A short little guy on a Segway rolled up to our door acting like our house was basically a scene from a horror movie. He wildly exaggerated how bad our pest problem was, how bad our street and neighbors houses were, acted extremely scared about imaginary future infestations, and promised they’d “take care of everything monthly.” He then pulled out his ipad and showed us all the 5 star reviews and ranted on how great this company is, and asked for us to sign the contract right then and there…. Have to say that disappointment doesn't convey the Karen I want to be. I received a time window which the tech never made - no problem. Then he shows up late and accuses of me of being home because he sees one of my cars in my driveway. Fast forward I had to pay a different company to solve my problem and called today to cancel my subscription which was met with "maybe there was a language barrier". I'm giving only one star not because of the service provided, but for their overly stupid and draconian cancellation policy. We opened the account in May 2025 with an 18-month contract but have since sold our house and moved out of state, yet this company doesn't seem to care. The only way out is via...a $249 cancellation fee? What EXACTLY does this do? I'm inclined to charge them a corresponding Annoyance Fee, which would be just as valid as this needless garbage.
