4th this spring. It is great to see my flowers and shrubs blooming and holding on to the flowers with them being eaten!

Consistent applications in conjunction with neighbors has had some positive results but not elimination of our deer issues. The reps are courteous & efficient when they visit our property.

We appreciate the review, Michael. Deer pressure is certainly a growing issue in the state and unfortunately nothing short of an 8-foot solid fence will fully keep them out of the property. However, we will continue to protect the landscaping from incoming damage to make sure your plants can still thrive.

I have used the Deer Guys for years. When I moved to another house I signed up for their service again. Before using the Deer Guys my plants and shrubs were eaten down to sticks by the deer, now my yard is beautiful.

I'm generally happy with the Deer Guys, but have had a few instances where the tech overlooks a shrub from time to time and the deer zero in and decimate those plants. Bummer.😟

Because of development, deer have been forced into neighborhoods to feast on landscaping. My hostas were annually eaten so that it looked as if I were raising celery. Since the DEER GUYS have treated my landscaping, my plants are off the menu.

I would not recommend. Treatment did not work on green giants which are already deer resistant. I was told there was no guarantee unless I upgraded to full service. Expensive as well. Google home made sprays and alternate scents.

Hi, John. We're very sorry about the damage you received and sad to hear about your cancellation. As you mentioned, we can't guarantee zero damage without our full recommended coverage. This does unfortunately raise the price of the application, but with more of the spray on the property, the better protection you receive. With such a scarcity of food and overpopulation, the deer are willing to eat things they normally wouldn't, like your green giants. We greatly appreciate your business since 2022 and hope you will consider us again in the future.

In the beginning the Deer repellant was working. Now I am not so sure. Since the last application Deer are eating all my flowers. See attached picture.

Deer are hungry and destructive in the garden. A multi pronged defensive approach is best. We’ve used NJDC for a few years and generally the deer steer clear. NJDC are responsive in cases where deer deterrent has been diluted because of rain. The technicians are friendly and respectful. They are reliable.

NJ Deer control works!! We’ve used them all summer and deer walk right past house…we actually see them on ring walking by to next house! Even more telling, we planted a plant in between spraying and the deer nibbled that one plant. We called NJ Deer to move up application and they did. Well run business.

Considering that the deer just wiped out our plants I’d say that the results are moderate at best. Expensive. They often come just before a rain and claim that the product only needs a half hour to dry. Not recommended unless you have money to burn and are very optimistic.

As mentioned, some of the damage was to newly planted material which didn't have our repellent applied to it yet. Please let us know about new plantings in the future so we can coordinate an application immediately. We have a very weather resistant product, as well as a high success rate with our service overall. New Jersey Deer Control doesn't work. The Deer continue to east our bushes and tree that are sprayed by New Jersey Deer Control. Just 2 days after they came and sprayed. I count the deer on pictures eating our front shrubs that they had just sprayed.

We are sorry that you are experiencing deer activity, but it's very discouraging to read these social media posts from someone who has been a client of ours since 2015. It's hard to imagine that you have paid for a product and service that you claim "does not work" for the last SEVEN years. There has always been a tremendous amount of deer pressure at your property and we have previously urged you to upgrade to our recommended full property service to get better results. You have continually refused this recommendation which, in turn, has warranted less satisfying results. At this point we will waive your outstanding balance as a courtesy and close your account with us. It's unfortunate because we truly pride ourselves on the positive working relationships we try to establish with our clients. Thank you for your previous business.
