Completely unprofessional! Treated our residence for bed bugs, put all clothing in totes and bags in the living room to be treated, when we returned after treatment everything in the bags and totes had been completely scattered throughout the entire residence, we had previously cleaned and it was spotless, now we have to go through all our clothes and clean and organize everything!!!! Wish i could give negative stars

I wasn't going to leave a review as I am just ready to put the whole experience behind me but I think it's important to point out wrongdoings of a business. I wouldn't want another family to go through what we went through. To clarify, the service provided was per our landlord's request and he was the one who paid but we had to prepare and deal with it so in my opinion, this review is still warranted as we were involved and greatly effected before, during, and after the treatment. We live in a 8 unit apartment complex. 3 of which, including our unit, were treated for bed bugs via heat treatment. (Because there are 8 units, the prime source and cause of the bed bug problem can't be determined but I am under the impression that the whole complex should actually be treated as a means of actual eradication but only 3 have been done.) Days before the service was to be had, we were given a quick inspection and a very vague prtocol list on how to prepare for the coming treatment. During the inspection, the two ladies(Ang and Vicki I presume?) gave off a very uncomfortable vibe and navigated our apartment in a sort of uptight manner. They were only able to find bed bugs in the room my sisters share, and they flipped the matress over, threw their blankets on the floor, and left it that way as they made their exit. The list we were given on what to do prior to the heat treatment looked very unprofessional, was terribly vague, and didn't mention what the heat treatment consisted of or what to do with valuable items that may be affected by heat. The Lady Killers Pest Control Website Offered no answers or help. We had to look at other pest control websites in order to fully understand the treatment and what it may do to certain items. On the day of treatment, we removed our household plants. Nearly all protocols on pest control company websites advise to remove plants prior to heat treatment as they could be destroyed. But upon arrival, Ang and Vicki notified us that this was unacceptable and that we had to put them back in the house or no treatment would be done. When we voiced our concerns, we were met with very uncaring and unprofessional attitudes. They didn't even want to check the plants in a different way. One of them claimed that bed bugs may burrow themselves in plant soil. I'm no expert but I have done a fair amount of research and have never read of this happening. Bed bugs do not have the ability to burrow--nor do they have any real interest in plants or soil. At the very least, we should have been met with more care reagarding this. They had the mindset of eradicating all bed bugs at any cost even if it meant destroying things that you genuinely care about. As a result of this, plants that we've had for years are blackened and dead. But this isn't even just about the plants, it's about treating your clients(rather they be renters or not)with care and kindness. No client should have to feel less than human or be made to feel bad when asking questions. But that's what happened to us. Regardless if clients are renting their home or they own their home, kindness and professionalism should always be the top priority. I can't stress enough the importance of looking elsewhere when it comes to pest control services. Please, find a well known and professional pest control company if you care about your home and your family. If given the choice, I know I would have...
