Best honey in Michigan! The owner gave our group a tour. It was very educational. All the kids loved it and gained a new appreciation of bees and small farmers. No one was stung.

Not happy with AWS at all. When I arrived to pick up my packaged bees, one of the workers handed me a paper requesting an additional $10. I responded that I already paid in January. They said that gas prices had gone up, and that their prices were subject to change. After AWS had already cashed my check, they should have honored the list price and not charged additional money at the point of delivery. What an extremely poor business practice--to put a small profit above honoring the purchase agreement. I will not be back.

We had a very large swarm of honey bees show up over the receiving area at Swartz Creek Meijer. I called AWS and they responded within 2 hours. They set up a box to lure the bees in and came back that same day to pick them up! They were very professional and it was great knowing we helped the environment! Thank you so much!!

Horrible experience. We ordered bees through AWS. They were shipped too early. It was obvious the weather was going to be extremely cold when they shipped. By the time the bees got here the forecast was to be in the 20s at night, far too cold for a new hive. I asked the people handing out the bees multiple times if I should keep them in their bee buses while the cold weather passes and they told me no, put them in their hive. We lost both hives that weekend. We were absolutely devastated. I tried emailing and calling with no response. So you basically took our money and ran with it, AWS. You have also lost a customer. We will be going back to our trusted bee keepers in Howell.
