We had an incredible experience with Nate Demers from WeatherWize. Before we closed on a log home we were considering buying, Nate came out to take a thorough look at the property and give us an estimate. He spent a significant amount of time walking through everything with us, explaining what he was seeing and what it could mean long-term. His knowledge and attention to detail were impressive, but what really stood out was how conscientious and personable he was. Nate genuinely cared about helping us understand the condition of the home, and his honesty ultimately saved us from making what could have been a very expensive mistake. It’s rare to meet someone who is both so knowledgeable and so easy to talk to. We’re extremely grateful for the time and expertise he shared with us. When we do need restoration work done in the future, there’s no doubt we’ll be going straight to WeatherWize. Highly recommend Nate and the WeatherWize team!

Update/Edit: My original review reflected early progress. The project ultimately concluded differently than what had been represented, with unresolved items remaining at the time work ceased. At just a few years away from turning 100, it was time for this ol' cabin to be fitted with some brand new logs! I am grateful that I chose to hire Nate of Weatherwize after a majority of local log cabin builders couldn't recommend him enough for this necessary renovation. Of course the proof is in the people themselves, and I have been beyond impressed by the hardwork, artistry, and attention to detail of team members Alton, Ben, Eric, and KC. They are capable of working long hours, often in extreme winter conditions, while also delivering true craftsmanship to their work. Everyone was kind, respectful, and highly considerate of the needs of both myself and my dog throughout the construction process. Lastly, in a time where it can sometimes feel like quality of work and concern for others are lacking, this group of individuals were able to emphatically demonstrate otherwise. Thank you all for being so great!

The employees at Weatherwize are efficient, patient and kind. They got our home and garage cleaned and stained in a timely manner. Our deck was cleaned, as well. Our home looks refreshed and beautiful.

A log cabin that sat for 14 years was saved and this crew said they could save it and that’s why we bought it!!! You cannot go wrong here they are worth every penny and they educate you along the way very valuable!!!

Great work and communication from WEATHERWIZE.

The whole experience was very positive. The work crews led by Nick and Ben did excellent work on the stripping of the stain, the buffing of the logs, applying the 2 coats of stain and the sealer. The young men working on the roof also did an excellent job, paying attention to details. For me it was a pleasure to watch them all work as a team. I am grateful for how smooth the restoration project went and the men were personable and friendly.

Weatherwize repaired two damaged logs on my log cabin. The work they performed was a perfect replacement of the damaged logs. So seamless that they looked like the original logs when first built.
