The grass isn't always greener on the other side. Now that my lawn is thicker and greener than ever I don't look at a few of my neighbor's properties and wonder how they do it. We are coming up on the one year anniversary of replacing our former lawncare service and couldn't be happier. Dirt and Turf has a great staff that is responsive and pleasant any time you reach out to them. They give you 24 hour notification of their intent to service your property (weather permitting) and then show up as promised. I paid more for the previous service and had poor results. Dirt and Turf charges me less and provides SUPERIOR results.

Always here when they say they will be, prices much better than other similar services, good communication and great results.

Dirt & Turf does an outstanding job for our lawn care needs from fertilizer to flea and tick deterrence. They are excellent in discussing any related grass issues and in finding real solutions, along with communicating about all appointments and any necessary rescheduling due to weather. Had a bad experience with another lawn company last year and decided to find another company. I’m really glad I did as Dirt & Turf have been wonderful. They were recommended to me by one of the older landscaping companies in town. The lawn looks great despite the dry conditions, and any concerns I had during the season were addressed thoroughly and immediately. I highly recommend them!

It is very nice to work with a family owned business. They are very responsive and eager to help.

The first picture is what my lawn looked like prior to using Dirt and Turf, the second picture is what my lawn currently looks like today. We previously used Agritech and decided to give Dirt and Turf a try this year since they were cheaper- well I learned the hard way that you get what you pay for. Save yourself the headache and money. I’m out $700+ and my lawn is destroyed. I found it strange that our sprinklers and watering methods were effective under other lawn care services, yet Dirt and Turf was constantly telling us we needed to do things differently. We followed all their advice- bought new sprinklers, changed watering times, all to no avail. You’re better off trying to do the lawn care yourself, anyone can destroy their own lawn. Response to owner’s reply: I posted this review with full pictures of our house and property after you stated that the pictures in my first review were not of my property and that my yard was “never that nice”. (Which you then edited and deleted after me posting this review) I also am not promoting any service, I quite literally said that you are better off doing the lawn services yourself.

I would like to start by saying that I highly recommend you DO NOT use Dirt and Turf. I had the nicest lawn in my neighborhood, and in a matter of a season, Pat and his team turned it to dirt. I have attached photos to show evidence. I switched to Dirt and Turf after my previous lawn care raised prices and D&T was cheaper. I now see that you get what you pay for. Pat and his team have every excuse in the book about why a lawn is not getting optimal results. "More lime, more water, less water, heat wave, change sprinklers, more phosphorous." Along the way I did everything they asked for. I changed watering, paid for applications of lime and phosphorous, and bought new sprinklers. This was all a waste as my lawn continued to look worse. After calling the office several times and speaking to Christine and Susan, I asked to speak to the owner Pat directly. I was told "he's done for the day, he'll call you first thing tomorrow.". Multiple mornings came and went and my phone never rang. After a week I called again to voice my displeasure over the lawn service and asked if Pat could meet me at my house and we could walk the property together. I was told that "Pat doesn't do that." I could only assume that Pat didn't want to face the facts that all the time and money I gave him amounted to terrible results. In conclusion, I would give Dirt and Turf zero stars if I could. Their reviews are padded on Google Review. Look at yelp and you'll see they don't have the same rating. Pat should've stuck to his original career instead of lawn care. If you want your lawn to look like turf instead of dirt, do NOT use them. Pat and his team have inspired me to save the $742.50 I gave him and try doing lawn care myself. I don't think I can do any worse than what he has done. EDIT: Pat claims the photos are of two different properties. I have edited the photos to show my house which I previously blocked in prior photos. More excuses, typical scammer. Notice the pickup truck in the front, that is MY truck and it's in both photos. Only difference is a terrible lawn and a different tree in the front yard. I transplanted the Dogwood in the first photo and planted a Flowering Plum tree. Avoid this company at all cost. I find it funny that I only hear from Pat after I leave a bad review. Pat also claims he was at my house....Then why did I never meet him in person OR why did he press my Ring doorbell camera. There were multiple ways we could have communicated, but I guess face to face or over the phone was never an option.

By far the best around. I’ve been in the business for over 17 years and they take a lot of pride in what they do. The pricing is unbeatable as well

Great service from a local company! I prefer to frequent local businesses when possible. Always helpful in addressing ways to improve our lawn/landscape needs.

One of your employees ran through a stop sign at the corner of Huxley Dr and Emerald Brick today, and almost hit me I don't even think that he saw me. Perhaps you should let your drivers know that they should learn what those red octagon signs mean, especially when they're driving vehicles with your company name on them.

Very responsive, did a great job

This place has padded reviews (notice how most are done 3 months ago) if you want the real reviews of them. Go to Yelp. Anyway, I paid hundreds of dollars and my lawn still looked horrible. I contacted them numerous times, and they always had an excuse why it wasn't good. Finally, I just got rid of them. Not to mention you have to look at their bill with a fine tooth comb because they will bill you before services are even done. STAY AWAY

They are very prompt getting back to me with an concerns on the lawn I have! Lawn looks good- still having problem getting rid of thick blade blue grass that is visible in the spring! Like the smaller company attention

I had employed Dirt & Turf for several years and was extremely unhappy with the condition of my lawn. I had requested they come out and remedy the issues with complete bare spots present on my lawn. I did not receive a call back after several attempts. SAVE YOUR MONEY!
