603 Pest Control Services- A Division of Modern Pest

06/04/24 - So here we are 3 years later, I called to schedule my yearly wasp treatment and found that 603 pest was sold to Modern pest. As a result i couldn't schedule directly with 603 pest and was politely transferred to a Modern "Sales Rep." The phone rang for about a minute, and finally, someone in Maine answered. She was pleasant enough and researched what the wasp treatment would cost. She indicated that it would cost me $599.00, I was shocked and stated that last year it was $365.00. She stated that was because you were with 603. She then started in with what every big bug company does, JP PEST included, and tried to sell me a monthly package! That was the very reason I chose 603 pest in the first place. They provided a single treatment at a reasonable cost. So needlessly to say, but Modern has lost me as a customer. Fortunately, I found another company that will perform the single wasp treatment for, wait for it, one third of Moderns price. So, please do your research and don't pay for unwanted services. Previous post - Dan was our tech. I have to say that it took me five years to call 603 pest and get someone out to the house for wasps. I'm so glad I did. The situation has been getting progressively worse every year but I was skeptical about just spraying the house to repel our wasp invasion. You see I had called on other local pest companies over the years and all they wanted to do was sell me a monthly service package at an absurd price. I finally had enough with the wasps and read the reviews for 603 pest and decided on them. Right from the start I knew I had made the right choice. The staff was very friendly and they worked hard to schedule the appointment quickly and convenient for us. Dan showed up on time and went right to work after listening to me and him thoroughly explaining the process. Dan is very knowledgeable and professional in his craft! He is definitely an asset for the companies success. It has been two weeks since the treatment and no more wasps. I can now say without hesitation that I am a believer and 603 pest is simply the best!

Edit as of May 2024: unfortunately they were acquired by a big company and we are struggling to get the same level of service. The customer service person I speak with at 603 is really lovely. My struggle is with Modern - they didn’t migrate the accounts correctly so they coded our account incorrectly, didn't provide all the contracted services and didn’t follow our account notes. We loved 603 Pest and their dedicated customer service reps seem to be trying their best but Modern isn’t making it easy for them. They do a great job and all the technicians are super polite and professional. They leave the house in good order and we haven’t had any issues since we started with their service.

Absolutely phenomenal service. From the office to the technician, my wife and I were very impressed. We had a field mouse problem in our basement that I couldn't quite get to the bottom of, and I'm so glad I finally called 603 Pest and handed it off to them. After their first visit I noticed a complete stop in activity (after catching one leftover mouse that was already likely in our home). I set a trap again in our highest-traffic space and never caught another. Problem solved.

603 Pest came out next day to deal with our issue. Technician Jeff was excellent, went above and beyond, especially on a very hot and humid day, to treat our large yellow jacket problem. Will definitely use again in the future.

Called 603 for a wasp issue. Dan came out and took care of the problem. He also went around the house and found another nest that he took care of.. Finally, he went around the entire house and treated it to prevent any future nesting. Dan was courteous and professional! Will certainly use their services in the future!
