Avian Control in conjunction with a Bird Buffer TD-II have been a great success at our facility.

“We have 700 acres of sweet corn and have a continual problem with blackbirds ravaging our crops. Our standard method of controlling them used to be shooting them, but then we had to go through the crops and clean up the mess. In 2013, we found a new bird repellent (Avian Control®) at a trade show that we hoped would solve our problem. We started with 55-gallons in April and then got another 55-gallons in August (we harvest between July and August.) we sprayed once, then 2 weeks before harvest. The first year, we noticed we were losing less corn. We’ve been buying larger quantities ever since and even have cherries that we use it on. We can’t control the migration of these hungry birds but we can control whether they devour our crops or not. This product works.”

“We have a lot of Saskatoon berries and lost a lot each year to the birds. One year we lost $30,000 in berries!! We tried the Avian Control in 2024 and it worked like a charm. We applied it regularly for two weeks and then scaled off. We are very pleased with the results and are going to continue to use it this year. Our neighbors grow berries, too, so we will tell them as well”

“We have a U-pick blueberry farm in southern Vermont. We got a mailer this year for a bird repellent for agricultural customers. I had also heard of it (Avian Control) from another fruit grower that had success. The birds at our place were a menace and took over our bushes. I bought the bird repellent at the beginning of June and sprayed once immediately and then I started applying regularly late June and I was pleased. The bird repellent saved the crop by keeping most of the birds away. We had to work around the weather and the pickers but the spray worked good. Farmers have to be careful if they are applying fungicides or pesticides also so that all products work well. I do feel bad that so many birds went hungry this summer. I do want the company owners to come out and see how well the product works next year.”

“The Avian Control Bird Repellent saved the day and made a world of difference. We followed the directions with water and a little soap…didn’t know what else to do since the woodpeckers caused horrible damage. I recommend it to anyone who has a problem with woodpeckers. If the product didn’t work, the woodpeckers would’ve lived in the house instead of us. We thought we’d have to sell our cedar vacation home. Pest control companies should use this product.”

This product truly delivers. Out of all the products we have tried, this works. It does exactly what it says it will do. We harvest grapes into November 1 and will use this every year from now on. We have tried streamers and other methods, and we are very, very, very happy!!! The difference is day and night.

We have about 8-acres of cold-hardy wine grape varieties which are surrounded by trees. We get plenty of resident birds pecking and eating the grapes as soon as they start getting sweet. I've been using Avian Control for several years. We start spraying at or right after veraison. I approached spraying the grapes very cautiously, but I could find no adverse impact on wine quality. I am really quite happy with Avian Control's ability to keep birds out of our vineyard. I tried many scare devices and tactics, but Avian Control has been the most effective.

I have been using the Avian control bird spray for about 9 years. I have just over 500 cold hardy vines of multiple varieties. I also use fake owls and hawks and a bird distress call. Before the spray I could easily lose up to 50 percent to birds. With the spray I can keep that number down to about 10 percent or less. You do need to be vigilant and reapply have a hard rain.

Jon and his staff were very cordial and accommodating. Unfortunately the 2 products we used to eliminate a sparrow problem in my barn was not effective. I spent over $400.00 in aerosol and liquid spray products but my bird population did not decrease one bit.Jim Cipponeri

Don’t expect a refund if the product you order does not perform as advertised. Despite Avian Enterprises website stating that their product repels woodpeckers, it does not, even after many applications. Expensive product which the company does not back. When I contacted the company numerous times to report the poor performance of their product, I was told I could get a refund if the product had not been used Huh? I do not recommend this product at all. Avian Control Bird Repellent-Updated Review: After initially telling me I could only get a refund if I did not use the product, they finally agreed to a partial refund. I had to send numerous emails and make numerous phone calls to Avian, and after that, I was asked to provide specific details, in writing, on how many times I mixed and applied the product before they would reimburse me. It cost me $43.91 in freight charges when I ordered and then returned the product. Avian did not refund either freight charge, but did agree, after I contacted them again, to reimburse me the $2.16 in sales tax, not included in their initial refund. While I am appreciative of a refund at all, I should not have had to push so hard to get it and I am still out of pocket $43.91 on a product that did not work as claimed per their website to repel woodpeckers. Of note: There is no reference on their website relevant to customer satisfaction, so it is on the buyer to be aware.
