They come once a month and do a great, through job. Our pest technician is John and he is very nice and patiently answers any questions I have

The phone receptionist led me to believe that they captured skunks. I did not find that out until the gentleman arrived from the company and told me he did not. Mind you, he apologized, and I knew it wasn’t his fault, but the young lady that I spoke to misled me.

We have been using Elder for years. They are thorough , courteous, timely and professional. They don’t just come in spray and leave. They spend time and check for things no one else does!! I highly recommend using this company for business or your home!!

We had a very bad roach problem for years and struggled to solve it until we discovered Elder Pest this summer. We are seeing great progress now after some treatments. So happy to have supported this small but mighty business. I would recommend elder to all south jersey homes. Matt is one of the best extermination guys that I have had the pleasure to deal with in the last four years. I appreciate his service, and he pays great deal of attention towards the areas that I feel our most disturbed by The ants.

Called regarding have a wasp nest on my porch, was told they could take care of it and would also check around the house to see if there were more. The tech arrived and I spoke to him on the ring camera and he saw the nests. He did remove them but the "stuff" that came from the nests were all over the porch. When I came home, this "stuff" was all over my shoes. There was a broom on the porch - he could have swept it on to the grass. According to my neighbor, he was on the front porch only so he did not check around the house, like I was told. Definitely would not recommend this company.

Updated Review 9/11/2025: I’ve been dealing with a bit of a mouse issue at my house. The last time I used Elder was a few years ago for a different problem, and I remembered how great they were. So, I decided to call yesterday (9/10). I spoke with one of the office coordinators, who quickly had Marco reach out to me. Marco came to my house this morning (9/11) and was incredibly pleasant, personable, and professional. He reminded me exactly why I chose Elder again instead of anyone else. Thank you, Elder and especially Marco for the excellent service! AAA+ service, couldn’t be happier! I had a sugar ant problem in my kitchen that appeared a few days ago. After calling around to some other local exterminator services for pricing, I came across Elder and boy am I happy I did! They were half the price with better service than any other exterminator I’ve used in the past. The technician, Mike, came by and handled business like a complete pro. He also detected a small wasp nest behind my house that I didn’t know was there. Mike was extremely personable, professional, and knowledgeable. He did a great job and Elder is lucky to have a guy like him on staff! Thanks again, Elder and Mike. You are my new go to exterminator for the future!

This is an excellent company to work with...best customer service. When bee extermination didn't work 1st time, they were back very quickly for 2nd application...perfect this time!! Very pleasant and polite.

Chris, the technician, made sure to address every concern we had and went above and beyond with his exclusion work to be sure the issue was taken care of. No star is appropriate

The 1 star is solely for the niceness in personality of their answering service and techs. All have seemed like very nice people, come on time every time. However their services have been very ineffective, our springtail issue actually became worse after they came to treat our home several times. They repeatedly use the same ineffective spray, even when told that we have been seeing more and more- we even wait a week afterwards to assess their treatments. We already know that there will be more springtails right after a treatment, but it has been ongoing and growing. Now we are seeing them in our children’s bed, toys, play areas, food plates and cups. We are clean freak people and have never had this issue when we were using a different pest company. We had only stopped using the previous company because they were never on time to their appointments. But at this point, I would take late appointments if I knew the issue were getting resolved. Now we are locked in to their 1 year contract, while we constantly kill springtails in every room numerous times a day. Very unhappy.

They do a good job there on time they come back when they're supposed to.
